Chapter 37 Part 2

I skated to the other side.

"You got beat by a girl," Whitney says.

"shut up Whitters," Sid says as they all came down on the ice.

"I'll race you aaylah," Val says as he gets onto the ice.

"Your on," I say as I stay were I'm at as Val comes over to me.

"I skate winner," Tyler says as everyone moves over to the side.

"I'll count off, 3,2,1," Tyler says as I begin to skate as hard as I can.
I hear "Let's go aaylah as I stop at the end.

"Aaylah won," Jordan says.

"Damn," Val says as he heads over to the side as Tyler come over.

"Ready to get beat?"

"Bring it on TK,"

1,2,3
I skate off as fast as I could as I reach the end.

"Aaylah again," Sid says.

"Crap," Tyler says.

"Whos up next?" I ask.

I raced atleast everyone once before more people began to arrive.

"The Superstar is here," Max yelled.

"shut up Max," Tyler says as as a girl stood besides Max.
I skate over to them.

"Hi I'm aaylah," I say as I extend my hand out to her.

"I'm Diana, nice to meet you," She says as I see geno, vette, And Gonchar walk in.

"Hey everyone," Geno says as Max turns around.

"Hey Geno, Gonch," Max says.

"Hello," Geno says.

"Hey girlie, you enjoy the ice?" Vetter asks.

"I beat every single one," I say as sid skates up, stopping and putting ice on me.

"She didn't beat me," Sid says.

"I bet she did, so where is LC?" Vette asks as Geno kisses her cheek.

"Go change into your skates babe," Vette says as geno, Sergei, Max, and diana go walking over to the benches.

"she is the last one to come, I asked Kris to take care of her until atleast 9,"

"Ah gotacha, what are they doing?"
I turn around to see the boys trying to ice skate together in a chain.

"Hey guys, let me join. Nice to see you again vette," Sid says as he goes skating over to the guys.

"Hey Ryan where is Nicole at?" I ask.

"She's on the bench,"
Turning back around, Gonch and geno gets onto the ice as I see Nicole and Vero talking.

"Are you skating?"I ask Vette.

"Yep, let me go get my skates on,"
As she walks over to the bench, Max and Diana pass me.

"Where you going?" Max asks.

"just to go talk," I say as I walk over to the bench with vero and Nicole on.

"Hey girls, why are you not on the ice?" i ask.

"I was planning on it but Nicole cant skate," Vero says.

"I can help you skate, your brother and jordan can help too," I say.

"I dont know," Nicole says as sid come up to the boards.

"whats up?" Sid asks smoothly.

"Sid can you go get Ryan and jordan?" I ask.

"Sure," sid says as he skates back down to the other end of the ice to get the boys.

"I dont know about this, ryan already knows i can't skate," nicole says.

"Well he's your brother, he'll help you," I say as I see Jordan and Ryan skating down to the end.

"Whats up Aaylah?" Jordan asks.

"Can you teach Nicole how to skate?" I ask.
Nicole puts her head down.

"Sure," Jordan says as he skates to th exit and gets off the ice.

"What about you ryan?" i ask.

"I'll help you Nik," Ryan says.
I turn back to Nicole, see i told you," I say smiling.

"Thanks aaylah, go back and skate. You go to Vero," Nicole says as vero stands up with her skates on as we head onto the ice.

"I'm back boys," I say as the boys are playing a game.

"Let's do the chain again," Tyler says.
All the guys grab hands.

"wanna join girls?" Sid asks.

"Yeah," I say answering for me and Vero.
i get in line in front of Sid and behind Val and Vero infront of Marc and behind Tyler, who is the leader.

"hold on," Tyler says as we all skate where tyler lead us.
This is actually fun.

A few minutes later, the chain stops as I let go of Val's hand as I keep a grib on Sid's hand.

"That was fun," I say as me and Sid skate side by side hands in hands.

"Yeah," Sid says as he skates fast and as i catch up, he stops as I skate around him in a circle.

"Wow nice aaylah," Max says as him and Diana come out onto the ice.

"Thanks," I say as Geno, Gonch, and vette come onto the ice as well.

"What are we playing?" Gonch asks as I stop on the ice.

