Chapter 33

Sidney's POV
(I'll place it into BOLD)

I open my eyes to still face the back of Aaylah's head.

Sitting up a little bit on my left elbow, I lean over to see if she is still asleep.
Her eyes are closed, so she is still asleep.

Laying back down into the bed, I lean my head backwards to see of the time.
8:45
I need to get up out of the bed.

"Sidney how long have you been up?" aaylah asks.

"I just got up babe. Did I wake you?" I ask as she turns around to face me.
Her face is beauiful.

"No, I got up on my own. What time is it?"

"8:46," I say.

"Ugh, that's too late,"
I smile as I kiss her forehead.

"It's not to late for you. So are you doing anything when I leave?"

"Probably lounge around,"

"Ok, some of the guys might stay around then,"

"It's alright. I love having them around,"

"Sorry to end the chat, but I gotta get up and get changed,"

"Go ahead,"
Again, I kiss her forehead as I get up from the bed.
Getting onto the floor, I grab my jeans as I place them back on, so no one says I am naked.

Then I walk over to the door, open it, and walk out down the hall to the living room.

"Morning Sid," Whitters says.

"Morning," I say as I grab my hockey bag that had all my cloths in it.

"What are you doing?"

"Going to get changed and get outta here,"

"Why?"

"Gotta get LC's surpise guests from the airport,"

"Oh ok, is Aaylah going with you?"

"No, she is staying her until I get the presents over to the Lemeiux's house,"

"Oh got ya,"
I walk down the same hall before but I turn walking into the bathroom.
Closing the door, I place my bag on the countier.
As I open the bag, I pull out an grey sweater and a pair of jeans.

I change from my stinky shirt and jeans into goos smelling jeans and a sweater.
After changing, i place my clothes into the bag, as I zip that part up.

I open a second part and take out my brush and hair gel.
I wasn't going to let my parents see me as crap.

Looking into the mirror, I watch as I brush my tangled hair, then I place the gel in the hair to make it smooth and not puffy.

After placing the gel into my hair, I put the brush and bottle back in, zipping up that side.

Grabbing the bag from off the countier, I place it on my shoulder as I open the door.
When walking out, I turn right going into Aaylah's room.

She is not in the bed anymore,as I figured she went up front. I kneel down on the ground as I grab my tennis shoes from off the floor.

Turning around, I walk out of the room and walk up the hallway up front.
Walking up front, I see Aaylah in the kicthen.

"You got up?" I ask as I walk over to the table and place my bag on it.

"I couldn't say in the bed anymore. Do you want something to eat before you leave?" Aaylah asks.
I pull out and chair and sit down it in as I untie placing my shoes on.

"No, I'll probably eat when I go over to the Lemieux's house since my parents probably haven't ate yet," I say as I get up from off the chair.

"Oh ok, thar's ok,"
I unzip my bag as I pull my cell phone out of my dirty pants.
I place it into my pocket, as I zip it back up.

"You better be heading off to get your car Sid," Aaylah says.
Smiling, I walk over to her and plant a kiss on her cheek.
How I wanted to kiss her lips but, we are taking it slow and I repect that.

"Where are your, nevermind," I say as I grab her keys off the countier in front of us.

"Be safe and call me before you head back,"Aaylah says as I walk over to the table.

"I will," I say as I pick up my bag off the table.
Walking over to the door, I unlock it and walk out of the apartment.
Shutting the door, I head down the stairs and down the sidewalk to Aaylah's car.
Walking beside her car, I take the keys and unlock her doors as I open the back one up.
Taking the bag off my shoulder, I place it into the back seat.
Closing the door, I open the driver's door and got into the car.

"Sidney!"
Looking up, I see Aaylah running down the stairs to me.
I get out of the seat as I close the door, going over to her.

"What's wrong?" I ask as I meet her on the sidewalk.

"You forgot your keys, they were on the floor," aaylah says.

"Thanks baby. I'll see you later," I say as I kiss her cheek and walk back over to her car.
I place my keys in my pocket as I get back into her car.
Placing the keys in the intione, I began the car up as I buckle up.

Moving the mirror, I look both ways as I place the car into reverse as I back out of the parking place.
Quickly switching into driver, I head down the rocky parking lot and drive to the exit of the complex.

Looking both ways, after I see nothing I turn right to head for Sewickley.
I hope my parents like Aaylah when I pick them up.

Reaching down, I turn on the radio.

"Good morning Pittsburgh, today will a a sunny day with a high of only 50, so dress up warm out there,"

"Hey Buckhead did you happen to see that Penguins game last night?"

"No I didn't see it. My mom was visiting,"

"Well they won, I'll tell you that and Aaylah Thomason was there skating around and dropped the first puck of the game,"

"Nice, I should have watched that,"

"Do you think Sidney Crosby and Aaylah know each other?"

"They have to know each other. Just have too,"

"Enough of the Aaylah talk boys, we need to talk about those Pens and Stillers,"

"Alright,"

I stop at a stop sign as I turn off the radio.
Looking both ways, I take a right onto the street.
As I take the right, my phone begins to ring.

I let it ring as I take a right turn into the Lemieux driveway.
Driving up, I turn and park Aaylah's car beside mine.

Turning it off, I take off the seat belt and open the door.
Grabbing her keys in my hand, I get out of the car.

Closing the door, I walk up the driveway and turn left to walk down the path to the porch of the house.
Walking up the stairs, I walk over to the door as I place Aaylah's keys in my pocket as I grab mine out.
Grabbing the house key, I unlock the door and walk in.

"Nathalie are you here?" I ask as I walk in.

"In the kicthen Sid," Nathalie says as I walk to the left and walk down that way to the kicthen.

"Good morning. I need to ask you something," I say.
I watch as she stops cleaning the countiers.

"Shoot,"

"Can my family stay here?"

"You know they are more then welcome to stay here. Who all are coming?"

"Dad, Mom, Taylor, and Aunt Victoria,"

"They all coming in to see you?"

"Yeah and to plan LC's party on Thursday, dont say anything to her,"

"I won't. When do they come in?"
I look over at the mircowave clock
9:30

"In 30 minutes,"

"You better get going then,"

"Yeah, oh Aaylah's car is out in the driveway. I'm just trading up,"

"Alright,"

"See you in a bit Nat,"

"Bye Sid,"

I turn around, walking back down the hall and out of the door.
Closing the door, I walk off the porch and down the walk way until I reach the pavement.
Walking across, I head over to my car as I use my keys to unlock it.

Getting in, I close the door and begin the car up.
Country music is singing as I grab my seat belt to buckle myself up.

Looking to my right, I pull out of the parking place slowly to not hit Aaylah's car.
I parked pretty close to my car.
Successfully backing out, I turn the wheel straight as I shift into drive.
Going down the drive, I turn left and out onto the road.
Just as I hit my right blinker to turn at the light, my phone rings.

I look behide me, which no one is there, so I grab my phone out of my pocket as I answer it while turning the wheel.

"We have landed," Dad says.

"Alright, I'm on my way there, just had to get my car," I say.

"Where are you?"

"Leaving Sewickley,"

"Ok, so how many minutes?"

