Update

Oh my goodness

sorry for the lack of updates, I have been fighting sickness for awhile and I couldn't write at all. I am doing better and plan on updating sometime during my winter break.

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Hoildays!!!

Will it be you?- Chapter 25(Part 3)

Sorry for the late posting on this one.
This is the last part to chapter 25 (YAY!!!)
So, I'll be writing Chapter 26 and my goal to get that one up is by next Monday the 17th.

So enjoy part 3 from Chapter 25. :)



"It isn't raining anymore," I say as Sidney turns off his car.

"That's just weird," Colby says as I unbuckle and open the car door.

"No it's not, even though we only went 10 minutes down the road. It happens," I say as I get out of the car and close my door as I wait for Colby to get out.

As he closes the door, he smiles at me saying "Sorry,"

"Your ok Army," I says as I follow behind him as we head to the back of the car.

LC and Sidney are already there as I walk behide Colby.
I walk around LC and Colby to get to Sidney.

"Since Sid decide with Aaylah, we get to pick out the table,"Colby says.

"Sounds good to me, so are we getting two bills?" Sid asks as we cross the street over to the sidewalk.

"Two bills," Colby says as he opens the door up.
LC gives him a kiss as she walks pass.
Sid then lets go of my hand.

"After you babe," Sid says as I crack a smile.

"Thank you," I says as I walk into the end of the line, where LC is.
I turn around as Sid is playing around with Army, as they came in laughing.

"What's so funny?" LC asks.

"It's just a joke, you won't get it baby, so we up first?" Colby asks

"Go ahead," Sid says as he gets behind me as we head in behind them.

"So you enjoyed your practice? How are your teammates?" Sid asks.

"Yeah how are they?" Colby asks, commanting in that LC slaps his head.

"They are nice girls," I says as I get behind Sid, grabbing the tray and silverware.

"Know who is the captain?" Sid asks.

"Amy Johnson, she is good," I say.

"You'll be better then her, I promise that. So what would you like to drink?" Sid asks.

"Sweet tea," I say.

"I would like a coke and sweet tea," Sid says as we arrive to the "drinking station".
As the man behind places the glasses on the table, Sid grabs them as we follow in line behind Colby and LC.

"We are going to a booth in front of the windows," Colby says as he points to it.

"Alright,"

As we come up to the cashier, she has this jelous look on her face.

"Both buffets?" she asks.

"Yes," Sid says as he pulls his black whallet out from his pocket.

"Total is $10.50,"
I watch as Sid pulls out a ten and one dollar bills, handing them to her.

"Keep the change," Sid says.
She hands him a recept.

"Enjoy," She says in a snotty way as Sid grabs the tray.

"She was as snot," I say as we head over to the booth where both LC and Colby is at.

"Yeah she was. You taking inside?" sid asks as he sets our tray on top of Colby's.

"Yes," I say as he places my tea there.
I then grab a plate from off the table and head on up to get some food.

Looking at the four main bars, I couldn't decide what I wanted.
I then see Colby and Sid going after the meat, which isn't my thing.

"So much huh?" LC asks as she gets beside me.

"I can't decide," I say.

"Aww, get some nachos. They are good cause you make then yourself," LC says as I follow her over to a bar.
She is on one side as I get onto the other side.
I grab some nachoes to place them onto my plate as LC is piling up her plate with food.

"Dang you must be hungry," I say as I grab a radel pouring some chesse ontop of my circle chips.

"I am, I didnt have no breakfest before leaving this morning.
LC says.

Putting it down, I turn around to find some fried okra.
I love that.
Walking voer, I just begin to pile it on, until almost the whole bin was empty.

Turning back arouns, Sid and Colby head over here.

"What is that?" Sidney asks as he points to my food.

"It's fried okra," I say.

"It looks weird," Sid says.

"Try one when you come to the table," I say as I walk off from him as I make my way back over to the table.

Setting my plate down, I sit onto the booth as I move over to the wall.

"What did you get?" LC asks as she places a chip into her mouth.

"Some fried okra. It's my favorite here besides the rolls," I say as I lean over and grab a roll and the honey spread.

"Can I try one?" LC asks as I open up the spreading container.

"Sure," I say as I watch her grabbing on and placing it into her mouth.
Her facial experssion lighten up.

"It's good," LC says as I place the whole spread onto the bun.

"See," I say as I bite into the toasted, roll.

As I am chewing, Sid and Colby both come back with full plates.

"What did you guys get?" LC asks as Sid sits next to me as Colby did next to LC.

"A cow," Colby says as me and Sid begin to laugh.

"Can I take my piece now?" Sidney asks.

"No it's mine. Now go ahead Sid," I say as he uses his fork to pick up two pieces of okra.

"You picked up two, I said one," I say as he places both into his mouth.
Playfully I push his shoulder.

"They were good," Sid says as he makes a grin.

"Glad you liked them," I say as Sid comes closer to me as I feel him kiss my cheek.

"Aww," I head Colby say.

"Alright you are forgiven," I say as I place a nacho into my mouth.

"Good," Sid says.

"So what are you girls doing after we board the plane?" Colby asks on our plans.

"Just going back to the Lemieux's, packing LC's things. I'm having her move in with me," I say

"Oh your moving?," Sid asks.

"Yes I am. I can't live with my cousin forever," LC says as I watch Sid's facial reaction.

"Yeah and you can keep your eyes out for LC," Sid says to me.

"So how are you girls getting home?" Colby asks.

"They are driving the Range Rover back over to mario's house," Sid says.

"You don't let me drive it," Colby says.
I feel Sid wrap his arm around me.

"I trust her enought," Sid says.

"And not me," Colby says as he is joking.
Everyone begins to laugh as we hear "Hi Sidney,"

Stopping, I look over and see this little girl with pig tails standing there.

"Hi what's your name?" Sid asks as he turns around to greet her.

"Madsion, I'm three," she says.

"Aww," Me and LC says.

"Would you like an autograph?" Sid asks.

"No, me wnat hug,"
I make this big grin on my face as Sid gets up from his seat.
He then picks her up into his arms. She wraps her little arms around his neck.

"Madsion, there you are. I'm sorry Sidney that she bigged you," a woman says as Sid passes Madsion into her arms.

"It's alright she wasn't a problem," Sid says.

"Alright thanks for keepin her with you,"

"No prolem. Bye Madsion," Sid says.

"Sidney," she says as she walks away and Sid sits back down next to me.

"She was too cute," LC says.

"She didn't even noticed me," Colby says.

"Aww my poor baby," Lc says as I watch her rub Colby's arm.

45 minutes later with some chat, I place my fork down.

"would you ladies like a dessert?" Colby asks.

"No," I say.

"You baby?" Colby asks.

"Na, I don't want one," Lc says

"Ok are you getting one Sid?"

"No, I'm not in a mood," Sid says.

"Then I won't neither, what time is it?" Colby asks.
I turn around.

"4:45," I say turning back around.

"Let's get ont a move then," Sid says as he moves out of the booth.
When he got up, he stood there as he places his hand out to me.

"Thank you," I say as I grab it getting out of the booth.

We then begin walking as I know LC and Colby were following us.
Walking to the doors out, Sid lets go of my hand to open the door.

"Ladies first," Sid says as I smile.

"Thank you Sidney," I says as I walk pass him to a chilly outside.

"It's gotten colder," I say as I turn around to see LC behind me.

"it has, I'm cold," LC says as she runs pass me to Sid's car.
I begin to laugh as Colby goes pass me too.

To me, it isn't very much colder but it's November.

"You cold?" Sid asks as he gets beside me.

"Na, it's alright. I won't mind some heat," I say as we get to his car.

Colby is is holding LC in his arms against the car.

"That looks wrong," Sid says.

"Well if you ran, we wouldn't have to do this," LC says.
Sid begins to laugh as he walks to his side as I pass LC and Colby to the fron door.

"They are open!" Sid exclaims as I open the door and climb into ths car.
Closing the door, I grab my seatbelt to clip it into placve.

As I do that, I see Sidney turn on the heat.

"It's up all the way," Sid says as he buckled up.

"Thank you," LC says.
I watch Sid looks into his mirror then gently backs out of the parking place.
Turning the wheel, he turns the car to the direction of the exit. He stops at the stop sign.

"Clear on the righ side babe?" Sid asks as I look up to my right, seeing no cars coming.

"I'm clear," I say.

Then the car turns to the left and into the turning lane at the traffic light.

"15 minutes and we should be at the airport," Sid says.
I love my eyes to his car clock

"Your going to be late," I say.

"It's alright, we'll be there before we take off," Sid says as he grabs my hand into his.
It's great feeling to feel his hand holding mine but, it's kind of bring back meremories that I dont like.

They car is silent but, not everyone is silent.
I can hear Colby and LC whispering.

"Want to listin to some music, Aaylah?" Sid asks.

"Yeah, "I say as he lets go of my hand to turn ont the radio.

"This ok?" Sid asks as Shut up and driver by Rihanna came on.

"It's fine," I say as Sidney grabs my hand again.
This is so relaxing even if some people think it's boring.

I couldn't tell me time has passed but, looking out the window, Sid is turning into a back enternce of the airport.

"Do you always do this?" I asks as he turns the car into a parking place that is way off from the runway.

"Yes, I've been flying to alot of hockey games, sort of like a ritual," Sid says as he turns off his car.

This is going to be hard being away from him, since he has been here for me.

I watch as he looks over to me, with a grin as he opens his door.
Grabbing the handle, I open the car door climbing out of the hig car.

As I close the door, Army opens up the back door.
I just stand there to wait for him.

"Oh sorry, Aaylah. Go ahead," Army say as he moved the door.

"Go ahead Colbs. I don't mind," I say as he hops out of the car, closing the door.

Walking behind him, I see Sidney with his bag on his shoulder, as he a a little bit away from his car.
I walk over to him as I wrap my arms around him as he does the same.

"I'm going to miss you Sid," I say.

"Me too, I'm going to miss you," Sid says as he leans down to kiss me.
After he ends the kiss, Colby and LC comes over to us.

"Can you hold my bag, bro?" Army asks.

"Yeah," Sid says as Colby passes his bag over to him.

As he does, I watch as Colby picks up LC.
They are so cute for one another

I'm not ready to move to that stage with Sidney. It's might take me awhile to let Sid do anything besides kissing and holding hands.

As they were hugging, Sidney just smiles at me.
We are happy at the stage that we are at.

After Colby takes his bag, Sid puts his hand into his picket pulling out his keys.

"Here babe. The black one goes to the Range Rover," Sidney says as he hands me his set of keys.
There are alot of them.

"alright," I say as I lean int for another hug.

"Thanks babe, I'll call you tonight ok?" Sid asks.

"Ok," I say.