"Just skating," Sid says

"Why dont we play game?" Geno asks.

"Goo idea Geno, who should be captains?" Tyler asks.

"Sid and Aaylah," Vette says.
I'm not picking her for my team.

"Ok, since Aaylah is the lady, she picks first," Tyler says.

"Hey guys, we are going to the other rink on the other side," Jordan yells.

"Ok, have fun!!" Max yells back as I watch Jordan, Nicole, and Ryan walk out of the door.

"Pick Aaylah," Sid says.

"I pick Marc-Andre," I say.

"Come on over here Talbot," Sid says as we finish picking teams. I had 6 on my team.
Val, Tyler, Marc, Vero, and geno where on my team as Sid has Max, Diana, Vette, and Gonch. He's going down.

"So what team is your Aaylahs. no using Penguins or Red wings," Max asks.

"My team is the Igloo," I say

"Well mine is the Movers," Sid says.

"Wait, Vero would you like to be ref?" I ask.

"Nah," Vero says.

"Can I?" Tyler asks.

"Sure," I say as he moves on.

"We dont have sticks," Max says as Geno hits his head.

"Duh," Geno says.
I smile as Sid grabs my hand.

"Let's skate," Sid says to everyone.
I skate with Sid's hand in mine as she go around the rink.

I'm so lucky that he found me.

Around another hour later, we all were still skating and Jordan, Nicole, and Ryan has joined us in the main rink.

I had kept my hand in Sid's the entire time.

"Hey guys a balck car just pulled up," Tyler says as he gets back onto the ice.

"We need to get behind the rink," Sid says as we all go to the end as Sid gets off the ice and turns off the light.

"Kris what are we doing here?" I hear LC ask.

"You'll see," Kris says as I faintly see them walking in.

Just as Sid turns on the lights, we all scream Happy birthday LC!!! as we skate over to the other side of the boards.

"Oh my god, did you knew about this?" LC asks Kris.
He nods his head as Sid walks from behind and hugs his cousin.

"Sidney let me go," LC screams as Sid lets her go.
She turns around to him.

"You didnt have to throw me a party," LC says.

"This was mine and Aaylahs idea," Sid says as Aaylah skate up to the boards.

"Thank you, you two," LC says as she slaps Sidney head.

"No you didnt," Sid says.
LC smiles as she and Kris walk over to get her skates on.

"Sorry I'm late," Bugsy says.

"Get your damn skates on and get onto the ice Bugsy," Tyler yells as I watch Sid get back onto the ice.

"We need sticks," Geno says.

"We need to take a break from hockey Geno," Max says.

"Hey BigButt wanna race me?" LC asks as she, Kris and Bugsy jump onto the ice.

"Sure," Sid says as I step to the side.

"Aaylah come get in the middle of us and count us off," LC says as I skate and stoop between them.

"3,2,1 GO!!" I scream as I watch them.
I turn around as LC gets to the end before Sid.

Never knew she could skate that fast.

"Go LC!!!" I say, clapping along with Vero, Vette, Tyler, Kris, Nicole, Jordan, and Max.

"You got beat Sidney," I say as she skates to me as I skate off.

"Go aaylah!!"
I skate as fast as I could before I stop and felt Sidney's arms wrap around me.

"Gotacha," Sid says.

"Let her go BigButt," LC says as Sid turns around, letting me go so I skate away.

"See what you did LC? You let my catch go," Sid says as I smile.
I stop besides Val as I turn watching Sid and LC.

"Hey Kris come out here and get her," Sid says as I watch Kris skating onto the ice to get LC.
Kris grabs his hand as they begin to skate.
Just as they do, Marc and Vero, Geno and Vette, Max and Diana and finally Jordan and Nicole skate around on th ice as it was a couples skate.

"Would you like to skate?" Val asks me as I smile.

"I'll be honored Val," I say as he puts his arm out to me.
I loop my arm around his as she skate.

Just as we go back into a cicle, Sid grabs my left hand.

"Sidney, its not a three people skate," I say.

"It can be," Sid says as all three of us skate around.

Chapter 37 Part 1

This beeping sound began to go off as my eyes open into an dark room.
Someone arms where around me but I remember that it's Sidney.