"Like 20 or so,"

"Ok, we will be outside the front waiting for you,"

"Ok, love ya bye,"

"Bye,"
I hang up my phone as I place it onto the dashboard as I turn the radio station.
There is nothing else to do while driving.

20 minutes later
I pull up into the airport but instead of turning into the parking lot, I just pull up as I see my family sitting there on a bench.
Pulling over to the side, I get out of the car.

"Sidney," Taylor says as I seen her coming over to me.

"Hey Taylor. I missed you," I say as I hug her.

"I missed you too," she says as she moves off.
Mom just comes over to hug me and kiss my cheek.

"I'm so glad to see you again Sid. You have been playing great," Mom says.

"Thanks mom I'm glad to see you too,"
She walks off beside Taylor as my dad hugs me as well as giving me an handshake.

"Great game last night," Dad says.

"Thanks dad. I accperate that. I thought we might have lost it going into the third,"

"Stop the hockey talk and give you aunt a hug," Aunt Victoria says.
Smiling, I walk over to her giving her a hug.

"Now that's better. How are you and Lauren?" she asks.

I'm doing good and LC, she is actually moved in with Aaylah," I say.

"Aww that's wonderful,"

"It is and she is enjoying it alot. Her and Aaylah have became the best of friend,"

"Good,"

"Let's get your bags into the trunk so we can go to the Lemieux's," I say as I walk off the sidewalk as I got over to my door.
Opening the door, I lean over popping the trunk open as I close to the door to see my dad loading the bags in.

"I got it Sid," Dad says.

"Ok," I say as I watch.
Then Taylor walks over to me.

"Sid can I sit up front with you on the way to the Lemieux's house?" she asks.

"Yes you can. I dont have a problem with it," I say as I watch dad close the trunk door.

"Thank you," Taylor says as she disappears to the other side of the car.

AS I walk over to my door, mom followed.

"Sitting behind me?" I ask, opening my door.

"No, your dad is but I need to sit in the middle," Mom says.

"Here, I'll open up the door for you," I say grabbing the handle, opening the door.

"Thank you Sidney," Mom says.
Turning around, I climb into my car as I close the door behind me.

Then I grab my seatbelt to buckle up.

"Everyone ready?" I ask as I turn my head.

"Yes, go ahead Sid," Dad says as I drive down the hill to the bottom

Stopping at the bottom, I look both way before I turn left onto the street.

"So Sid is Lauren and Colby doing alright? They seemed like the couple to get married," Aunt Victoria asks.

"Lauren and Colby have broken up," I say.

"Oh, thats a bummer," Aunt Victoria says.

"Yeah and I used to be friends with him until he did something to LC," I say.

"Is her anywhere near here?"

"No, he got traded to Atlanta," I say.

"Good,"

"Sidney who is Aaylah? I heard Aunt Victoria say her name earlier and was wondering," Mom asks.

"Aaylah is my girlfriend mom," I say.

"Trina remember that girl I told you about after I returned home. Thats Aaylah," Aunt Victoria says.

"Oh ok, what does she do Sid?" Mom asks.

"She is going to college for her degree in teaching and she plays hockey for a women's team," I say.

"She plays hockey like I do," Taylor comments in.

"Yep," I say.

"What do her parents do?" mom asks.

"Her parents have both passed away. Her father in 2002 and her mother late last month. I was with her when her mom died and when she was buried," I say.

"That's so sad. I bet she is sad about it," Aunt Victoria says.

"She was and I think she is still getting over it,"

"So does she make any money?" Dad asks.

"She makes some kind of money but, if she does need the money I would give her some. It's my choice,"
I didn't want my parents to get on my case about that or call Aaylah a puck bunny.

"It is and of course we respect that. How did you two meet by the way?" Mom asks.

"We met at Southpointe, she was shooting and I could tell she was a beginner, so I skated over and helped her out with it,"

"That's so cute," Taylor says.
I really havent heard much out of my dad.

"That's how I pictured you meeting your furture wife at," Aunt victoria says.

"So are we going to meet her?" Dad asks.

"Yes, after I drop you off, I will be going to get her," I say.

"She is a very nice, polite, and goal-oriented girl that you could meet," Aunt Vicotria says.

It is good to hear my aunt trying to "sale" Aaylah out to my parents.

"How old is she Sid?" Taylor asks.

"19, she's not even an year younger then me because she was born July of 88," I say.

"Is she fun to be around?" Taylor asks.

"She is Tay," I say.
I knew that my sister will be getting along with Aaylah but I have my doubts about my father.

"I can't wait to meet her," Taylor says.

"We all are Tay," Mom says.

"So Tay, how is school and hockey?" I ask.

"School is going alright, I'm beginning to enjoy it a little bit,"

"That's good,"

"And hockey, I've been practicing alot with dad,"

"That's awesome Taylor, So mom how has the job been going?" I ask.

"It's been alright. I'm actually loving it," Mom says.

"That's good," I say as I turn left down the street then turned right into the Lemieux's driveway.

"We're here," I say as I just pull up into the driveway.

"I can't wait to see Nathalie and Mario again," aunt Victoria says as I pop open the trunk.

"Hey," Nathaile says as I see her coming off the porch.

"Hi Nathalie," Mom says as she opens the car door.

"How are you?" Nathalie asks as I hear the back door close.

"We are doing well," mom says as I see Mario coming down off the porch.

"Hi Mario," Aunt victoria says as she walks over to him

"Hi Victoria, you need some help back there Troy?" Mario asks as I watch him walk away.

"Yeah,I could use some help," Dad says.

"Sidney, can I go with you to pick up your girlfriend?" Taylor asks

"I dont think so, you need to stay here and unpack for your stay," I say.

"Alright," Taylor says as she gets out of the car.
Then I hear the trunk close the sametime as Taylor closes her door.

"So are you going to get Aaylah now?" Mom asks as she walks over to me.

"Yeah I'm going to go get her now after I call her," I say.

"Ok," Mom says.

"You coming in Sid?" Mario asks.

"No, I'm getting ready to head onto get Aaylah. She is coming over to meet my family," I say.

"Ok, why don't we go in and get you all settled in while Sid goes get Aaylah," Mario says.

"See you when you get back sweetie," Mom says as she follows in Nathalie and Mario into the house with Taylor and dad following in last.

As they get into the house, I grab my cell phone from out of my pocket.
Opening it up, I dial Aaylah's cell phone number.

"Hello," aaylah says.

"Hey Aaylah, it's Sid," I say.

"I can tell, are you on your way?" Aaylah asks.

"Yep, I should be there in 6 minutes or so," I say.

"Ok, let me go get changed and kick everyone out,"
"We're not going anywhere," I hear Whitters say.

"Tell Ryan to shut up for me before you hang up,"

"Ok, Ryan shut up,"

"Well I'm fixing to head on, so I'll let you go and get dressed,"

"Do you want me to be outside?"

"No, I'll come up to get you,"

"Ok,"

"See you in a bit. Bye,"

"Bye,"
I close my phone as I shift the car into reverse as I slowly go back down the hill and into the road.
Turning my wheel, I shift into drive as I head down the street.