"Ready army?" Sid asks as I watch them give up on a kiss.

"Yeah I'm ready. Bye baby," Colby says as he gets by Sid, then began to walk off.

As they walk away, me and LC waves at them knowing they couldn't see it.
When they are a far distance away, I turn to LC.

"Let's go," I say as we turn around heading back to Sid's rande rover.

"I'm going to miss my Army," LC says.

"I know, I'm going to miss Sidney," I say as I walk to the drivers side of the car.

I couldn't believe in how much trust Sidney has for me. He gave me his set of keys and permission to drive his car.

Opening the unlock door, I climb up into the driver's seat. It feels very different from the passinger side seat.

"I can't believe Sid let you drive his car, He has alot of trust in you," LC says as O lean over, placing the key into the car.

"Yeah," I say as I turn the car on hearing the engine purr.
Grabbing the seatbelt, I cross it over my chest to the buckle clips it into place.

"You have your seatbelt on?" I ask.

"Yes mom," LC says.

"Nervosly, I place the car in reverse.
Looking behind, after seeing no cars, I pull out of the parking place.
Shifting it into drive, I turn the wheel some to get it straight as I head for the enternce that we came in from.

Stopping, I look both ways as I turn right.

"So we're heading back to Marios?" LC asks.

"Yep,we are going there now," I say as I stop at and intersection.
Turning the wheel, I turn to the left heading for Sewickley.

"OK" LC says
As I look at the road,I hear my phone going off to "Bleeding Love"

"I like you ringtone," LC says as I remove my right hand from the wheel to grab my cell from my pocket.
Pulling it out, I open it to place it onto my ear.

"Hello," I say.

"Hey Lee, it's Vette. How was your practice today?" Vette asks .

"It was exhausting, my coach pushed me hard today. How was the lab?" I ask.

"It was nice. Ryan was sick today,so he never came in but lab was good but my afternoon classes were not. I have an 5 page essay due on Friday," Vette says.

"Aww man that sucks," I say.

"I know but, what am I going to do now? Right now, I'm just relaxing. Geno left earlier to get packed for the trip,"

"Me and LC just dropped off Sid and Army. I'm actually driving Sid's car,"

"Oh wow. what are you doing next?"

"Packing up LC and getting her out of the Lemieux's house,"

:Ah nice. Can I talk to her?" Vette asks as I turn left, instead of right leading my my apartment

"Yeah, I'll talk to you soon," I say as I pass my cell over to LC.

"Hey Vette," LC says.
As LC talked to Vette, I just focus my eyes out onto the road, with snow to the side of them. It was a crappy day but, it's just peaceful to drive.

5 minutes later, I turn left onto the Lemieux's road as I hear a phone shutting.

"That was a long talk," I say as I see Lc placing my phone in the middle.

"Yeah, she is talkie today," LC says.

"She can some days," I say as slow down, turning into the Lemieux's driveway.

"I told her that I'm moving in with you and she likes that I am,"

"I know, she hates to traveling out here but, now sh won't have too,"

Seeing the spot that sid's car ws in before, I gently turn the wheel to pull into the spot, making sure i didnt hit my car.

"Good parking," LC says as I turn off the car. I watch as she opens her door as I grab my cell phone.
Pulling the keys out, I open the door to climb out.

Walking to the back, my parking with sid's car was better then with my own car.

"Thanks," I say as LC stood beside me.

"Well let's go in and begin to pack," LC says.

"Alright," I say, as we head up the walk way to the front porch.
I am not a very good packer, but I'm a great organizer.

Walking on the front porch, I seen Mario's oldest daughter, Lauren talking on the phone.
I let LC get ahead of me since she's known the Lemieux's longer then I have.
She opens the door as I follow her inside.
Walking down the steps, we head down the hall that leads to the TV room area.

"Hey you two. You look sad," Nathalie says as she walks over to us by crossing the TV.

"Mom," Austin says.

"The boys just left," say.

"Aww you two will be fine. You will be busy until they come back," Nat says.

"True, very true," LC says.

"will you be able to take me home Aaylah? I'm going to drive LC's car over to the apartment with a few boxes. And i know Mario wouldn't wait to around," Nat says.

"Yes, I can drive you back over here," I say.

"Ok but, it will be later on when Mario gets home, so a parent will be here with the kids,"

"Alright, we still might be here when he gets home," I say.

"Mom!!" I hear a girl exclaim.
I turn my head a little to see Lauren coming in.

"What is it?" Nat asks.

"Can I go to the movies with Mark?" Lauren asks.

"Tonight?"

"Yes, in a few minutes,"

"Alright but keep your cell on ok?"

"Fine,"

Lauren walks away as I turn my head back around.

"Well lets get on that packen," LC says.

"Ok," I say.

"See you girls in a bit," Nat says as we both turn around heading down the hallway that led to Sid's wing of the house.

"I hope he left it unlock," LC says.

"Yeah or we might have to ask for a key," I say, laughing.

Walking more to the door, there are pictures of hockey games. the one that most caught my eye was in late 2005 when Sid scored his first goal.
I remember watching that on TV, but I wasn't so excited over it and I didn't even know it was Sid.

Stopping behind LC, I watch as she twists the door wide open.

"Looks like he left it open for us," LC says as we begin to laugh.
I follow her in as I turn around to close the doors.

"Ready for this?" LC asks as I follow her to her bedroom door.

"Yep," I say as she opens her door, reviling a sort of a mess but, it wasn't too bad.
She already had boxes on her bed, ready for packing.

"I know it's bad but, it wont be after we are done with it," LC says as I follow her into her room.

"We are going to be packing for awhile," I say as I grab a box, heading to her closet.

Then "Crush,Crush,Crush" By Paramore came on the radio.
I love this song.

As I grab a few pieces of clothing, I begin to dance to the music.

"Haha, shake it girl!!!"LC exclaims.
As another song came on, let the packing begin.


One hour and thirty minutes later.

I fold up the folds of the last box.

"Done," I say as i hit the top of the box.

"Yay!! that took forever to clean," LC says as she grabs a few boxes.

"I know but, we got it done. Now all we got to do it move you," I say.

"Yeah, oh let me go get Nat and see if Mario is home," LC says as I follow her out of her bedroom.

"while you do that, I'll go open my car up," I say.

"Ok," LC says as she walks out.
As she does, I turn around and head to Sid's bedroom door.
Opening it up, I grab my bag from off the floor, shutting the door behind me.

Walking pass the living room, I exit the wing heading into the main house.
I see LC talking to Nathalie as I turn down the hall that leads to the front door.

Walking up the stairs, I grab the front door as the knob begins to turn.
Knowing it was someone, I step to the side as the door opens.

"Hey, you leaving?" Mario asks

"yeah but not right now. LC is moving in with me tonight," I say.

"That's good news to hear, she doesn't need to be living with her cousin forever. so how are you today Aaylah?" Mario asks, takig off his shoes.

"I'm exhausted, my hockey training was intense today. How about you?" I ask.

"Very busy, I was running around with a chicken's neck cut off,"

"Yeah, I've been the sameway,"

"Well I'll let you get vaxk to moving," Mario says as he taps me on my back.

After he walks away, I walk outside to a chilly dark night.
Breathing in, I head down the steps and down the walk to the driveway.

Crossing the drive, I head over to my car, which is in between two sliver SUV's.
Pulling my keys from my pocket, I place it into the keyhole to open up the trunk. looking inside my hockey bag is on the left side as I take my clothes bag placing it beside the other bag.

Now with that, it is time for the boxes to begin piling in.
As I turn around, I look to my right seeing lights coming down. It must be Nathalie.As the car came closer, the lights go out.

"You blinded me there Nat," I say as I watch her getting out of the car.

"I'm sorry, so how much room does your car have?" Nat asks.

"Alot of room, I'm sure LC's car cant handle too much," I say

"Yeah,so we could put the bigger boxes in LC's car,"

"Alright sounds good to me," I say crossing the driveway.

"Ok"

I walk up the walkway as I get up the three steps to the porch.
Opening the screen door, I hold it for Nathalie, as she adjusts the door.

"Now it will stay open as we move,"
I head down the steps and walk down the hall to the Lemieux's TV room
Then I turn to the right heading down the hallway.
I can see the doors open as I walk in.

"LC we are here," I say as I head to her room, in which she is holding three boxes.

"Cars ready?" LC asks as I take a box off, so she could see.

"Yes," I say as LC passes me and Nat.
Looking arounf, I find the two biggest boxes.
Setting the small box down, I head over to the larger boxes.

Picking one up, it wasn't too heavy, so I place it back down as I grab the other box placing it ontop.
Kneeling down I place my hands at the bottom as I lift them.

"Give me that box," Nat says as I feel her taking the box off of mine.

"Thanks Nat," I say as I follow her out


10 more minutes of moving boxes into the cars, I reach up slamming my trunk.

"My whole car us full of boxes," I say.

"We should have asked Sid to use his car," LC says.

"Nah but it would have made things easier," I say as I pull out my phone.
I move it up as I see 1 message is on my phone. I haven't checked on it.

When I look up Lc is on her phone too, so I go to voicemail, and place in my password.
then I place it against my ear.

"Message one from Crosby,Sidney at 7:30pm today,"

"Hey babe, I landed safetly in New Jersey. Just wanted to tell you that I'm ok. I'll call you later on before 10. I miss you babe. bye," Sid says.
Should I call him back?
I'll wait until I get home to do that.
Closing my phone, LC does as well.

"Ready to go after your cell phone break?" Nat asks as I smile.

"Yep," Lc says.

"Alright, I'll follow you two since i have no idea where I am going," Nat says

"Ok," I say as i walk over to my car.
I open my door as LC opens hers. Climbing into the car, I take out my keys placing them into the ingition.

"This is so exciting," LC says as I buckle up.

"I know. This will be my first time living with someone else, other than my parents," I say.

"Then that's good,"

Turning behind me, I wanted to make sure Nathalie is out of my way. Placing the car into reverse, I slowly back out as I am looking to make sure I dont hit something.
Successfully backing out, I place the car into drive. Turning the wheel I head down the driveway.

Before I head onto the road, I turn on my lights.

"Never turn on your lights like I just did. Turn them one before you back out," I say as I turn to my left.

"Ok, are you sure your a good teacher?" Lc asks, laughing.

"Yes," I say as I turn every which way as I place my right blinker on, turning into my apartment complex.

"Too many turns to get here," LC says as I turn left.

"That is the final turn," I say driving down to my apartment building.

"Finally," LC says as I approach my building.

looking into the dark parking lot, I turn the wheel into a parking place.
Turning my head to the left I see Nathalie pulling in beside me.

Grabbing my keys, I turn them to shut off the car.

"I'm so tired," I say as I open my door up.