I lean up off the bed as I hit the blinking light off and turn on the light.

"Sidney we need to get up," I say as I try to sit up in the bed.
I watch as he opens his eyes up.

"Is it 6?" Sid asks.

"Yeah, its past 6," I say as he removes his arms from around me as he got up out of the bed to go to the bathroom.

I remove the covers off of me as I get out of the bed.

"Are we dressing up for ice skating?" I ask.

"No, you can pick out a shirt to wear, or a sweter over the shirt you have on now," Sid yells from the bathroom.

I walk over to his closet as I open the door up.
Reaching in i go through his sweaters as I pull down a jacket that said Pittsburgh Penguins on the back of it and the logo on the front.

"If you want to wear that,you could wear the windbreakers to go with that," Sid says as he pulls off the breakers off the hanger, handing them to me.

"Thanks, I'll go change in the bathroom," I say as I head into the bathroom.

Closing the door behind me, I walk over to the sink placing the jacket down.

I place the winderbreakers over the boxers that I had on.
Then I tuck in the white Cole Harbour shirt into the breakers as I place the jacket on over me.

Grabbing the zipper, I zip it up as I grab my hair out of it.

Going over to the door, I open it up a crack.

"Sid?" I ask.

"Yeah," Sid says.

"Can you please grab my brush for me? It's in one of the side pouches,"

"I'll get it,"
A few seconds later, Sid comes to the door.

"Here,"

"Thank you,"
I grab the brush as I turn around going over to the mirror.
Reaching in my hair, I pull out my ponytail holders as I begin to brush my hair.

I place it into a new ponytail as I place the holder back in over the newly ponytail.

Having the brush in hand, I turn around walking out of the bathroom.

"Were are the clothes at?" Sid asks as I head back over to my bag.

"I kept them on underneath my clothes," I say kneeling beside my bag.

Placing my brush in, I zip it up as I grab my clog shoes.
Getting them on, I stand up.

"You ready?" sid asks.

"Yes," I say as I see Sidney in a pair of pants with a Penguins sweater on.

"Am I wearing your outfit?"

"Oh no, your fine babe,"

"Ok,"
Sid walks pass me to the door.
I walk to follow him.

"Want me to leave my bag here?"

"You can, I don't mind,"

"I'll leave it here but I forgot my cell,"

Turning arounf I kneel down beside my bag as I unzip the nearest side pocket as I remove my phone out of the bag.

Standing back up, I place it into my pocket.

"Now I'm ready,"
Sid smiles as he quietly opens his door.

"Go ahead but be quiet," Sid whispers as I move ahead of him as I go down his hall, past the living room to his door which is unlocked.

Opening it, I hold it open for Sid but he grabs it as I walk out.

Turning around, I watch as he comes out closing the door behind him.

"Go ahead,"
I turn back around as I move out of the small hallway to the living room.

"Aaylah, Sid what are you two doing up?" Mario asks as I watch him walking over to us.

"We are going to an ice rink to set up for a part of LC's birthday," Sid says.

"Oh ok, that sounds like it will be fun," Mario says.

"we hope it will be. We will see you in awhile," Sid says.

"Ok have fun,"

Sid turns to the right as I follow him down the hallways and up the stairs to the front door.

I watch as Sid unlocks the door and opens it up.

"Go ahead,"

I walk out before him and head down the sidewalk to his car.

I get on the right side of his car as I watch him on the other side unlocking the door.

"It's open," Sid says as I grab the door handle opening it up. I get into the car as I close the door behind me.

Sidney puts the car in reverse as I buckle my seatbelt on as he takes off out of the Lemieux's driveway and down the road.

"So how far is this rink?" I ask Sid since I have no idea where it is at.

"It's around 12 mins away, its not too bad of a drive," sidney says.

"It's too early in the morning, are we going to eat something?"

"We will stop by A speedway and get us some coffee with breakfest,"

"Alright,"

10 minutes later, we drive into a speedway parking lot.

"I'll have a coffee to go with a donut," Sidney says as he turns off the car.
I lightly hit him on the chest.

"Your coming in with me," I say as I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the door.

"I know," Sidney says as he smiles.
I get out of the car and close the door as I walk into the store with Sidney behind me.