I'm glad this is a short ride to get there, and not like 30 minutes across town.

Turning down the same streets as before, I arrive to the entence of the apartment complex in five minutes flat.

Placing my left blinker on, I turn into the place then againt turning left as I head down for Aaylah's apartment building.

Coming to it, I see all the car were still parked there.
Turning the wheel, I turn and park in Aaylah's parking place.
Shutting off my car, I grab my keys before opening the door to get out.

Getting out of the car, I grab the handle to close it.
Then I begin to walk onto the sidewalk then up the stairs to her apartment.

Turning left, I got straight and stop at her door to knock on it.

The door opens to revlve Val had open it.

"Thank you Val. I thought you would have left by now," I say as I walk into the apartment.

"Nah, I like this team now. I'm more comforable," Val says as I see Ryan sitting by the computer.

"Whitters why didn't you answer the door?" I ask.
He turns around in the chair as I hear the front door close.

"Val got it before I could," Ryan says as I hear a door open.

I watch as Aaylah comes out in jeans, a purple sweater, and some kind of black shoes. Her hairs is up in a nice ponytail.

"You look nice Aaylah," I say.

"Thank you sid," Aaylah says.

"You ready to go?" I ask.

"Yeah, let me go wake up LC real quick," Aaylah says as I watch her open the door.

"I'm going now with Sid, so your in charge,"

"Everyone's still here?" I hear LC ask.

"Yeah, well I'm going, see you later,"

"Bye aaylah, Bye Sid,"

"See you later Laur," I say as Aaylah closes the door.

"Now I'm ready to go. Don't distory my apartment Ryan," Aaylah says as I open the door up for her.

"I won't," Ryan says.

"Thanks, Val watch him for me," Aaylah says as she walks out.

"Will do," Val says as I nod at him.

Walking out, I close the door as I walk over to were Aaylah is as we walk down the stairs together.

"I'm getting nervous," Aaylah says as we walk down the sidewalk to the car.

"You don't need to be babe. My family is nice and Taylor is going to be at your hip today. i know it," I say as I open up her door.

"Thanks and how do you know?"

"I told my family about you because my aunt said something and it went on from there,"
She gets into the car as I close the door.

Walking over to my side, I open the door and get into the car.
Placing my key back in, I began up the car.

"So, they will love me?" Aaylah asks.

"Yes," I say as I grab her hand in mine.
She smiles.
I let go of her hand just for me a minute as I back out and drive down the parking lot.

As I get to the exit, I turn right heading for Mario's.
I grab her hand again.

"I believe you Sid,"
I know Aaylah is nervous to meet my parents but I would probably be the same if I was meeting her parents.
She has alot of trust in me.

Turning the wheel, I had down a road.

"Am I leaving there tonight?" aaylah asks.

"You can if you want to. You know your more then welcome to stay there," I say.

"I'll decide. Are you staying there?"

"Yeah, I need to stay here with my family tonight,"

"Ok,"

Turning right down the road, I turn right again as I drive up the driveway.

"We're here," I say as I turn and park my car beside her car but, not so close.

"Now I'm nervous when I shouldn't be," Aaylah says.

"You'll be fine babe," I say as I grab my keys and open the door the sametime as Aaylah got out.

Getting out of the car, I close the door as I walk over to Aaylah.
I grab her hand and move my fingers along her hand.

"You'll be fine," I say as we head up the driveway and turn left to go on the sidewalk that leads to the porch.
Getting to the porch, we walk up the stairs as we walk over to the door.

"Ready?" I ask.
I watch her take breathes.

"Yes, go ahead,"
I open the door.

"I'm back," I say as I lead myself and Aaylah into the house.

"Sidney, we are all in the TV room," Mario says.
I interwine my fingers with hers as I look at her.

"You'll be ok babe," I say.

"I know, let's go on back," Aaylah says.

"You sure?"

"Yes,"

We walk down the few steps that lead to the floor as we both walk together down the right hallway as we arrive into the living room.

Mom, dad, and Aunt Vicotria are sitting on the couch while Taylor is on the floor with Mario and Nathalie sitting in the big chair together.

"Mom, dad, and Taylor this is Aaylah. Aaylah this is my mom Trina, my dad Troy, and my sister Taylor," I say as I point to each on of them as I said it.

"It's nice to meet you Aaylah," Mom says as she gets up and walks over to Aaylah.

"You too Mrs.Crosby," Aaylah says .

"You can call me Trina, it's ok for you too," Mom says.

"Ok, Trina,"

Mom then gives her a hug.
Aaylah smiles a little bit.
I think she likes my mom.

Then Taylor gets up off the flooe.

"I'm Taylor, It's good to meet you Aaylah," Taylor says.

"It's good to meet you too Taylor. Can I ask how old are you?"

"I'm eleven,"

"You'll be an teenager in a couple of years,"

"Yeah, I'm excited,"

As they end their conversation, I watch as dad gets off the couch and walks over to us.

"And I am Troy," Dad says as he puts his hand out for Aaylah.

Dad didn't like her, in fact he as really not liked anyone that I ever been with.EVER!

"Nice to meet you Troy?" Aaylah says as she grabs his hand.

"Yes," Dad says.
He has a bad attitude all of a sudden.

"Well is anyone hungry?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes," Taylor says as I watch her going over to the table.
Then U see mom and Aunt Victoria walking for the kicthen.
Dad turns around walking for the table.

"You hungry babe?" I ask as I look over at her.

"Yes, I never ate this morning," aaylah says as we head for the table.
There were no two chairs together.

"Want to sit by Taylor?" I ask.

"Sure," Aaylah says as we let go of hands as I walk over to the other side of the table.

Pulling out the chair, I sit down by my dad.

"Hope everyone likes blueberry waffles," Nathalie says as I watch her place two waffles down on my plate.

"Thank you Nathalie," I say.

"Your welcome Sid," Nathalie says as I watch her deliever all the waffles to everyone as she sat down.

"So Aaylah, Sid told us that you play hockey, what position do you play?" mom asks.

"I play as an forward," Aaylah says.

"Ah ok, do you play on a team?" mom asks.

"Yes I do, I play for the Pittsburgh Tigers, they are the women's team here," Aaylah says.

"That's awesome," Taylor says.

"And she won her first game," I say, as I seen her blushing.

"Congratsulations," Mom says.

"Thanks you," Aaylah says.

"Your welcome Aaylah. What number do you wear, if you mind me asking?"

"I wear the same number as Sid, 87," Aaylah says.

"That's a good luck number," Taylor says.

"I think it is too," Aaylah says.

My mom talks a little bit more to Aaylah as I look over to my dad which has his i dont know face on.

"You ok dad?" I ask.
He turns and faces me.

"Yeah I'm ok son," Dad says to me.
I knew he didn't like Aaylah.

"Can I talk to you in the kicthen dad?" I ask as I get up from the chair.

"Yes," Dad says.
I walk up the stairs into the kicthen as I turn to see dad had followed me.

"Dad do you have a problem with Aaylah?" I ask.

"No I don't. She is a good girl and matches you," Dad says.

"Then why are you not talking to her?"