"Me too. Can't wait until the boxes are in," Lc says.

Grabbing my keys, I climb from the car.
Closing the door, Nathalie walks over to us.

"How are we going to do this?" Nathalie asks.

"Let me go open my door, and we will begin moving in. When you walk in just leave the boxes in the TV room cause I dont know how clean my spare room is," I say.

"Alright sounds good to me," Nat and LC says.

Turning around, I walk to the back of my car.
Again I take my key and pop it open.

"I'll be back," I say as Nathalie moves to the side, so I could walk pass.

Jogging up the sidewalk, I climb the stairs to the second level.
Turning a bit, I face my front door. Grabbing the door, I place my house key in turning it a bit.

When I open my door, I grab my doorstone and place it by the door as I hear footsteps
Turning around, I see LC caryying a few boxes.

"When you go in, the living room is on your left," I say as I head down the stairs.

"Ok," LC says as I see Nathalie coming up.
She is carrying a few boxes as well.

"It's to your left when you walk in," I say.

"Thanks," Nat says.

Walking down the sidewalk, I head back to my car.
As I come up to it, the trunk door is closed, so I turn to LC's corvette.
Opening the passinger side door, I kneel down to move the seat forward.
Grabbing the bigger box, I climb out of the car.

"You need help, Aaylah?" LC asks.

"No I can make it," I say as I look below me.
I know where I am going.
I then climb up, step by step until I got to the top

Turning, I walk striaght into my aparetment.
Walkig into it, I place the box in the kicthen as I see LC and Nat bring inthe final box.

"We're done. It feels shorted unloading then loading," LC says.

"You said it," I say as I fall onto a kicthen chair.

"You two planning to unload tonight?" Nat asks.

"No, we will do it tomorrow after school. I can't move," I say.

"That's probably a good idea," Nathalie says.


After a few minutes of rest, I stood back up as I look at the time.

"Dang it's still early and I'm tired," I say.

"We're both tired," LC says.

"Well before you girls pass out, can you take me home?"Nat asks.

"Oh yeah," I say, grabbing my keys from the table as I feel Sidney's keys touch my leg as I grab my keys.

"Let's go ahead and go," I say as Nat heads out the door with mself behind her.

"You live in a very well place, Aaylah," Nat says as I follow her down the stairs.

"Thank you. I've been living here for awhile. Sometimes it gets loud," I say.

"It will be louder now," LC says as I step off the last stair.
I smile.

"You want to sit up front Nat?" LC asks as we head down the sidewalk to my car.

"You can have it LC," Nat says as she gets on the right and me walking over to the left side.

"You have it," LC says.

'Alright thank you," Nat says as I open my car door.
Climbing into the car, I grab the door shutting it behind me.
I then place my key into the car as I turn it on.
the sound of the engine begins to humm.

Placing my seatbelt on, Nat and LC close their doors at the sametime.

"You have a nice car," Nat says.

'Thank you," I say as I look behind me, turning on the car lights.
Then I place the car into reverse, pulling it out of the parking place. I quickly place it into drive, driving pass the building to the main road.

"Here come the twists," LC says as I place on my left blinker, turning.

"I can't believe the turns through here," Nat says as I turn.

"Neither can I," I say
I've lived in twists, turns, all my life.
It is worst from getting from my school to home, then going from my apartment to the Lemieux's house.
I love to er at night, used to do it all the time with dad and even Jack.


Taking one turn, I am now on the Lemieux's street.

"Only one turn left," LC says as I turn on my right blinker, turning into the Lemieuxs' driveway.

"Thank you for the ride Aaylah. I'll see you girls later," Nat says as I stop bythe front door.

"Bye Nat," LC says as Nat got out.

'You getting up front LC?" Nat asks poking her head in.

"Yes," LC says as I turn my head to her getting the door.
LC then sits next to me as she closes the door.

"Ready to go home?" I ask.

"Yes," LC says.
Again I place the car in reverse as I back out of the driveway.

"Anything coming your way?" I ask as I turn to the left.

"No it's all clear," LC says as I contuine all the way out
Quickly placing it int driver, I turn the wheel as I head down the road.

"Did you and Nat grab my bag?" I ask.

"Yes, its on the couch," LC says.

"alright," I say, turning to the right.

"Ok where am I going to sleep at tonight?" LC asks.

"On my fold out couch, so we are going to have to move your boxes either into your toom ot the kicthen area," I say.

"Ok,I'm ready to pass out,"

"You and me both, I'm glad I have no practice tomorrow,"

I then turn on my road, then again into my apartment complex.

"Finally no more turns," LC says as I turn once again.

"Now its no more turns," I say, smilinn.

Driving down to my building, I turn into a parking place right in front of my building.
Then I turn off my car, pulling out the keys.

"Now our day is over. No more running around," I say as I open my door to get out.

"Yeah I agree," LC says as I get out of my car, closing the car door.

"Let's head on in and move those boxes," I say walking up onto the sidewalk.

"Yes finally," LC says as I walk to the building.

I just smile, as we begin to walk inbetween my apartment building.

'so did Colby call you?" I ask, going up the stairs.

"Yes, he left a sweet message on my phone. I love that man. Did Siddy call you?" LC asks causing me to laugh.

"Yes he called me, saying that he landed safetly in New Jersey," I say as we reach the top of the stairs.
Turning a little, I walk ahead of LC, as I place my key into the door turning it.

Pulling my keys out, I open the door.

"One more task," I say as I walk in.

"No," LC says as I grab my bag from off the couch.
I then walk over to my table, grabbing two door handles, opening my landruy room.
Placing the bag onto the dryer, I close the doors.

"Nice little landry room," LC says as I walk back over to her.

"Thanks, now let me take these off and we can begin to move," I say, slipping off my tennis shoes.
My feet hurt so badly.

'Ok, are we moving then into the kicthen or in my new room?" LC asks.

"Let's move then into the room, so we can get it out of the way," I say.

"Ok big boxes first?"

"Yeah,"
I grab one end of a box as LC grabs the other end.

"It's the first room on the left," I say ,so she knows wheres to turn at since she is walking backwards.

"Ok," LC says as we begin walking.
Turning we walk intothe room, which is the smallest room in the apartment.

"Set it down," LC says as I did.

"Thank you, so is this room alright?" I ask.

"Yes," LC says.

It was an empty room.

"I should have took sid's spare bed," LC says as we laugh, heading out of the room to get the rest of the boxes in here.


15 minutes later

I sit on the couch

"I hate to move things," I say.

'Me too. It was twice as bad going from Sweden to over here," LC says as she sits beside me.
I don't wanna move at all.

"Let me go and get your covers before I forget," I say as I push off the couch to get up.
Walking down the hall, I stop at the end.
Opening the door, I kneel down to the lower shelf as I grab a red covers and a matching pillow to go along with it.

Standing back up, my legs begins to throb.
Walking back up front, I place them onto the couch.

"you going to bed?" LC asks.

"Yes, Im exhausted and I have classes tomorrow. So your welcome to anything that is here," I say

"Ok see you in the morning," LC says.

"Alright night," I say.

"Night Aaylah," LC says.

I turn around and walk straight into my bedroom.

Closing the door, I head over to my bed as I fall onto it.
Feeling a pain in my side, I reach into my pocket to pull out my cell phone and Sidney's keys.
Turning over, i place them onto the table.
Grabbing the covers, I pull them around me as i let my head hit the pillow.
Slowly I close my eyes.

Will it be you?- Chapter 25 (Part 2)

I'm so sorry for the delay.
I have been busy lot with working on school work and being a helper to my mom.
So there will be another part to this chapter and it should be the last part for this chapter. Then it's on to chapter 26.

The driveway has a few cars off to the side it, looks like a mini parking lot with 3 cars like that in a row. One car I notice is Sidney's sliver Range Rover.
Guess the Pens practice was shoter then mine.
I turn and park beside Sid's Rover as another car comes from behide. The car parks on my right side of my car.

"Colby!!!" LC exclaims as she quickly unbuckles to get out of the car.
I just smile as I open mu car door.
Grabbing my cell phone, I climb out of my car.

"Yeah I'm going with Sid to the airport, so my car will be left here," I hear Colby say as I close my car door, quietly.
I see them then walk around the front of my car as I hear a "hey"
Turning behide me, I see Sidney walking off the front proch with a bag on his shoulders.

"Hi Sid," LC says as Sidney heads across the grass to where we all where standing at.
He smiles as he places hhis bag down as he comes over to me and kisses my cheek.

"How did your training go today?" Sidney asks as Colby and LC just stare at us.

"It was so hard. Coach Ginger pushed me harder then anyone else on the team. Maybe it's because I'm a rookie. How was your practice?" I ask.

"It wasn't as bad as your was. It was alright, we just played mini games most of the time,"

"Sounds more fun then mine," I say as I laugh.

"Yeah but you'll get to have fun with your team too,"
Smiling, I watch as Sid turns around and walks back to his Rover.

"Got your bags Army?" Sid asks as Colby made a funny face.

"Oh yeah," Colby says as me and LC begin to laugh, as Colby goes to grab his bag.
I just watch Sidney as he opens his trunk to place his bag into the car.

"Your looking at his ass," LC whispers into my ear.

"I am not. Jeez," I say, causing both of us to laugh.

"What are you two laughing about?" Sid asks as he turns around to face us.

"Nothing," LC says as Colby reappears with his bag on his shoulder.
Army walks over to Sid's car as he places his bag in, closing the trunk door as well.

"So when do you guys leave?" I asks as they both walk over to us.

"About five we have to leave. Plane leaves at six to New Jersey," Sidney says.

"Ok, so what can we do for the next two hours?" LC asks.

"We can just hangout until four then we all can head out for dinner if you girls would want that," Colby says.

"I like that, some downtime before you guys leave, so will you leave from the restaurant or here?" LC asks as we cross the drive to the front yard.

"We'll probably leave after we eat," Sid says.

"So what are we going to do now?" LC asks as we all walk up the porch steps to the covered porch.
Then out of no where, rain begins to pour down onto the porch covering.
I look around as a cold burst of wind comes by.

"Let's head inside the house," Sid says as I am right behind him
He opens the door as I move in first.
I then walk down the few steps into the house.

"So what are we going to do now?" LC asks as we all head down the hall into the Lemieux's TV room.

As I turn around, Sidney is turning on the fireplace.

"We can make some hot cocoa to warm up," Sidney says.

"And we can play a game too by the fireplace," I say.

"Good ideas, we will go make the cocoa as you two set up the game and table," LC says as she grabs my hand pulling me with her.
Going up a small step, we walk into "Nathalie's" kicthen.

"So do you know where everything is at?" I ask.