"Good morning," A girl says.

"Good morning," I say as I head straight over to the coffee makers.
I then look over to the cappuccino and licked my lips.

"I'm getting a cap Sid," I say as I grab a medium cup as I place it underneath the Hazelnut flavor and press on it.

I then look over and watch as Sidney makes him an hot cup off coffee.
As the machine stops, I grab a cap off and placed it over top my cup.
Then I take my cup and walks to the cookies and breakfest food alsie.

Laying my eyes on some strawberry pop-tarts, I pick them up as I turn around to find Sidney heading over this way.

"You didnt pick me up anything?" Sid asks as he kisses me and walks passes me.

"Didn't know what you wanted," I say as I follow his little game.

"It's fine aaylah, you ready to go?"

"Yeah, I got my cap and pop tarts,"

"Ok,lets head out then,"

I lead the way over to the countier as i place down my cap with my tarts, as Sid places down his coffee with his nature valley oats and honey bar.

"This all together?" the cashier asks.

"Yes," Sidney says as I step to the side so he could pay for it.

"that's 4 dollars and 67 cents,"
Sid grabs his wallet out of his back pocket and pulls some money out of it.

"Kepp the change," sid says as he hands her a 5.

"Have a good day," The cashier says.

I pick up my pack of pop-tarts and my cap as i walk out of the door before Sid.
Heading to the car, I place my pop tarts under my left arm as I open the door.

"I could have opened that for you," Sid says as he comes out of the door with his coffee and donut in the came hand.

"I got it," I say as I stick my tongue out at him.
I use my right hand to get into the car as I place my cap in the cup holder as I use my right hand to close the door.
I place my pop tarts in my lap as I grab my seatbelt as I buckle up.

Sid already got into the car and placed his coffee in the other cup holder as he began the car up, with donut in hand.

"Ready?"

"Yep,"
He looks behind as he backs out of the parking place and turns the wheel to the exit.

"Everything good on your side?"
I look to my right, nothing

"Yep,"
He pulls out onto the main road.
I grab my pop tart as i open the casing for them, I take on out as I begin to eat.

"Are they good?" sid says with donut in his mouth.
I swallow my bite

"dont talk with food in your mouth. didn't your mom teach you better?"

"Ok then mom, is the pop tarts good?"

"Yes sir they are,"
I smile as i look over at sid smiling.

12 minutes and two pop tarts later, Sid pulls into the parking lot of an ice skating rink.

"This place is nowhere village," i say as I pick up my cap and drink what rest I had left.

"It's almost 7 in the morning, of course no one is here besides Jack, the owner of this skating rink," Sid says as he turns off the car.

I unbuckle my seatbelt as I open the door to get out of the car.

"Do we have the decortating things?" I ask as i close my car door.

"Yes, Aunt Victoria place them in the trunk," sid says as I walk to the back of the car to meet him.

He places the key into the hole to unlock it.
Using my hands, I help Sid open it up above our heads.

Sitting there was a air pump, 3 packets of ballons, napkins, plates, streamer, and some soda.

"What are the napkins and plates for? and where are the cups?" I ask.

"We will be eating pizza for lunch and the cups are inside," Sid says as he grabs the pump, ballons, napkins, and plates.

So I bend over and grab the 3 rolls of streamer and the 3 bottles of soda.

"Do you want me to close it?"

"I'll come back out and close it,"

So i follow Sid to the building as an older man opens the door.

"Good morning sir, ma'am come on in. You the party goers?" He asks.

"Yes," Sid says as we walk into the door behind the man.

"So how long is this party?" He asks.

"Until 2ish," Sid says.

"Ok, thank goodness, we have another party at 4,"

I follow Sid as I see the ice rinks, a big ice rink.

"So will the chef be here to make the pizza, right?" Sid asks.

"Yes she will, want me to help you anyway?" He asks.

"Were is the cafe area?"

"This way," I turn around and walk behind the man as we go into the cafe area.

"Here we are,"

"Thank you sir, umm can you get the cups out please?" Sid asks.

"Sure,"
I place the streamers and soda down on the table as Sid places everything else down as the man came back with the cups and place them into the table as well.