"I don't know. Maybe I don't want to,"
He has an attitude again.

"Dad, can you try for me. aaylah really means alot to me and I dont want her to think th at you didn't like her,"

"I'll try to talk to her, I promise,"

"Thank you dad."

Dad turns around as I follow him back to the table.

"After breakfest, we all are going shopping," Mom says as I sit back down in my chair.

"Ok," I say as I grab my glass of water to drink some.

After I am done, I grab up from the table as I grab my plate and glass, heading for the kicthen.
Walking up the stairs, I place my plate and glass into the sink.
Turning back around, Aaylah is behind me.

"You scared me," I say as I watch her place her things into the sink.

"Sorry," Aaylah says as I follow her back down into the kicthen table.

A few minutes later, everyone has placed there plates into the sink.

"Everyone ready to head out?" Mario asks.

"Yes,"

Aaylah walks over to me as I grab her hand.

"Why are we going shopping?" I ask as me and Aaylah follow Aunt Victoria and Taylor to the front door.

"For Lc's birthday presents and something else I can't tell you," Aaylah says as she walks out the door before I did.

I wonder what is going on.

"Are we all going in the van?" Mario asks.
The van fits 8, so it could work.

"Yes, and I'll go get it," Nathalie says as she turns going passed the house.

Me and Aaylah walks over to my aunt and Taylor.

"Aaylah can you sit by me in the van?" Taylor asks.

"Sure I can," aaylah says.
Just as Aaylah says that, I watch as Nathalie stops in front of us.

"Does it matter were we sit at?" Taylor asks.

"No, its doesn't matter Taylor," Mario says as he opens the back door for us.

"Get in first Tay," I say as I watch her climb in and go to the back of the car.

"Go next Aaylah," I say as I let her hand go as he climbs in.
I then get behind her as I sat down beside her.

"You ok back there Sid?" Mom asks.

"Yeah I'm alright," I say.
As I say that mom gets into the van with Aunt Vicotria and dad behind her.
Then dad closes the door.

"Everyone buckle up," Mario says as I hear a door close.
Reaching over my left side, I grab the seatbelt as I clip it into place.

"We're ready," Mom says as I seen her looking back here.

Nathalie pulls out of the driveway as she goes down the road.

"Aaylah, have you gotten injured before?" Taylor asks.

"Yes I have, in my leg, I broke it when I was younger from jumping off a wall," Aaylah says.

"I have an high ankle sprain right now," Taylor says.

"That stinks," Aaylah says.

"It does, that means no hockey for me,"

"You play hockey too?"

"Yeah but I'm a goalie like my dad. He was an goalie before I was born or even Sid,"

"Oh that's good. Maybe if you stay around here longer, then I might take you to practice,"

"I would like that,"

I smile as my sister and Aaylah bond with each other. I knew that they would do this when Taylor said something this morning.

"Aaylah, how is your schooling going?" Mom asks as she turns around.

"It's going alright. I love being in that daycare at the college," Aaylah says.

"That's good, so you love children?"

"Yes I do. I would do anything for a child,"
Just like me, if I could help them.

"You are an special person then," Mom says.

"Aaylah, when is your next game?" Mario asks.

"Wednesday, the same day as Sid's," Aaylah says.

"are you going to be in town or out?"

"Out, in West Virgina,"

"Oh ok, tell me when your next home game is and I'll try to make it there,"
I smile.

"Ok," aaylah says.

"Mom, dad when are you leaving?" I ask, not knowing it.

"Trying to get rid of us already?" Mom asks.

"No, no I was just wondering since I do not know," I say.

"We are leaving on Saturday morning," Dad says.

"Thanks," I say.

"When do you leacing tomorrow?" Mom asks.

"Um after I come back after practicing with Aaylah's team, so around 5 in the evening," I say.

"Ok,we need to plan some of the party today then," Aunt Victoria says.

"Ok, that's fine," I say.

We chat all the way to the mall, as I look around me.
Mom, Taylor, and Aunt Victoria seem to be getting along with Aaylah.

"We're here," Nathalie says as I watch her park into a parking place.

"Finally," Taylor says.

"Tay," I say.

"Sorry, buti t was long," Taylor says.

"It's alright Taylor. We are used to it," Mario says as I watch mom and Aunt Vicotria open the doors up.
Then dad gets out behind mom.

As Dad exits I lean over and jump out of the car, when I do I turn to see Taylor jumping out of the car.

"Did Aaylah go out the other way?" I ask as I see Aaylah walking around the car.

"What?" Taylor asks as she closes the door.

"Nevermind," I say as Aaylah walks over to me.
I grab her hand into mine as we begin to walk into the mall.

We shouldn't getting get mobbed but we may end up getting mobbed.

"Where are we going first?" Nathalie asks.

"Let's get things for the party and get a present for LC," Aunt Victoria says.

"Do you want to split up?" Mario asks.

"Yeah, Sidney and Nathalie come with me," Aunt vicotria says.

"Ok so are you planning?" Mom asks.

"Yes, you all can go get her a present," Aunt Vicotria says.

"Can I go?" Taylor asks.

"Sure come on," Aunt Vicotria says as Taylor walks over beside me.

"Aaylah you want to stay with me? or are you combforatble going with my parents and Mario?" I ask.

"I can go with your parents and Mario," Aaylah says.

"You sure?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Aaylah says as she walks over beside Mario.

"So we are going to get her present?" Mom asks.

"Yes, thats a great idea Trina. Us four plan the party and you four get the presents," Aunt Vicotria says.

"Ok, let's go ahead and get to shopping then," Mom says.

"Ok," Aunt Vicotria says.

"Bye mom, dad," Taylor says.

"Behave Taylor," Mom says as I grab Tay's hand.

"I will,"
We follow Aunt vicotria.

"So what theme do we want this party to be?" Aunt vicotoria asks.
I habe no idea, Aaylah might know more then me.

"Sid," Taylor says.
I look down at her.

"Yeah," I say.

"Can I get Aaylah something?"

"Sure you can get her something. I'm sure she would like that,"
She smiles.

"Sidney have you thought of what kind of party she would want?" Aunt Vicotria says.

"Have you gave any suggests Nathalie?" I ask.

"I said a party that has all of her friends there and could be like chatting, a movie, a dinner, then cake and presents," Nathalie says.

"Ok, I would say something like that but couldn't we rent someplace out and have it there? Like and ice skating party?" I ask.

"I like that Sid, can you think of any others?"

Let's see a ice skating party, a relaxing party, a pool party.

"What about a pool party?" I ask.

"I like that too,"
My aunt likes everything I say out of my mouth.

"What about and penguins party?" Taylor asks.
That would be too many people.

"Too many people Tay," I say.

"How about just a normal party? With her friends and she can do whatever she wants to do," Nathalie says.

"Or, we could combine two ideas together, like do the ice skating part first then, turn around and go back to Nat's house, if thats where its going to be and have presents and cake over there," I say.

"We're doing that and yes we are using Nathalies and Mario's home," Aunt vicotria says.

I knew she would like that.

"Since we got that planned out, can I go off with Taylor? I'll find you all after I'm done," I say.