"Yep, as long as they didn't move anything on me last time I was here. I'll go grab the cups as you fill them up, placing them into the mircowave. I'll then grab the packets. We both will make two,one for us the other for our men," LC says as she smiles.

"Alright sounds like a plan," I say.
I watch as she grabs four coffee cups( two tall ones and two that have the Pens logo on it) and sets them on the countier by me.

"Tall ones are for us and the Penguins for them," LC says as I begin to laugh a little.
So I take two fill them up then place them into the mircowave as I fill up the other two.
As the mircowave goes off, I turn to see LC getting then as I grab the other two off the countier and place them in.

"You want diet, rich chocolate, or milk chocolate?" LC asks as she stirs one of the packets into one of her cups.

"Milk Chocolate," I say, laughing.
She then places two packets onto the countier beside her.

Opening the mircowave door, I grab both cups as I quickly carry the hot cups over to the countier.
Setting the cups down, I grba one of the cocoa packets and rip it open.
The smell of the chocolate fills the air as I pour the packet into the Penguin logo cup.
I see a few spoons on the countier so before I grab one I ask" Did you place the sppons on the countier?"

"Yep" LC says as I pick one up to stir up the mix into the hot water.
After that one is mixed, I do the same for the taller cup.

"You ready?" LC asks.
I take out the spoon from the cup and place it into the sink.

"Yep," I say grabbing the cups that I made.
I follow LC out of the kicthen and head to the TV room.
Walking into the TV room, I seen that the boys had move the big coffee table near the fireplace.
On the table is a game and under the table were pillows

"Nice set up guys," I say as I walk over to the table.

"Thank you, which one is mine?" Sid asks as he gets up from off the floor.

"The Penguins one," I say.

Sid smiles saying" I should have known," as he takes the cup from my hand into his.
I then place my other hand on my cup.

"Who wants to be where?" Colby asks.
I want to be the closet to the fireplace.

"I want in front of the fireplace," LC says before I could say anything.

"Ok then I'll sit here," Colby says as he takes the end that was the closet to Sid's wing.

"Which spot do you want babe?" Sid asks.

"I'll take the end," I say as I carefully with my cocoa sit down.
When I got comfy, and sitting down, Colby places a deck of cards and uno onto the table.

"You picked card games?" I asks as we all begin to laugh.

"Yes, I like card games," colby says.

"Uno," Sid says as he flashes his smiles.
I breathe in.

"I'm in for Uno too,"I say
I then look at LC.

"Uno it is," LC says as Colby throws the deck of cards on the ground as he brougt up a spinner.

"UNO spin," Colby says in a deep voice.
Sidney shakes his head as he grabs the deck of cards.

"So who goes first?" LC asks.

"Colby does, he's left of the dealer," I say.
I've played this games alot, so I know all the rules mostly.

"Okie dokie," Colby says in response for LC.
LC then sliently hits him, causing a laught to up roar.
Sid then passes out five cards to all of us including himself.

My hands sucks, I have all greens as Sid flips over and puts a yellow eight as the starter card.

"Damn you Crosby," Army says as he began to draw.
This is going to be a long game.

About 45 minutes later, it is down to me and Colby for the win.

A read seven had just been placed down, so I have one card left, my victory card.

"Skip you and I win," I say as I watch Army's reactiong. He is so funny.

"I got beat by a girl," Colby says.

"I should have told you, I've played UNO all my life," I say.

"No wonder, let's play some poker," Colby says as he gets up to grab the other cards from off the floor.

"No Colby, we're playing UNO," LC says as Colby turns around and parks his butt where he got up from.

"Alright," Colby says in a whiney voice.
I grab the cards.

"I gotta deal, so Sid goes first," I say as I shuffle up the cards.

"Ok," Sid says as I pass out fives cards to each person.
I then flip over a read one to begin the game with.

"Darn it babe, you could have gave me green," Sid says as I smile

As everyone takes a turn, I see LC pushing Colby away from her.

"Don't touch my feet with your cold hands," LC says as I began to watch them.

"But, I love your feet," Colby says as I being to laugh.
Then I see LC getting up ready to attack.

"NO!!" Colby says as he shot up running.

"Get back here Armstrong!!!" LC exclaims as I hear Sid loud pitch laugh, causing me to luahg harder.
Paying my attention on Colby and LC, something hits my head.
Turning to Sid, he had this big grin on his face.

"Your going to get it Siddy," I say as Sid got up the sametime as I get up.

He took off as I follow him into the hall.
As I reach the stairs, I got up one but then I lose my footing causing me to fall down.

"Ouch," I say as I grab my knee, which is in needle like pain.

"You ok babe?" Sid asks as I look up to see him standing beside me.

"Yeah, I just didn't watch where I was going," I say

"Let me help you up," Sid says as I feel his hands on my waist.
Then he just helps me up onto my two feet.

"You alright Aaylah?" LC asks as she was in Colby's arms.
That brought a smile on my face seeing those two together.

"Yeah, I'm alright," I says as they walk ahead of us.
Sid holds my hand as we head back into the TV room behide Colby and LC.

"What time is it?" Colby asks.
I see Sid looking down at his rolex watch.

"3:30, we better begin to clean up," Sid says.
He let go of my hand as I walk and pick up the cups from off the table.
LC is picking up the pillows.
Walking from the TV room, I pass the dining room to walk up the one step into the kicthen. Going over to the sink, I turn on the water as I fill all four cups up with water.
Setting them down, I head out of there and back to the TV room.
As I walk, I see Sid and Colby lifting up the table to place it back by the couch.

"We're done," Colby says as I walk into the TV room area.

"Not yet," Sid says as I see this weird look on Colby's face
Sid walks over to the fireplace and presses the button like he did when we came in.

"Now we are done," Sid says.

"Ok, let's go eat," Colby says as I walk behide Sid as he leads the way to the front door.
As we reach the front door, a loud boom of thunder sounds.

"I hate storms," I say.
A hand grabs mine.

"You'll be alright," Sid says as he grabs an umberllia by the front door.

"Aren't those Marios and the kids?" LC asks as Sid opens the door, letting the cold wind hit against us.

"Yeah but I'll return them to him," Sid says as I follow him onto the porch, he opens the umberilla.

"Come on babe," Sid says as I turn seeing Colby and LC under another umberilla.
I get beside Sid as I wrap one of my arms around him.

"Who is sitting where?" Colby asks.

"You and LC in the back and yes all the doors are unlocked," Sid says as I stare out into the pouring rain.

"Ready babe?" Sid asks.

"Yes," I say.

"On three we run together. 1,2,3," Sid says as we head off the porch, running to his Range Rover.
As we get to it Sidney says" I'm gonna get up in first!"
I run beside him to the right side as he opens the door.

"Thanks," I says as I quickly get into the car.
Sid shuts the door as I watch him sprint to the driver side door.
As he opebs his door to climb in, I grab my seatbelt to buckle up.

"Ok that's done," Sid says as he shakes off his umberilla as he places it inbetween the seats.

"Did you get wet LC?" Colby asks as I hear the back door close.

"Nope, thanks for the protection," LC says.
Sid looks at me as he began his car up.

"Seatbelts," Sid says as he grabs his to cross his chest.
I look behind me as Colby and LC were leaning on one another.

"Yes dad," Colby says causing me to smile a bit.

"Alright," Sid says as I watch him back out.

He backs out as we turns the wheel to head out of the driveway
Stopping at the end, I watch as he looks both ways the turning to the left.

"So what does everyone want?" Sid asks.

"How about a buffet?" Colby asks.

"I could go for that too," I say.
I didn't want TGI Friday's again.

"Sounds good to me too," LC says.

"Alright Ryan's or Golden Correl?" Sid asks as he turns the car.

"Ryan's," I say.
I love their buns and butter spreading.

"No Golden Correl. Their food is better," Colby says.

"No it isn't Army," I say..

"Too,"Colby says.

"Which one do you want LC?" sid asks.

"Doesn't matter to me," LC says

"Ok then I'm making it," Sid says as he turns into a Ryan's parking lot.
Yes I won.

"Man you suck Crosby," Colby says as he slightly hits Sid's head.
Sid begins to laugh as he pulls into a parking place.

Will it be you?- Chapter 25(Part1)

"Aaylah get up babe, it's 7 o'clock," I hear Sid saying.
Rolling over, I open my eyes to see him looking down at me.

"Morning, i'm your alarm clock," Sid says as I smile and sit up in the bed.

"Thanks Sid," I say as I get up from the bed heading over to my bag.
Kneeling beside it, I unzip it and pull out a pink sweate.

"Your just changing your shirt?"

"Yes, there is no need to change my jeans. I haven't even been in them for 24 hours,'

"Yeah thats true. What would you like for breakfest?"

"Just a pop tart if you have it,"

"Ok,"
He smiles as he opens the door then closes the door as he walks out.
Shaking my head, I stand up and take off my jersey as I throw it on my bag as I place the pink sweater on.
Since i had my hockey clothes in the car, why not wear this.
I then I put the jersey in as I take out my brush to put my hair up.
Placing that back in, i grab out my tennis shoes as I zip it up for the final time.
Opening Sid's bedroom door, I walk out as I head to the living room.
No one was up, so I sat down quietly as I begin to put on my shoes as I hear the door opening.
i look up to see Sidney standing there with my pop tarts in one hand and a water in the other.\\

"This ok?" Sid asks as he comes around as he sets the items down to sit beside me.

"It's fine. We are going to have another date soon," I say as I finish tieing up my shoes.

"Yeah we diffenately are. So what time are you leaving?"
I look up at the clock thats reads 7:10.

"In five minutes," I say as I begin to eat.

"Alright, good luck in your first pratice,"

"You too Sid," i say as I swallow my food.

"Sorry about that,"

"Your fine babe,"
After I ate my last bite, I stood up as Sid does as well.

"Well I gotta go, so I'll see you later one before you leave tonight," I say.

"Alright. See you later," Sid says as he gives mme a kiss.

"Bye,"
I then open the door and walk out of his wing to the main house.
Walking through the halls, i find the front door.
As I open it, i hear foot steps from behide me.
turning around I see Sidney standing there.

"My bag is in your car. I didn't get it out last night," Sid says.

"Its ok. Follow me," I say as I smile as we head out of the house together.
Walking over to my car, I take out my keys from my pocket as I unlock the trunk.
Sidney leans in to grab his Penguins logo bag as he closes it.

"Thanks babe. See you later on after pratice," Sid says as he kisses me.

"When is your over?"I ask.

"About 1 to 1:30. do you know yours?"

"Not yet but I will,"

"alright call me to tell me,"

"Will do. Bye Sidney,"

"Bye Aaylah,"

I smile as i head over my car door.
Using my keys, I unlock the door and sit down into the drivers seat.
I began the car up as I close the door and buckle up.
Putting it into reverse, I back out the place it in drive to drive to the end of the driveway.
I then turn left as I head down to Southpointe rink.