" I am going to head into my office, you two have fun ok?" He says.

"thank you Jack for helping," Sid says.

"Your welcome," He says as he walks away.

"He seems nice," I say.

"He is. So what shall we do first?"

"How about you put of the streamers as I pump ballons, unless you wanna switch?" I say.

"I can do the streamers, I'll be back if not,check on me," sid says as he sticks his tongue out at me as the takes the black, yellow, and pink streamers into the ice rinks.

I sit down on a chair as I open the ballon bags.Opening them up, I look at the design on the ballons

It is the logo of the Penguins.

"Sidney," I yell.

"Yeah," sid yells back.

"Did you know theses were penguin ballons?"

"Yeah,"

I grab the air pump as I began my task of pumping the ballons.

"Sid how many should I do?" I ask as I tie my first one off.

"About 50,"
Wow i got aways to go.

Ballon and ballon I pumped I place into a pile as i count off.

20 pumping mins later, I tie off the last ballon.

"50," I say to myself as I get up and walk into the arena around.

I see Sidney on one side of the arena as I see Val on the other side.

"Hey Val, what you doing here so early?" I ask.

"Figured I help out a little," val says as I watch them with the streamers.

"Hey babe go get 25 ballons for me yo put up and put of the other 25 in the cafe," Sid says.

"Ok," I say as I walk back into the cafe.
I throw out 25 of the 50 ballons.

"Sid do you have any tacks?" I ask.

"On the countier,"
I walk back into the cafe and found them, so I began to place all 25 ballons up on the wall.

30 minutes later, I sit down as I rest.

"Come in here Aaylah," Sid says as I get up and walk into the arena.
OMG this place looks so beauiful.

"This looks awesome, LC will love it," I say as I smile.

"She will love it," Sid says as he and Val get off the ladders and head over to me.

"Let's go get our skates," Sid says.

"Ok," I say with a smile.
Sid grabs my hand as we find our way to the exit.
We walk into the cold air.

"I forgot to close the trunk," Sid says as we both begin running back to the car.

"You said you would come back out here," I say as I grab my hockey bag from out of the car.

"I know," Sid says as he grabs his hockey bag as well.
I then watch him close the trunk.

"Now its closed," I say as I start running back to the building.

"Get back here," Sid says as I close the door open Sid as Val looks at me.

"He's a butt," I say as I let go of the handle and run into the ice rink area but just as I sat down to change, sid grabs me.

"See I got you," sid says as he turns me around to kiss him.
I smile.

"Let's get our shoes changed and go skating," Sid says as he let me go so i could change.

Unzipping my bag, I grab my skates which were on top. I change from my shoes into my skates. I place my shoes into the bag.

"Remember to take off your skate guards," Sid says.

"Thanks," I say as I remove them and place them into my bag as I zip them up.

"ready to go crosby?"
Just as I say that Tyler,Jordan, Marc-Andre, Vero, Nicole, and Whitney walks in the door.

"Are we too early?" Tyler asks.

"Nope, get your skates on and lets skate until LC get here.

So as everyone changes into their skates, me and Sid get onto the ice to rip it up before anyone gets on it.

"Wanna race me Crosby?"

"It would be my pleasure, Thomason,"
I get on the right half of the rink as Sid is in the left.

1,2,3 then I was off passing sidney.

August Seventh Nineteen Eighty Seven

This is the Birthday of one of the greatest hockey players to step into the NHL. He has completed 5 seasons in the NHL. He got alternate captain in his rookie year in 2005. He took on the captain position in only his third year in NHL. He has won awards and trophies, one of the most trophies he won is the Stanley Cup in 2009 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has come along ways to get here from playing with the Cole Harbour Red Wings, to playing at Shattuck-Saint Mary's in Minnesota, then to the Rimouski Oceanic up in Quebec, Canada. Then on July 30th 2005, he got drafted 1st overall in the 1st round. He has a very successful life so far, and I'm sure he'll be successful for the rest of his life.

Hiatus

This story is currently on hiatus, I'm completely stuck on this story that it isn't funny and also from help for a friend, I can't write it right now but I will try my best to finish this. My goal is to finish this and I will.

Please be patient with me while I try to find away from my writers block on this.