"You can go ahead Sid. You don't have to ask, just say," Nathalie says.
I stop with Taylors hand still in mine.

"Now what do you want to get her?" I ask.

"What does she like?" Taylor asks.

"You can pick anything, I'm sure she will love it," I say.

"Can you help me?"

"Ok, how about we just look around and if you see anything she might like, get it,"

"Ok,"

We both start walking around.

"Sidney, how did you meet Aaylah again?" Taylor asks.

"I met her when the team was at the rink for practice. She was on the rink,shooting pucks. She was a beginning,so I skate over and help her. That's when we met," I say.

"That's cool," Taylor says.

"Yeah, I never taught I would met a girl at the rink, playing hockey. I was the one who acutally got her on the hockey team. When she played her first game as few days ago, I was there in support of her. She did great and got the first star,"

"Aaylah sounds like she is a good person,"

"I found something I like," Taylor says as we stop in front of a shop. A hockey store.

"Let's go look at it," I say as we walk into the store.
My face is plastered all over the walls.

"Hi Sidney, anything I can help you with?" a man asks.

"No but thank you," I say as we walk to the back of the store.
Taylor picks up this stuffed 87, with my signture over it.

"Can I get her something else, somewhere else?" Taylor asks.

"Sure," I say as Taylor goes over to the countier.

"I'm paying," Taylor says as I walk over to her.

"Ok," I say.

"Anything else for you today?" The man asks.

"No thanks," Taylor says as I watch the man ring up the stuff 87.

"$5.88,"
I watch as Taylor pulls out money.
She hands him 8 dollars and 65 cents in candien money.

"Thank you, would you like a bag?" he asks.

"Yes please," Taylor says as I watch the man bag the stuff 87 and hands the bag to taylor.

"Thank you,"Taylor says.

"Your welcome, have a nice day," he says.
I grab Taylor's hand again because she is not running off like last time she was here.

"Now where too Tay?" I ask as we walk out of the store.

"I want to buy her a cell phone cover, do you know what her cell phone looks like?"

"Yes," I say as Taylor lead me to a cell phone cover booth.

"What kind does she have?" Taylor asks as I let her hand go.
I look around as I see it.

"Right here Tay," I say, pointing to them.

"Whats her favorite color?" Tay asks.

"Purple," I say.

"I want to get her that one,"
She points to a dark purple one with light purple butterflies on it.

I think she would love it.

"Go ahead and get it. Am I paying?" I ask.

"No, I will. Excuse me sir?" Tay asks.
I watch as he turns around.

"Yes, how may I help you?" he asks.

"Can I get this one right here. It's purple with butterflies on it," Tay says.
I watch as the man grabs it, placing it onto the countier.

"Anymore?" he asks.

"Nope," Tay asks.

"That will be 3 dollars even," he says.

"Tay I'll pay for it and you give me your money," I say as I pull out my wallet and hand him three dollars.
I didn't want Tay to give six dollars of her money to him.

"Thank you and have a good day," I say as I hand Tay the cover, to place into the bag.

"Your welcome," he says.

We walk away.

"She is going to love your gifts Tay," I say as I grab her hand as we walk down, trying to find Nat and Aunt Vicotria.
Tay smiles.

"Taylor, Sidney over here," Aunt Vicotria says as I see her in a party store.
We walk over and go into the store.

"What kind of plates and cups should we get?" Aunt victoria asks as we follow her to the back, where Nat is at.
I let go of Taylor's hand as I walk over and kneel down to look at the plates.
There were flower ones, hockey, butterflies, and beach ones.

"I say get the hockey ones, since we are going skating before hand," I say as I stand up.

"Ok, can you get a few packs of them?" Nathalie asks.
I grab 3 packets of them as I grab one pack of hockey cups.

"Have you gotten anything else?" I ask.

"We have already gotten a banner, ballons, and confietti," Nathalie says.

"So do we need anything else, besides the food?" I ask.

"I dont think so, let's go check out," Aunt Vicotria says as I walk up to the cashier, placing the items down.
I move back so Nat can place her items down with the others.

"So all we need is food?" Aunt Vicotria asks.

"Yes," I say.
We got all the party supplies and mom, dad, aaylah, and Mario are getting her presents.

After Nathalie checks out and pays, we walk out of the store.

"So we try and find them?" Nathalie asks.

"I'll text Aaylah," I say as I grab my phone out of my pocket as I being texting.

I send it, then a reply came up.

I close the phone.

"They are at a dress shop," I say.

"Alright, let's go find them,"

We begin walking as Taylor is in front of me with Aunt Victoria beside her.

"What did she get?" Nathalie asks.

"She got two presents for Aaylah," I say.

"Oh ok, will she love them?"

"Yeah I know she will,"

I turn around to see Mario standing there with mom dad and Aaylah.

"They are right there," I say.
We all turn around and walk over to where they are.
Mario is holding a bag.

"Did you get anything?" Aunt Vicotria asks.

"Yeah, we got her a present she will love," Aaylah says.

"Alright, we got everything and we planned out the party too,"

"What will the party be?" Aaylah asks.

"We will first ice skate and then we will go back to Mario's and Nathalie's house to finish the party," I say.

"Ok," Mom says.

"Whats in the bag Tay?" Dad asks.

"Something," Taylor says.

"So are we ready to get out of here?" Mario asks.

"Not yet," I say.

"Do you want to get something Sid?" Mario asks.

"Yeah, I'll be back. Where do you want me to meet you all at?" I ask.

"In the food court,"

"Ok, I'll be back in a few,"I say as I walk away from them.
I walk and get onto the esculater as I drive it up to the top.

Walking off of it, I head for the jewlery store.

"Sidney," I hear a little girl say.
I stop in front of it.

"Hi sweetie, are you lost?" I ask.

"Yes, I no where mommy is," she says.

"Let's go find your mommy," I say as I pick her up into my arms as I walk down to the end, where a lost children's station is.

"Excuse me, this little girl is lost," I say.

"Emily!"

"Mommy!!"
I watch as a blonde woman comes over to me as I let the little girl go into her hands.

"Thank you, Sidney Crosby," she says.

"No problem, see you later," I say.

"Sid, if you dont mind can you autograph her shirt?" the woman asks.

"Do you have a marker?"
She pulls out an marker and hands it to me.

"Want me to sign the front of back Emily?" I ask as the mom places her down on the floor.

"Back, on the 8," she says as I kneel down behind her.

I take the cap off and begin to write.

Walking into the store, I go over to the necklaces.

"Can I help you with anything today?" I hear a lady ask.

"Yes, do you have any number pendents?" I ask.

"Yes we do. Let me go and get them for you," she says as I watch her go to the back as I look at the necklaces.
There is this purple butterfly that had details in blue.
I'm getting her this and it will match her cell phone skin too.

"Here we are sir," she says as I walk over to where she placed them at.

I go around and try to find an 88.
Finally I find a gold pendent 88, just like mine.

"Can I grab it off?" I ask.

"Yes," she says as I grab the pendent and chain off the stand.

"And I will like to get a nechlace in the glass," I say.