Since it is going to be a long ride, I lean over alitte to turn on the radio to some music that will get me motiviated for pratice.


35 minutes later
I pull into the parking lot and i turn and park in my normal spot by the building.
turning off the car, I get out and head to the back of the car.
Taking my keys, i unlock the trunk and grab my hockey bag and one hockey stick.
I close it as i place the bag on my shoulders as i head onto the sidewalk.
Taking a deep breath, i open the door and walk in.

"Morning Aaylah, praticing?" Mark asks.

"Yeah but with my new team," I say.

"Congrats. The tigers are in the backrink, not the bigger rink. The Penguins will be in that one,"

"alright,see ya later.

"Enjoy your pratice,"

I head back to the last rink, I turn as an older lady turns around to look at me.

"Hello there. you part of the Pittsburgh Tigers?" she asks.

"Yes," i reply.

"Well i'm Coach Ginger. Who are you misses?" coach asks.

"Aaylah Thomason," i say.
She smiles as she hands me an ungly orange jersey.

"You are playing center today," she says.

"alright, is there any changing rooms around here?" I ask.

"yes right behide you. You can just leave your things in there,"

"Ok, thank you,"

I then turn around and walk over tothe dressing rooms.
Walking in, I saw a empty stall in front of me, so I walk on in and close the door.
Putting my bag on the ground and my stick in the corner, I sesure the door by locking it.
Kneeling down I put the jersey on the bench like thing, then I turn around unzipping my bag.

I pull out my shoulder pads, pads, helmet, my hockey bottoms, gears and of course my skates.

Changing from my jeans and sweater, I got in all my gear, which this is only my second time beinging in it.
Then i place all my stuff into the bag and zip it up.
Taking the orange jersey off the bench, I place it over my head as I look into the mirror.

I couldn't believe I am on a actual hockey team.

Bending over, I pick up my helmet(well sids helmet) and I place it on over my head.
It was loose but I didn't mind.

Grabbing my stick, i open the dressing room door and head out of the room the nacross the way to where the team is praticing at.

"Go ahead and warm up, Thomason," Coach Ginger says.
I nod my head as I hop onto the ice as I begin a skating routine that i normally do when I get onto the ice.

After I skate for a bit, I go over to a few girls who are shooting pucks.

"Can I shoot too?" I ask.

"Sure, I'm amy by the way and this is Ally and Melissa. Oh and our goalie, Haley," Amy says.

"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Aaylah," I say as I get into the back of the line.

"Nice to have you on our team, let's see what you got," amysays as she pushes the puck over to me.

Looking at Haley, I begin to pick up speed as I capture the puck on my stick as I whiz through Haley.
She is looking at me as I found a hole and shot the puck into the net.

"Wow that impressive,"
I skate around to face them.

"Thank you. My boyfriend showed me that. He's a hockey player too," I say.

"Well tell him thaks,"

Then a whisle blew as I skate behide the girls over to the side.

"Welcome returning and new Tigers. I'm pleases to say I can't wait to our season which begins on Saturday, so we will be meeting here for a bit. Our next practice is friday at 2 and Saturday before the game at 12, game is at 2.We will be playing at Mellon Arena on Saturday. So let's begin practicing. Ok team one is Thomason center, Johnson left wing, Knight right wing, Nichols and Sanderson defense and Haley as goalie. Second team is Sadler center, Malone right wing, Havens left wing, Stewart and Meyers defense and goalie is jacki,"

I skate over to center ice as I see Amy, Ally and Melissa are on my team.
I turn around as I get in position as a refree comes over.
I look at the puck and place my stick were it goes on the ice.
I was getting excited to actually play on a team.

"Ok 30 minutes a game. Begin!"

the puck drops as I pass it to skate up the line near the goalie.

"Pass it!!" I exclaim as Amy passes it to me as I skate but before I knew it, I am on the ice.

"Stewart box, 2 minutes checking. You ok Thomason," Coach asks as she comes onto the ice.

"Yeah I'm fine," I say as I get up and head for center ice to begin again.

About three hours later, I come skating off the ice beside the benches.

"Good work this morning ladies. I would like to see you back here at noon for training outside. We will meet at the University of Pittsburgh stadium which means Heniz field at the front door.
Get you something to eat and I'll see you at Heniz field in a couple hours," Coach says.

I begin to walk as I hear "Aaylah wait up,"
Looking behide me, I see Amy walking up.

"Nice prctice today. You play pretty good," Amy says.

"Thank you, you play well too," I say.

"thanks would you like to grab some lunch with me a few ofthe girls from the team?"

I look up at the clock, it was 10:45 and I didn't have anything planned today but, maybe going to see Sid practing for his game tomorrow.

"Sure why not. I need to know my teammates,"

"Ok meet in the lobby in say 7 minutes. that ok?"

"Yep, I'll be there,"

I head back into the room I once occupied when i had changed the first time.
Closing the door, I sit down on the bench and placing my stick down as I lift my bag onto my lap.
Unzipping it, I pull out my pink sweater, jeans, and tennis shoes and place them onto te floor as I set it down as I unlace my skates.
As I take them off I place the guards onto the them. I put them into the bag as I begin to strip from my hockey uniform.
Placing everything into my bag, I zip it up and change back into my normal clothes and shoes.

After changing, I pick up my bag from off the floor and place it on my shoulder as I grab my hockey stick.
I head out of the room and head tothe front lobby.

Walking back out to the lobby, I see Amy and a few of the girls standing there.
Taking a deep breath, i walk over to the girls.

"Seven minutes flat, nice. So since we are heading to Pittsburgh, where should we eat at?" Amy asks.

"How about to TGI Fridays on the North Shore by Heniz Field? It has a good river view," I say.

"Ok sounds good Aaylah. Oh this is Jacki, Jessica Sadler and Kkik Malone. Girls this is our new forward Aaylah Thomason," Amy says.

"Nice to meet you all," I say.

"You too. Welcome to the team Aaylah," Jessica, the blonde says.

"Thank you,"

"So what are driving arrangements going to be? All in one car?" Haley asks.

"Um well I can fit four people into my car and someone else will have to drive their car too so we all can get there," Amy says.

"I have to exclude myself. I have to pick up a friend after training," I say.

"Alright thats fine. Wait, one of us could ride with you and come back here with the other car," Haley says.

"That's a good idea Haley, so do you wantto tag along with her to the resarant?" Amy asks.

"Yeah I'll ride with here to the resturant," Haley says.

After a few more minutes of talking, they figured out who the second driver would be.
I then walk out of the door to the outside air of November.

"So which car is yours Aaylah?" Haley asks.

"The black BMW by the building to your right," I say as I head over to my car.

"Pretty nice car, how did you get this spot by the building cause I can't get this good of spot," Haley says as I head to the back of the car.

"I don't really know. I normally park here whenever I come to practice by myself," I say, opening the trunk up as I place my hockey bag and stick in.
When everything is in, I close the lid and heading to the driver's door.
Using my keys again, I unlock the car, which automatically unlocks all the doors as i use the keys.

"Go ahead and get in Haley. It's unlocke," I say as I climb into the car and began it up, closing the door.

"Nice interior. It's better then my cars interior," Haley says.

"I love the car, it works nicely,"

Turning around a little, I look both ways as I pull out out of my parking place and turn the wheel as I drive to the exit.
Flipping my blinker on, I turn right heading to downtown Pittsburgh.

"So where are you from Aaylah?" Haley asks.

"Pittsburgh, I've lived here my whole life. I am probably going to die here too. What about you?" I ask.

"Cleveland, Ohio. Don't beat me up,"
She begins to laugh as I laugh along side her.

"I won't do that. I'm too nice, so when did you decide to become a goalie?"

"Ally my life. My father played goalie in the AHL since the time I was born until he died five years ago,"

"Aww that's sad but, the good thing is that your a goalie for a good team,"

"Thanks, so when did you want to become a hockey player?"

"Actually I wanted to become on after my father died in 2002. Him and I would for hors just watch hockey and nothing but,"

"Aww, so actually when did you become a player?"

"About three and a half weeks ago,"

"Wow your a fast learner,"

"Yeah and i head some help from my boyfriend,"

"Aww that's nice of him to do that,"

"Yeah, I thank him alot for helping me. He was the one who go the try-out for the team,"

"I'm glad he did. We needed you,"

We begin to laugh as we just countine to talk somemore.

35 more minutes of driving later, I pull into the river front TGI Friday's by Heinz Field.
As Haley gets out of the car, the girls began to drive into the parking lot.

"Their here. They must have followed you," Haley says as I grab my keys out of the ignite and climb out of the car.
Closing thedoor shut, I head from theblack top the the concerte sidewalk.
As I look up, Amy was getting out of her car.

"I never knew this was even here," Melissa says as she follows Amy and a few others onto the sidewalk.

"I found it the other day when I was out here last," I say.

"Well let's not just stand here. Let's head inside. I'm straving," Ally says.

"Alright, I'm paying for todays lunch," Amy says as we head into the building, one following the other.

"You don't have to pay for me Amy. I can do it," I say as i get up beside her.

"It's alright Aaylah. We all pay for at least one dinner or lunch whenever we go out," Amy says.

"Well I'll feel bad if I let you pay for my lunch, when i have my own money,"

"Alright since your new, you can pay for your own but be warned, whoever is paying next pays for you to,"

"Alright,"
I give a quick smile.

"How many do we have today?" A waiterss asks.

"We have eight today but we have one paying for herself today," Amy says.

"Alright that is fine. Let me show you all to your table," she says as she leds us into the building as we head to a large table.

"A Waitor will be with you soon,"
She walks away as i sit inbetween Haley and Amy.

"So Aaylah since your new to our team, tell us a little about yourself," Jessica says.

"Ok, the first thing my name is Aaylah Thomason. I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. I have no slibings, only child is what i am. I am majoring a career for Early Childhood at the Community College of Allageny County. I like to read and write, i know I'm lame. I live life as I comes, not like year after years. Been an hockey fan all my life, well a Penguins fan all my life. I was a big fan of Mario Lemieux. Hockey became more important when my father passed away in 2002 and I've only been playing for three and a half weeks," I say, thinking it wasn't too personal.

"Three weeks?!" Kiki says.

"Yep i know it's a short time but, I've been getting help with it and all," I say.

"Well welcome to the team Aaylah. We are thankful to have you," Amy says as a waiter walks over to us.

"Hello ladies, here are your menus. What would you all like to drink?" he asks.

"Water," I say as i open my menus to look at it.
I might get the chicken style pasta.

"Ok I'll be back with your drinks,"
He walks off.

"So can you tell me about yourselfs?" I ask.