"Ok, can you hand me the chain?" she asks.
I place it into her hand as I watch her placing it into an case on the countier as she goes over to the display case.

"Which one?" she asks.

"The purple butterfly," I say.
I watch as she pulls it out in an case.

"Will that be it today?" she asks as she grabs both cases.

"Yes," I say as I follow her to the countier.

"Your total today will be 150 dollars and 88 cents," she says as she puts the cases in an bag.

I take out my wallet as I open it. i pull out two hundred dollar bills.

"Here," I say as I hand the money to her.
In return, she hands me my change back.

"Have a good day Mr.Crosby," she says as I place the money in the bag as I grab it off the countier.

"Thank you," I say as i walk out of the store.
Walking out, I find the esculater and ride it back down to the main floor.
When I get down there, I head for the food court.

Walking to the food court, I see all of them sitting down at an table.
I turn so Aaylah wouldn't see me.
I'm going to surpise her like i did last week to her.

Looking as I walk, I seen Mario and Nathalie looking at me as I shake my head at them.

I walk behind Aaylah as I wrap my arms around her.
She lifts up her head at me.

"Sidney, dont do that again," she says.

"Sorry babe but I had to," I say.

"So now are we ready?" Mario asks.

"Yes," I say as I unwrap my arms from Aaylah as she gets up from the chair.
She walks over to me as I let everyone else go ahead as me and Aaylah follow up.

"What's in the bag?" Aaylah asks.

"It's something for you but, you can't have it until later on tonight before you head home," I say.

"I can wait that long," Aaylah says as we walk out of the mall with my parents in front of me.

We walk across the parking lot.

"Aaylah," I hear a girl say.
Aaylah immedicaley lets go of my hand as she turns around.
I stop and turn around as well.

"Yes," aaylah says.

"Can I get your autograph?" a girl asks.

"Sure I can. What is your name?" Aaylah asks.

"Sara," she says.
I watch as Aaylah grabs the marker that is in the girls hand and signs her shirt.

"Thank you so much," she says as she walks away.
Aaylah walks back over to me as we contunie to walk over to the car.

"You two are up front with me," Dad says.
I look over at Aaylah.

"Want me to go in first?" I ask.

"No, I'll get in first," Aaylah says as she jumps into the car beside me dad as I get in.
Grabbing the handle on the side, I slide the door close.

Then I grab the seatbelt from behind me as I clip it into place.

"Everyone buckled up?" Nathalie asks.

"Yes," Dad says as I watch as Nathalie just drives away.

"So Sid what did you get?" Taylor asks.

"It's something for aaylah," I say as I turn around to look at her.

"Oh ok," Taylor says as I turn around.

"Aaylah do you have classes tomorrow?" I ask, since it was Tuesday.

"Yeah I have classes tomorrow before practice. Tomorrow will be a long day," aaylah says.

"What career are you in?" Mom asks.

"Early childhood Development. I run a preschool with a couple of people," Aaylah say.

"That sounds cute," Mom says.

"Yeah it is. i have this one child named Ryan and whenever I'm there he is connected to me at the hip," Aaylah says.

"I can see that Aaylah," Nathalie says.

"Do you want children?" Mom asks.

"Someday I would love 2 or 3 of them," aaylah says.

"I'm sure you would make a great mom,"
I can picture Aaylah with children when she grows older, like me.

Around 5 minutes later Nathalie pulls into the driveway.

"We're back," Nathalie says.
I unbuckle my seat belt as I grab the handle to move the door open.

Getting out of the car, I turn around as I hold my hand out for aaylah.
She grabs it as she jumps out of the car.

"I'll be back in a few minuntes, I got to go and get the kids from school," Nathalie says as I watch mom closing the back door.

"Ok, we'll head on in," Mario says as me and aaylah follow right behind Mario.

We both walk up the steps and onto the porch.

Mario opens the door, as I let go of Aaylah's hand so she can walk in before me.
Walking in behind her with my bag in my hand, I walk down the right hallway as I turn down my hall.

"I'll be back in a minute," I say.
I walk down the hallway and open the door to my wing of the house.

Walking in, I head back to my room.
When I get into the room, I walk over to my nightstand as I place the bag on top of it as I open the bottom drawer.

I place the bag into it as I close it heading back into the TV room.

Aaylah is sitting in a chair as Taylor is in the other one.
I walk over as I see Taylor handing her the bag.

"What is this?" Aaylah asks as I sit down on the arm of the chair.

"It's for you," Taylor says as I seen Aaylah pull out the 87 and then the cell phone case.

"Thank you Taylor. i love them," Aaylah says as I watch Taylor get up and hug her.

"I had some help from Sid too, with the cell phone case," Taylor says.
Aaylah looks over at me and kisses my cheek.

"Thank you for helping her," Aaylah says as she places the items back into the bag.

"We're home," Nathalie says.
I turn and watch as Austin and Alexa come down into the TV room.

"Where are Steph and Lauren?" Mario asks.

"Both are with their friends," Nathalie says.

"Oh ok, Do you two have homework?" Mario asks.

"No," Austin says.

"Nope," Alexa says.

"Ok, go place your backpacks away,"
I watch them go running off.

"Do anyone want to go swimming?" I ask as I get up off the chair.
I wanted to have an family swim instead of just sitting here watching TV.

"Swimming, its cold outside," Mom says.

"We have a indoor pool," Nathalie says.

"Can we all go swimming and play games?" Taylor asks.

"I'll go ask the kids," Nathalie says as she walks away.

"Sure, we all can swim. Let's go get changed," Mom says.

Taylor quickly gets off the couch, going into my wing as mom and dad follow her.

Aaylah gets up off the chair.

"I don't have a bathing suit Sid," Aaylah says.

"You can wear one of my shirts and a pair of shorts," I say.

"They are changing," Nathalie says.

"Ok, are you two going swimming?" I ask as I watch Aaylah going into my wing.

"Yeah we will," Mario says.

"Alright, see you in a few minutes," I say as I jog into my wing.

"Where is everyone at?" I ask.

"I'm in my room," Taylor says.

"Me and your father are in the bathroom Sid," Mom says.

"Let's go into my room," I say to Aaylah.

"Ok," aaylah says as I lead the way to my room.
I let aaylah walk in before me, so I can close the door.

"Let me get the shirt and shorts and you can change in my bathroom," I say as I walk over to the drawer.
Opening the second drawer, I pull out an grey rbk shirt and rbk black shorts.

"Here babe," I say as I close the drawer and hand her the clothes.

"Thanks Sidney," Aaylah says as I watch her go into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

Turning back around to the dresser, I pull on the first drawer and grabbed a pair of swimming trunks.

Closing it, I change from my sweater and jeans into the blue swimming trunks.

"Sid, can I leave my cloths in here?" Aaylah asks.

"Sure, you can place them on the sink," I yell back to her as I hear the door open.

She looks pretty good in my clothes.

"I'm ready,"Aaylah says.

"Me too," I say as I walk over to the door to open it.

"Thank you," Aaylah says as I walk out behind her.

Walking passed all the room, I figure out that everyone is already out there.
Coming out of the wing, no one is in the TV room as I hear screaming.

"They are already in the poo,," I say.