"Sure we can. I'll begin," Amy says.

As each girl goes, I got to know them much better but, before their intros were over the waiter walks out with someone to help him pass out our food.
It looks so good, as the waiter places it infront of me.
As I ate, I began to think about my 'hockey' life that I've been through since the day I was born.
The first pictures of myself, I was sitting in my dad's lap with a baby sized Mario Lemieux shirt on.
That picture always makes me smile.

I place my fork down as i look up at the clock that reads 11:53.
Training begins in seven minutes.

"Hey girls, dont we have training in a few minutes?" i ask.
Amy turns her head around.

"Yep, we better head on out so the coach doesn't yell at us too much," Amy says as she grabs the bigger recept out of the two as I grab the smaller one.
I get up from the chair i was sitting in and pushed it in as I follow Amy to the checkout line.
the other girls just walk pass us to go outside the door.

"Ma'am I can take you over here," A lady says as i move pass Amy and head to the register that was in front of her.
I hand the paper to her as i reach in my back pocket grabbing a twenty dollar bill that i knew was there.

"11.50," she says as i hand her the twenty.

"See you at training Aaylah, do you want me and Kiki to wait on you?" Amy asks.

"Please, so i can just follow or lead you guys in," i say.

"alright," Amy says as she walks out of the resturant.

"Eight dollars and fifty cents is your change. Have a great day,"

"Thank you too,"
I then fold the money and place it into my pocket as I head out of the door.
Grabbing my keys from my pocket, I turn to my right and head down off to the sidewalk to my car.
I unlock my door as I climb onto my combfy seats of my seat.
Placing the keys into the inginte, I grab my door hand and close my door shut.
I grab my seat belt from behide me as I cross it over my chest to clip it into place.
Looking both ways of the parking lot, I place my car into reverse as i slowly back out of my parking space.
Turning the wheel, I move it into drive as I drive to the back end of Amy's car.
I then hit my car horn to let them know that it was me.
Kiki began to move as she, Amy, and myself get into the left turning lane.
I flick on my left blinker, as the light turns to the green arrow.
Taking both of my hands, I grab the wheel and turn it to the left as i left it slip smoothly through my hands.
Since the field wasn't too far away, I figure I shouldn't turn on the radio.
To my left, I see the Carigene Science center and looking head is Heniz Field on my right side.
As the traffic light comes up, Amy's flicks on her right blinker as I turn on my mine, driving over to the far right lane.
Turning the wheel to thr right, I got onto the street then I take a sharp left into the parking lot.
The parking lot was not really full at all.
Turning to the left, I slowly park into a front parking place by the field.
Shutting off my car, I remove the keys and unbuckle.
I get out of the car, as I see the others doing the same.

"Hey Aaylah, do you have anyworkout clothes?" Ally asks.

"I dont know. Hold on," I say as I walk to the back of my car.
Using my keys, I pop open the trunk.
I see my bag and some clothes off to the side of it, so I pick them only to fine one outift of clothes.

"Yeah I do but only one pair," I say as I close the trunk with my clothes in my hand.

"Alright," ally says.

Walking in between the cars, i hop onto the sidewalk that would lead me to the field.
I see most of the girls on the sidwalk as Kiki jumps onto the walk.

"Let's get moving before coach has out heads," Amy says as I get beside Haley.

"Youready for your first intense training?" Haley asks as we follow the girls into the double doors.

"Yeah i think I can handle it," I say.

"Alright be prepared to have an ache somewhere on your body," Haley says as we walk through another set of doors as we begin walking onto the green field.
Looking up, all I see is the yellow seats the the blue sky.
Walking more in, I see the coach by the benches.

"Come on girls get in here. We've been waiting for you," Coach says as we all jog a little to make our way over to the benches.
We follow one another and sat down on the bench by our other three teammates.

"Ok I know a few of you are new, so today we will have my friend, charlie in here and we'll be doing things just like in the military so I'll be paring you up. So go change and meet me in center field, so we can begin," Coach Ginger says.
I get off the bench as I follow right behide Haley so I can find out where the changing room was.

Walkig into the same doors as before, I turn left as I walk into a room with stalla.
Passing the stalls, I walk into a room with dividers.
I got into the first stall and close the door behide me.

"Wait in the locker room after you all change," I hear Amy say.
Placing the clothes onto the bench, I strip from my sweater and jeans.
Grabbing my other clothes, I put on a black apri of exercising shorts and a purple shirt that says "Hockey Queen" on it.
Picking up my other clothes, i place them on this short bench as I open the door.
Walking out of that room and into the bigger locker room are with detailed Steeler logos.

"Nice shirt Aaylah," Jessica says.

"Thank you, my mom made it for me," i say, trying not to cry.

"You have an awesome mom, mine wouldn't do that,"

"Yeah alot of mom's done,"
I couldn't reveal my pain to people who are so new to me.

As a few minutes pass, everyone has made their way into the locker room.

"Let's move out," Amy says as we follow her out and back to the field.
Walking out this time, I see a few different things as we head to center field.

"Ok ladies we have a schedule today. So let's begin by running 10 times around the field. Go!," She says as she blew the whisle.
I begin to jog from center to the side.
This isn't going to be so hard.
As I contiune to run, I am thinking about my father and how proud he would be of me..

Dream
"Hey daddy," I say as I walk up to him as he is sitting down on our old looking porc.

"This is my hockey queen," Dad says as I sit beside him.

"Oh daddy. I have something to tell you,"

"Well go ahead and tell me. Hope it is good news,"

"It is. I made it on a women's hockey team,"

"That's fantastic babygirl. I'm so proud of you," Dad says as we both get up so he could hug me.
He is s proud of me.


"Come on Aaylah," Jessica says as I try to make the past up as I go pass the beginning to stop.

For the rest of the practice was so intense that it's painful to me.

"Bring it in girls," Coach says as I slowly begin my walk back to her, which she is all the way in center field.

Reaching center field, i fall down beside Haley.

"Bery good training work today. I want to make another training for tomorrow but, I'm not. So we will meet Friday at 2pm, the Pointe. Then be at Mellon Arena by noon on Saturday so we can have a practce before the game at 2:30. Go ahead and change.
Have a great rest of the day. Desmissed,"

Slowly getting up from off the ground, i head slowly to the locker room behide a few of the girls.
Reaching the door, i walk into the room.
I then walk over the stall/changing area.
Walking into the same stall, I close the door.
Slowly, I change from my exercising clothes back into my jeans and sweater.
Zipping up my sweater, I grab my dirty clothes and open the stall door and walk out.
I then walk into the big locker room to see the clock on the wall reads 1:05.

"See you on Friday Aaylah. It was a good day today," Haley says.

"See ya then, bye," I say to everyone as i head out of the locker room.
I walk back out the way that i came in.
Pushing open the double doors, I walk to the outside to see all the cars.
Walking down the sidewalk, I stop as I see my black car.
Turning down the driver side, I take out my keys to unlock the door.
Opening it up, I quickly get in and shut the door.
Putting my keys into the car as I began it up, throwing my exercising clothes into the backseat.
Then i grab my seatbelt, to cross it over my shoulder and clip it into place beside me.
Before I place it into reverse, I lean over my passinger seat to grab my cell phone.
Opening it up, I dial LC's cell number as I place it up to my ear before i pull out.
Placing it into reverse, I look both ways as I turn the wheel to the left to back out.
Quickly I change it to drive.

"Hey Aaylah," Lc says.

"Hey I'm running a few minutes late, but i'm on my way," I say as I turn out on the road.
I then look as I hop into the right turning lane as I click on my blinker.

"That's ok, so how was practice?" LC asks as I right, heading for CCAC.

"Practice was good, so was training. The running was the worst part of today. How was school?" I ask.

"They were alright,"

"Ok well I should be at front soon,"

"Ok see you then,"
I hit end on my cell as I throw it onto my passinger seat.
As the time passes, I turn my right blinker one as I pull into the school lot.
Taking a left turn, I pull up into the front of the building as I see LC standing there.
Stopping the car, she smiles as she walks over and opens the door up.
I then lean over and grab my cell from off the seat as she gets into the car.

"You look tired," LC says as she closes her door.

"I am. My coach pushed me so much today in training," I say as I pull away from the curb as I head for the exit.

"When is your next practice?" LC asks as I turn left to the light.

"Friday at two. She is giving us a day off plus, I couldn't go tomorrow,"
I then turn the wheel to the right to end up on the road heading to the lemieux household.

"Yeah,you have classes right?" LC asks.

"Yep, classes on thrusdays and labs on Tuesdays," I say.

"Oh got ya, since your a junior/"

"Yep, i got an advanage,"

"Yes you do, so what are we going to do after our boys leave tonight?"

"We can pack your stuff up and move you into my apartment tonight,"

"Ok, thats a good idea cause I would be alone in sid's wing while he is gone and thats no fun,"

"Ok, then perfect timing," I say.

"Yeah, so what are we doing after classes tomorrow?" LC asks.

"We can do some food shopping cause i know that food is probably bad and then we can do homework.
Near game time we could order some food,"

"That sounds awesome,"

About 20 minutes later, I turn right and pull into the Lemieux driveway.

Update

no this isn't an update to the story.
I just want to let everyone know that it might be until the weekend until i get the new chapter up, so bare with me.
My life is kinda hecktic right now.

well in other news, I will be posting a brand new story come on Sunday afternoon, if the Penguins win their game, if not it will be posted on Monday evening.

Will it be you?- Chapter 24

"So you ready for tonight's game?" LC asks.

"I am," i say.

As it became quiet, LC says," Is Yvette going to be there?"

"I think she is coming, let me text her real quickly," I say as I take my phone out of my pocket as I open it, finding Vette's number, I begin to type
"Are u going to the game?"
I hit send and close my phone.

"We'll find out in a minute if's shes going or not," I say.
As Colby turns onto the main highway to get to Pittsburgh, I feel my phone ringing in my hand.
Opening my phone up I see
"I'm already at the arena with Geno. Are u coming?"
I hit reply and text, we are on our way there. Oh I found out when my first game is,"
Sending it off, I close my phone.

"She's already there," I say.

"Ok, so what are we going to do tomorrow when the boys leave?" LC asks.

"Pack up your things and move into my apartment. It would be the best time,"

"Yeah that's true. So you have no school tomorrow?"

"I only have classes on Tuesday and thrusdays. Tues is the lab and Thrus is the classes until 3,"

"Oh ok,"

15 minutes later, I look out of the window to see Mellon Arena.

"Where should I park Sid?" colby asks.

"In the back parking lot is fine with me," Sid says as Colby turns into the back parking lot and head to a empty space in the back.

"Here good everyone?"Colby asks.

"Yes," LC says as I hear Colby turning off the car.