"Yeah, where is the pool at again?" Aaylah asks as I grab her hand in mine as we walk down the right side, then turn into the pool room.

Everyone is in the pool, and thay includes Mario and Nathalie.

"Come on in Sid, Aaylah," Taylor says.
Aaylah smiles at me.

"Want to go in together?" I ask.

"Sure," aaylah says as I lead the way to the deepest side of the pool.
We stand by the wall.

"Ready?" i ask as I had her hand in mine.

"Yes," Aaylah says.

"1,2,3," I say as I ran with Aaylah as we both jump into the pool.

Letting go of her hand, I swim to the top of the pool.

"Can we play chicken?" Taylor asks.

"Sure," I say.

"Can I pick my partner first?" Taylor asks.

"Sure," Mario says.

"Aaylah," Taylor says.

"Then I'm picking next since you stole my partner," I say.

"Alright go ahead," Mario says.

"I pick Austin," I say.

I watch as Nathalie gets ontop of mom and Aunt Victoria on dad's shoulders.

"Who wants to be ref first?" Taylor asks since she began the game.

"I will," I say as I walk in the water over to the teams.

"Go," I say as I watch Nathalie trying to push Aunt Vicotria into the water.

"Come on mom, throw her down," Austin says.
Then Nathalie just pushes Aunt V into the water.

"We win!!!!" Nathalie says as mom goes into the water to let Nathalie get off of her shoulders.

"Come on Sid, me and you," Taylor says.

"Come on in Austin," I say as I watch Austin get into the water,swimming over to me.

"can we do a three way?" mario asks.

"Sure, whoever wins this faces the moms," I say as Mario and Stephi hop into the water.

"Ready to get on my shoulder, Austin," I ask.

"Yeah,"
I go under the water as I grab Austins legs to lift him up into the air.

I see that Aaylah has Taylor on her shoulders as Mario does with Stephi.

"Who is ref?" I ask.

Dad jumps into the pool.

"I'll be ref," Dad says.

"Go,"

I walk over as Austin begins to push Taylor and Shepi at the sametime.
Just then, I tip back into the water as Austin came along too.

I swim and brake the surface.

"We got doubled teamed," Austin says as me and swim over to the side of the pool as we watch on.

"Come on Taylor!!!" I yell.

"No, Stephiane," Austin says
Just as he says that, Taylor pushed Shepi into the water.

"Yes," I say.

"Should we stay up here?" Taylor asks.

"Yes," I say as I watch mom and Nathalie get into the pool.

"I'm on top," Mom says as I watch Nathalie getting under the water to lift mom up.

"Sid your ref again," Taylor says.
Sighing, I swim back out into the middle of the pool.

"Ready? Go!" I say as mom pushes Taylor.

"Mom let me win" Taylor says as mom keeps pushing her.
I smile.

"Timeout," Taylor say.

"There are no timeouts." I say.

"Come here Sid," Taylor says.
I swim over to her.

"What?" I ask.

"Take my place," Taylor says as she lets go of her grib and fall into the water.

"Want to be on top?" I ask.

"Sid you can't play for Taylor," Mom says as I go under the water.
While under there, I grab Aaylah's legs and place her on my shoulders as I emerge from the water.

"Mario be ref," I say, as a replacement for me.
I watch as he swam over.

"Go," Mario says as I push mom and she pushed right back, knocking me and Aaylah into the water.
I swim up to the surface.

"You leave mom win,Sid," Taylor says as she jumps into the pool, splashing me.

"She won fair and square. I didn't let her win," I say as I splash her right back.

Then a splash war began.
I am getting splashed by everyone on including Aunt Vicotria.

I swam over behind Aaylah.

"Sidney get away from behind me," Aaylah says.
I then wrap my arms around her as we move the side of the pool together.

A few minutes pass as the splashing began to setting down.

"Mom can we play with the beach ball and net?" Austin asks.

"Yes you can," Nathalie says as I watch Austin getting out of the pool.

"Troy can you help me set this net up?" Mario asks.

"Sure," Dad says as I watch him swim over to Mario.

"You want to play with them?" I ask.

"Yeah," aaylah says.

I see a ball that came into the pool with a loud water sound behind it.

"Austin you know better then to do that," Nathalie says.

"Sorry mom," Austin says.

"Net's up, who wants to play?" Mario asks.

"Me and aaylah are in," I say as me and Aaylah swim over.

"Anyone else?" Mario asks.
Stephine, Taylor, and Nathalie comes over.

"That's only 7, come on Troy come play," Mario says.

"Alright," dad says as he jumps back into the pool.

"Austin and Sid select 3 to a team. Austin you go first," Mario says as I swim over and stand beside him.

"I pick dad," Austin says.

"Come on over dad," I say.

"Mom," Austin says.

"Austin you can just get Shep and I'll take the rest," I say.

"Ok, come on Steph," Austin says as me and dad swam over to Taylor and Aaylah.

"My team goes first," Austin says.

"Alright," I say as I move over to the right side of the pool.

"Ready?" Mario asks.

"Bring it," I say as Mario hits it over.

"Get it Tay," I say as she hits it over as Nathalie hits it hard up as it lands in her area.

"Man," Austin says.

"Mom, can you take score?" Taylor asks.

"Yes I will, how many points wins?" Mom asks.

"20," Austin says as he throws the ball over the net.
Aaylah catches it.

"Serve it," I say.

"I don't know how too,"Aaylah says.
I swam across the water, over to her.

"I'll help you," I say as I get behind her.

"Throw it up with your left hand and i'll do the rest," I say only to her.
She nods as she does and I place my arm under her's as I hit it.

Then I swim away as the ball comes back over here, I hit it and it landed on their water.

"Another point,"Taylor says.

I get back in position as the ball came to dad.

And hour an a half later...

"Let's get out of the pool everyone, there is a storm coming our way," Nathalie says.
I swam across the pool and walk up the stairs to get out.

Aaylah is already out and talking to my mom and Nathalie.
I walk over to them as I sit down at the end of Aaylah's chair.

"Here sid,"Nathalie says as she throws me a towel.

"Thank you. What time is it by the way?" I ask.

"It's about 4:30," Aunt Vicotria says.

"Oh ok," I say as I place the towel over my shoulder as I hear thunder.

"We are going to go change,"Steph says as her,Austin, and Taylor walk out of the room.

"Why don't you two get changed too," Mom says to me and Aaylah.

I look over at her as she moves her feet off the chair.

"Ok," I say as I get up.

"Keep the towel on you until you get to your room," Nat says as I wrap the towel around my waist.

"i will," I say as me and Aaylah head out of the pool room and head to my wing.

"Did you have fun?" I ask as we walk across the TV room floor.

"I did and I seen that your dad was having fun too," Aaylah says.

"You'll barely see that side of him. I'm glad you had fun. So are you staying over to dinner or heading back to the apartment?" I ask.

"I can leave after we have dinner, I just have to call LC or Vette to make sure everyone got out of the apartment this afternoon," Aaylah says.

"I'll call LC right now while you get changed," I say as I hear my cell phone ringing as we get into the wing.