"Let's head in there," Sid says as I smile.

"Go ahead and get out first aaylah,"Colby says.

"Thanks Army," I say as i open my door up and get out of the car.
Closing the door, i walk to the back as Sid and LC were already there.

"Ladies go ahead of us," Colby says as me and LC go ahead of the boys.

"Wonder what their talking about?" LC says.

"Who nose with those boys," I say as we both laugh.
Walking onto the sidewalk, we stood there as cars pass by.

"Go ahead, Jordan is letting us go," Sid says as I look over and wave to him as we all cross to the other side.

"He was nice t do that," LC says as we head to the backdoor.

"Good afternoon boys. how are you today?" A guard asks as he opens the door.

"Good, thanks. Oh the girls are with us," Colby says.

"Ok, go ahead in and good luck tonight,"he says.

"Thank you,"Sid says.
Walking into the building, it was a little chilly which I didn't mind at all.

"So where are we going first?" LC asks.

"To the lockerroom," Colby say.

"Go ahead of us then," LC says as Colby gets ahead of her as Sidney does the same but infront of me.

"Do you think Vette is in the locker room?" LC asks.

"Knowing her, she probably is since other girlfriends go in there as well," I say.

"Oh ok,"

Looking around, it feels weird to be back here.

"You ladies going in too?" Sidney asks as he opens the door up.

"Sure," LC say as they let us move in first.
Walking in to my surprise, Vette was talking to Vero.

"Hey Vette,Vero," I say as we head over to them.

"Hey girls remember Vero?" Vette asks.

"Yep, how are you today Vero?" I ask as I stand in between Vette and LC.

"I'm doing alright, I'm engaged," Vero says as she shows her hand up.

"Congratsulations Vero," Me and LC say.

"Thanks, I'm so excited for summer now,"

"I bet, so when should we head out?" Lc asks.

"We can now, what seats are you girls in?"

"Section 122. Behide the oppoents net," I say.

"What number?" Vette asks.

"I have row M seat 2," LC says.

"I'm in the same row but seat 3," I say.

"We're all in the same row cause I'm 4 and Vero is one,"

"Nice,"

"Let's go ahead and head out. Bye guys and good luck," Vero, me, Lc and Vette says as I smile seeing Sidney getting changed.

"Bye girls," I hear basically everyone says.
Vero opens the door as we all follow out and turn to the right.

"This is the faster way," Vero says.

As we reach our section, LC stops me and Vette.

"Go ahead in, I need to talk to them," LC says.

"Ok,"Vero says as she heads into the arena.
then I watch as LC pulls out three bracelets.

"Theses are for you two. Yu have been my best friends since I moved to Pittsburgh, so this is a present to say we'll be friends forever," Lc says as she hands me a bracelet with my name on it and had purple small diamonds around it.

"Aww thanks Lauren. Yu are a reallt great friend to me too," I say as I hug her.

"yeah yu are a pretty great friend. Glad you came here instead of Nova Scotia," vette says as shehugs her.

"Aww thanks guys. That means alot to me," LC says as each of us put our bracelets on our left wrists.

"Let's go in and enjoy thegame," I say as we all walk in and found our seats.

"Theses are great seats," LC says as I look out onto the ice.
Even those, we are behide the Rangers net, its still be the best seats in the house.

"Yeah they are. Are you guys ok?" Vero asks.

"Yeah, were good," LC says as the Boys of winter song came on as the lights dim.
As they did, I look at the titan tron above center ice, it is showing clips of all the games so far, which really wasn't many.
Then they show pictures of all the team.
I smile as each one of them come on including Sidney.
Then the stage lights begin moving around.

"Now yor Pittsburgh Penguins!!!"

Standing up, I clap as I see all the guys skating onto the ice.

"Yeah let's go get'em boys!!" LC exclaims as I look at the girls faces, everyone was excited as me.
As a few seconds pass the main players got in a line by center ice as I see Sidney bowing his head down.

"Please rise for the playing of the National anthem and the Canadian National anthem,"
As the National Anthem began, i place my hand over my heart as I look over to the American flag.
I'm glad to have been born in America.
Then as the National Anthem ends, the Canadian National anthem began.
I take my hand off my heart as I place my arms behide my back as I look down at Sidney.
He's head still down, makes me wonder what he is doing.
Then after it ends, I sit down in between Lc and Vette.

"This is going to be a good one girls!!" I say.

"Yep, Kick some butt PENS!!!" LC yells as we all laugh.
I watch as I turn my eyes onto the ice, as the puck drops.

"Get it sid!!" I yell as he grabs it and passes it.
Watching then head up to us, i smile as Geno gots the puck as he passes it to Colby as he shoots it in.

"Yeah baby thats it!!" LC yells as we all stand up.
Then I see Colby scanning the crowd as he blows a kiss to LC.

"Aww that's so sweet," Vero says as we sit back down.
That was so cute as I kept my eyes on Sidney but he head on the benches as Jordan Staal came out to take center.

As the game goes on, we scored 3 more goals. One by Geno and the other two by Sidney.
Then the buzzer goes off.
Penguins won 4 to 2 over the Rangers.

"Yes!!" I say as i stand up and hugging the girls in our victory.

"we won, in your face New York!!" LC says.

"Lets go see our men," Vero says as LC heads out first so I follow her out.
We walk to the back hallway as we turn to the right as we head to the Penguins locker room.

As we walk down, I see Taylor go into the locker room.

"God she's here. Let the annoying begin," LC says as I open up the door.

"Yeah, she's is such a brat," vero says as I let her and the other girls walk in before me as I head in behide them.
Walking in, I see the guys changing.

We then broke up to go visit our guys.
I walk over to where sidney is on the bench taking off his skates.
Quietly, i head over to him as I begin to rub his back, which all he had on was his under shirt and hockeypants.

"Nice job tonight Sidney," I say.
He sits up as he hugs me, bring me down onto his lap.

"Thanks babe,"Sidney says as I hear yelling.

"Your a freakin Slut,Taylor!! You have been sleeping with my own teammate!!"Ryan Whitney yells.

"Uh oh," I say.

"Have not Ryan. I have been faithful to you," Taylor yells.

"Look, does that look like me or my room? NO!!! That's Tyler. I told ya,"

"Your an ass Whitney!!"
Taylor then runs passes all of us as she goes running out of the locker room as Ryan Whitney appears.

"She's a slut. I should have saw that,"
I then look at Tyler Kennedy who was shaking.

"Your not in Trouble rookie, you showed me who she really was, a puck bunny," Whitney says as Max walks out of the locker room
Then a few minutes later, Whitney walks out of the locker room.

"Wow that was just some drama there," colby says as the whole locker room is silent.

"Yea that was," Marc says as I get off of Sidney's lap.

"I'll be back, gotta go change," Sid says as he kiss my forehead as he heads to the back as I walk over to LC.

"She is such a total slut," I say.

"Yeah and I'm glad that she is outta here,"LC says.

"Me too,"
As the guy change, the four of us girls just chat,mostly about what just happened with Taylor.

More time passes as I see Sidney appear in jeans and his penguins jacket and colby was in jeans and a sweater.

"Ready to go girls?" Sidney asks.

"Yep, oh Vette can you pick up LC tomorrow for school? I can't cause of pratice," I ask.

"Sure, i can pick her up. Be ready around 8:30," Vette says.

"Ok,"Lc says.

"Well I'll probably see you tomorrow Vette,so see ya then and I hope to see you too Vero," I say.

"Me too. It was fun hanging out with you gals,"Vero says.

"Bye girls,"LC says as Sidney pushes me.

"Crosby watch it," I say as I turn around.

"movie,movie," Sidney says as it causes me to laugh.

"Ok," i say as me and LC get pushs out the door by the boys.

"Ok your gonna," i say as I turn around and Sid kisses me.

"Your gonna what?"Sid asks as he smiles at me.

"Neither mind, let's hurry home cause I'm tried," I say as we walk down the hall as couples but before we walk out, I seen Max and Taylor making out.
Oh my.
As we head outside, a cold rush of air falls on me.

"It's chilly out here,"LC says as her and colby were head of me and Sid.
Colby moves over to her and hugs her close to him.

"Better?" Colby asks as we head across the less busy street.

"Yes,"

I look over to my left hand as it was interwined with Sidney's fingers, which I didn't think would ever be possible but i didn't even know who he was before Vette got me back into the Penguins.
It was Vette who got me back into the Penguins and into Sidney.
This relationship would have never happened without her.

We then reach the car.

"Who is sitting where?"colby asks as we stop behide the car.
I wanted to tell Lc what I saw.

"Girls in the back," I say.

"alrighty,"Colby says as I walk behide him as I open the door.
I climb into the car as I close the door and buckle up.
As soon as LC got in, Colby began the car up.

"Everyone buckled?"Colby asks as I watch as sid puts his on.

"Yes,"Sidney says as Colby begins to back out.

"guess what I saw on the way out?" I ask.

"What?'LC asks.

"Max and Taylor were making out,"

"Taylor as in the slut?"

"Yes,"

"Oh my god, I can't believe Max would do that,"

"Well he's a pimp like Geno was,"

"Wow,"

"I know,"

As 15 more minutes pass, Colby pulls into the driveway of the Lemieux house.

"We're here," colby says as i hear the engine cut off.
Unbuckling, I get out of the car and shut the door.

"I'm so ready for bed," I say as look around looking at the stars.
It is such a peaceful night out, it reminds me of th nights I slept under the stars with my dad.

"What ya looking at babe?"sidney asks.

"Just at the stars, they remind me of my dad," i say.

"Aww, it's a good night to look at them,"

"yeah but, I'm too tired. Let's go in and go to bed. I have an early morning tomorrow,"

"Ok, you go first,"
I shake myhead as i lead Sid into the house and into his wing.
LC and Colby were on the couch.

I just head to the back.

"Night guys. Be safe," I hear Sidney say as I hop onto the bed as he appeared by the door.

"You that tired?"sid asks.

"Yes," I say as I get under his covers before taking off my shoes.
I see as Sidney shakes off his head as he comes over to me and joins me on the bed.

"Good night Sidney," I say as he wraps his arms around me.

"Good night babe. I love ya," Sidney says.

"love you too Sidney," I say as I turn as he plants a kiss on me.

Then Sidney claps his lights off as I close my eyes.
Opening them, I relize i dont have my cell on me.

"Whats wrong babe?"sid asks as he claps the lights back on.

"I have to go and set my phone alarm," I say as i try to get out of his arms.

"I'll be your alarm clock. What time?"Sid asks.

"7,"

"Ok, now shut you pretty eyes and go to bed,"
I smile as I turn my head back and closed my eyes.

I pull up the long driveway of the Lemieux home.
Turning my car as little, I park besides Sidney's range rover as Colby comes and parks beside me on Sid's side.

"Your home," I say laughing as I emerge from the car with myself smiling.
Then I close my door as I seen Sidney coming out of the car before Colby does.

"So are we leaving right now?" I ask as Sid walks over to me.

"Nah, I'm going to see if the kids wanna come,"Sidney says as he kisses my forehead as he runs to the door.

"Where is he going?"LC asks as her and Colby approach me.

"Going to get the kids to come along," I say.

"This is going to interesting," Colby says.
I smile.
I am used to kids any age, so I dont have a problam with them coming at all.
They all are really nice kids, Mario and Nathalie have raised them right.

As a few minutes pass, I watch Sidney coming out with Alexa holding his hand.

"Ready?" Sid asks.

"Yep," I say as we walk in a group heading to the park.

"So how are you today Alexa?" LC asks.

"Good, school was ok. Was yours ok?" Alexa asks.

"Yes, I had a great day," LC says.

"Did you too Aaylah?" Alexa asks.

"Yep I sure did,"I say.

"So what do you want to be when we get to the park Lexa?" Sid asks.

"Going on the swings," Alexa says.

"alright, lets look both ways,"Sid says as we stop at the side of the road.

"Is it good Alexa?" Sid asks.

"Yes,"
We then head across the street and walk on the sidewalk.

"So you going to watch the game tonight Lexa?"Sid asks.

"Yes, you are playing,"
i smile, she really supports Sidney.

the more we walked, the more closer we became.
As a couple minutes pass, I see the big jungle gym coming up.

"Can i go sid?"Alexa asks.

"Yep, stay where I can see you," sidney says as he let go of her hand as she when running.

"She's too cute,"colby says.

"yeah, i gotta get her," sid says as he goes running after her, leaving me with Colby and LC.

"He's going to make a great father someday," Lc says.

"yeah he will be," Colby says.

I watch sidney grabbing Alexa into the air.
He will make a good father expectally to a little girl.
She would be so spoiled with him as her dad.

We walk down the path as we reach the playground.
Sidney is pushing Alexa on the swings

"I'm going to go and hang out with Sid for a bit," I say.

"alright, we'll be on the jungle gym,"
Walking over to the swings, Sid hald a swing out for me as I smile heading over to him.
Sitting down in the swing, he begins to push me.

"Aaylah and Sidney sitting in a tree KISSING,"Alexa sings.

"Lexa, stop. Did your sisters teach you that? they are evil," sid says as he pushes my back to get me going.

"They are funny, Sidney can you push me higher then Aaylah?"

"sure,"sid says with a evil grin on his face.
I then begin to swing as hard as i can as Alexa soon caught up to me.
Sidney is being evil to me today.

"Your not winning," I say as I move faster as I see Colby and LC playing on the slides.
They are such a cute couple.
My legs began to hurt, so I stop moving my legs and let the swing slowly stop.

"You win Alexa,"I say as I use my feet to stop on the gravel under the swing.

"Want to go play on the playground?"Sid asks, Alexa.

"Yeah, can we play tag?"Alexa asks.

"Yep," Sidney says.

"Yay!"
Then Sidney grabs the swing as he slows it to a stop as Alexa gets off and heads to the playground as me and Sid follow her.

"How are we going to play tag on the playground? We ar tall,expectally Army," I say, smiling

"You'll see,"Sidney says with a smile on his face as we walk onto the grounds that the jungle gym was on.

"Hey Colby,LC you wanna play tag?"Sid asks as they came down the slide.

"Sure we'll play, who is it first?"Colby says as I move my eyes on Alexa on the money bars.

"Alexa can't be, so one of us,"Sid says.

"I don't wanna be," I say as I step away.

"Fine, I'll be it first," Sid says.

"Alright," We agree on.

"Alexa come on, we are about to begin and you need to know who is it,"Sid says as I watch her fall from the bars and runs over to us.

"So whoever is it, will give you all 10 seconds to start running,"Sid says.

"Alright, whos it Sidney?"LC asks.

"I am and I'm about to count, 1,2,"Sid began to say as I ran up onto the castle like tower as I wanted to actually hide from him.

"Here I come,"I hear Sid say as i watch him coming my way, so I jump off and onto a brigde to where colby was.

"Tag your it LC,"Sid says.
I turn around as LC came running.
Jumping off the jungle gym, i head to the beginning as I hear " your it Alexa,"
Heading onto the jungle gym again, I run to where Sidney is.

"Where is she?" I ask.

"I don't know," sidney says as i move carefully as I feel a tag.

"Your it Aaylah,"
I've been tagged.

"Your gonna get it Crosby!!" I exclaim as I run after him cause I know he planned Alexas tag on me.
As he jumps, I do to as a fall, I hit the ground as I head for Sidney which is running around.
Soon as i get close to him, I grab him and pull him to the ground.

"Your it Crosby," I say as I get up quickly as I run back to hear sidney right on my tail.
As I reach the playground, I feel him wrap his arms around me.

"Your it," he whispers as he runs off.

"Dang it!" I yell as I head for the one person who hasnt been it, Army.
As I walk around, i see his leg out, so I jump up and hit him.

"Your it Armstrong," I say as I go running.

15 minutes later

"We're done," Sidney says as he was wiped out from the tag game.

"Yeah, what time is it?" Colby asks.

I watch as Sid looks at his watch.

"5:03, oh wow we better head back to the house to change, and Army you better get to your house to change," Sidney says.

"It's dinner time," Alexa says as she grabs Sidneys hand as we begin to head back.

"Yeah, what time are we suppose to be there?"Army asks.

"6:45 at the latest," Sid says as I walk beside him.

"Alright, then I have enough time to change,"

"Stay here with me baby, you are going to get sweaty either way,"LC says.

"Alright, I'll stay, so are we all piling into the car to the game or 2 different ones?" Colby asks.

"If you can take us back here, then you can pile into your car. Thats fine," Sidney says.

"Alright, since I'm coming back here anyways, I can do that,"

"alright,"

4 more minutes of walking, we cross the road to walk into the Lemieux driveway as Mario is outside about to get in his car.

"Hey,"Mario says as we greets up.

"Daddy,"Alexa says as she runs over to him.

"Hi princess, how was the park with Sid and Colby?"

"Fun, I had fun,"

"Good, you ready for some dinner?"

"Yes,"

"Go get in the car,"
I smile as I watch Alexa walk into the garage to the car.

"Thanks for taking her to the park guys. She will sleep well tonight. I will see you later on. Go get them tonight Sidney,"
Smiling again, this time for sid.

"Thank you. Have a good dinner,"Sid says.

"Alright, see you later,"
Mario walks off as we all head to the front door, as Sid opens it.
I follow him in as we head to his wing.

"Oh can you get me on your Email Sid?"I ask as he opens the door to his wing.

"Oh yeah, follow me,"Sid says as we walk in and head striaght back to his room.
As I follow him, he pulls out a laptop as he sets it on the bed.

"It should load in a bit, I can't wait to see when your first game is,"Sid says as he smiles at me as he logs into his computer then his email.
I get beside him as he scrolls through.

"I got a few from my younger sister, Taylor. Hmm let me read this one real quick. It's from my mom,"Sid says.

"Go ahead, thats fine," I say.
I watch as he opens the Email, which i turn my head a little bit cause i didnt want to inved his privacy.

"My parents and sister are coming in next week," sid says.

"Aww," I say.
Sidney wraps his arms around me, knowing I might be crying.

"It's alright babe,"
I let a tear roll down my face.
Sidney has both of his parents and a sister and I have no one but my dump cousin in Columbus.
A few minutes in his arms, I am alright as I sit up.

"Let's see my schedule now, "I say.
I know me making it on a hockey team, my parents are smiling down on me.

"Ok babe,"
I watch as he clicks on a email as it pops up, my schedule.
My first game is this Saturday 4 o'clock at Southpointe rink.

"Babe, I'll be at your first game. I'm off that day,"Sidney says as I hug him.
Im so thankful to have him in my life.

"Alright, so are you changing?" I ask him as he was wearing one of his shirts and jeans.

"Nah, I'll get sweaty all over again tonight but, I might take a shower now and change. Yeah Ill do that,"
I laugh as Sid walks over to his drawer as he gets his clothes.
Then he walks over to me.

"I'll be out in a few, you can use my room to change,"Sidney says.

"Ok,"I say as he walks out and closes the door behide him.

Walking over to my bag, I pick it up as I head back over to the bed as I put the bag there.
As I open the bag, I pull out a pair of jeans and my jersey that Vette gave me.
Smiling, I change from my older jeans and sweater into my new jeans and jersey.
Putting my dirty clothes into the bag, I zip it back up and grab it in my hand as i open the door.
I see LC sitting with Colby on the couch.

"Where are you going?" LC asks.

"Going to put my bag in my car, all i have in it is dirty clothe," I say.

"No they are clean," I hear Sidney say.
Sitting my bag down, I open it up to reveal that he was right.

"Thanks sidney," I say.

"Your welcome,"
Then a door shuts as I turn around to see that it wasn't his room door as I pick the bag up and head back to his room and set it down in the same place as I head up front.

"My first pratice is tomorrow morning at 7:30 at Southpointe," I say as I sit on the couch.

"Who is taking me to school tomorrow?"LC asks.

"I'll ask Vette to take you when we see her tonight and I'll pick up you from school around 1,"

"When's your first game?" Colby asks.

"Saturday at 4,"

"I can come to see you play,"

"Yeah your off that day," I say.

"Yep, maybe we can get some player to come too," Colby says.

"Not the first game Colby," I say.

"Ok, I understand,"
As we sit there, I hear the door open as I lean back to reveal Sidney in some jeans and a penguins sweater on.

"I'll be up in a minute," Sidney says as I stand up from off the chair.

"Ready for the game?" Colby asks us.

"Yeah," LC and myself say as I see Sidney coming out.

"I'm ready," Sidney says.

"Let's get moving then," LC says as I walk over to the door as I walk out first.

"You two tried from earlier?" LC asks as we walk from Sidneys wing to the front door.

"Nah, we'll be fine," Sidney says as I open the front door.
Going down the steps, I wait for Sid as we let Colby get head of us.

"Whats seating arrangements?" Sidney asks.

"Doesn't matter to me," Colby says.

"We'll sit in backseat," LC says as she looks at me.

"Alright," colby says as we arrive to his car.

"Which side Aalyah?"Lc asks.
Since i wanted to Sid.

"Left," I say.

"ok,"

Walking behide Colby, I open my door as i get into the car.
Getting settled in, I buckle up as everyone else does the same.

"Everyone buckled?" Colby asks as he begins the car up

"Yes," LC says as Colby slowly backs out and heads to the driveway end as he turns right to the Mellon Arena.