I walk ahead of Aaylah as I get into my room.
I grab my pants to get my cell phone.

Opening it I say"Hello,"

"Hey Sid, my mom isn't answering her phone and I'm worrried," LC says.

"She is fine LC. She answered my call that I did an hour ago," I say.

"Oh ok, so what are you doing?" LC asks as AAylah closes the bedroom door.

"I am just hanging out with the Lemieux's today," I say.

"How is Aaylah doing?"

"She is doing well and having fun with the kids inside,"

"Oh ok, well don't tell her but she has a suprise when she gets home,"

"Alright, what did you get her?" I ask as Aaylah comes back out dressed in her clothes.

"I'm not telling you. You are the worst secert keeper in the world,"

"Aww come on,"

"No, I gotta go cause it just arrived. You going back to the apartment tonight?"

"Nah, I'm staying here tonight,"

"Alright, well I'll let you go. Talk to you tomorrow,"

"See you then," I say as I hang up the phone.

"LC?" Aaylah asks.

"Yeah, she just wanted to tell me something," I say.

"Oh ok, are you going to change?" Aaylah asks.

"Yeah, you want to go out in the living room and hang out with everyone?" I ask.

"Sure, see you in a few minutes,"
She walks out of the room, with closing the door behind her.

After she closes the door, I change from my wet trunks and change back into my jeans and sweater.
Picking up the wet trunks from off the floor, I walk into the bathroom and place them ontop of the wet shirt and shorts that Aaylah wore.

Walking out of the bathroom, I head over and open the door.
Going out of my room, I walk pass the living room as I head out of my wing.

Walking into the TV room, everyone is sitting down, watching TV.
Aaylah is in a chair as Taylor sat beside her in the other chair.

Going behind the couch, I walk over to Aaylah.
I tap her shoulders as she looks up at me.
I mouth " Can you get up? You can sit on my lap?"
She gets up as I walk over in front of the chair.

"Sidney, Aaylah was there," Taylor says as Aaylah got on my lap and swings over her legs as they land on my lap.

"Does everyone want pizza for dinner?" Nathalie asks.

"I do," austin says.

"Me too," Stephanie says.

"Me three," Taylor says.

Nathalie gets up from the couch beside Mario.

"Would you two like pizza too?" Nathalie asks.

"Sure," Aaylah says.

"Sid?"

"Yes," I say as she walks into the kicthen.

"Well that ending stinks," dad says.

"Let's find another movie," Mario says.

"A funny one Mario," Taylor says.

"Yeah dad," Austin says.

"Ok, let's see Night at the mueseum?" Mario asks.

"yeah," Taylor says as Mario hits the button.

"It will be here in 45 minutes. i ordered 2 pepperoni and 2 chesse. Is that ok?" Nat asks.

"Yep,"

"What are you watching now?" Nat asks as she took her spot by Mario.

"Night at the Mueseum, mom," Austin says.

"Oh ok," Nat says.

I look over at my mom, who is on the loveseat with dad.
She smiles at me with dad making a short smile too.

I place my hands on the other side of Aaylah's body, to make sure she doesn't fall.

"You alright over there Aaylah? You look uncombforable," Nat says.

"I'm alright but thanks," Aaylah says.

I point my attention over to the TV to watch the movie.

As the musesum comes alive, the doorbell rang.

"I'll go get it," Nat says as she stands up and heads for the door.

"Let's stop this and go sit at the table to eat," Mario says as I watch him use the remote to pause the movie.

Aaylah turns her legs, so she can get off of my lap as I got up.
I follow her over to the table as she sat down on the side where her back is facing the kicthen.
Pulling out a chair, I sat down beside her as Nathalie came back in with the pizza's.
Mario grabs them from her as she walks into the kicthen, probably to get some pop.

"Is pepsi ok with everyone?" nat asks.

"Yes,"

Mario placed two pizza's down my end and two down his end.
Nat came over and began to place a pop down in front of each of us.

"Thank you Nathalie," aaylah says.

"Your welcome," Nat says as she sits by Mario.
Taylor is beside me with Stephanie beside Aaylah.

I open both boxes that were on my end.

"Let's pray before we eat," Mario says.
I bow my head as I had my hands in my lap.

"Thank you letting the Crosby's coming down and visiting us and for Lauren's birthday on Thursday. We are thankful for them and for Aaylah. Thank you for bring her into our lives. Now bless our food and let us live until tomorrow. Amen,"

"Amen,"

I let the girls pick up their pizza before I reach down and grab three pieces of pepperoni.

"Sid, can we go to the ice rink after dinner?" Taylor asks as I finish chewing my piece.

"If it's ok with mom and dad, then I'll take you," I say.

"Can he take me too the rink?" Tay then asks mom and dad.

"Yeah of course," Mom says.

"Can we come along too Sid?" Austin asks in behave of Stephanie too.

"Ask your dad,"

"They can go ahead and go with you. Think you can handle them all?" mario asks as he smiles.

"As long as Aaylah comes along," I say as I made aaylah smile.
I see as Mario smiles along with her.

"I'm done," taylor says.

"We have to wait until everyone is done before we go," I say as I finish off my pizza.

"You having anymore Sid?" Mario asks.

"No, I'm pretty full," I say.
I watch as Austin and Stehanie finish their pizza.

"You two done?" I ask.

"Yes,"

"Why don't you go get your hockey things," I say as they both get up from the table and head upstairs.

I turn my head to the left, so see Aaylah drinking the rest of her pop.

"You done?" I ask.

"Yes," Aaylah says as I grab her plate and Taylor handed me her's.

"Thank you, anyone else done?" i ask as mom hands me her plate and dad his.

"Here Sid," Aunt Vicotria says as I get up from the table and walk over to the other side to grab it.

I then turn around and walk into the kicthen.
Walking up the first step, I place the plates into the garbage can.

Turning around, I see Austin and Stephanie had their hockey bags and sticks in their hands.

"Ready to go Tay?" I ask as she shot out of her seat as I see aaylah getting up.

"Let's go place your bags and sticks into the car," I say to Austin and Steph.
I walk pass them as I head for the front door.

"Have a good time guys and keep all of them safe Sid," Nathalie and Mom both say at the sametime.

"I will," I say as i open the front door to let Austin, Steph and Taylor walk out.

"Go ahead," aaylah says as i walk ahead of her as I walk down off the porch and down the sidewalk.

Walking off the sidewalk, I walk over to my car.
Taking the keys out of my pocket, I pull out Aaylah's keys as well.

"Here Babe," I say as I turn to my left, handing her the keys.

"Thanks," Aaylah says.

"Move out of the way guys," I say as they move and walk to the trunk.
Using my keys, I unlock the trunk as I open it.

I watch as Austin and Steph place their bags and sticks into the back.
Then I close the trunk and walk over to my side of the car.

I open the door.

"It's unlocked," I say as I hop into the car.

"Sid, can I sit up front?" Taylor asks as she walks over to my door.

"Maybe on the way back you can but aaylah is right now," I say as I watch her open the door behind me.

"Ok," Tay says as I close my door.
Place the keys in i began up the car.

"Everyone buckle up," I say as I look in my rear view mirror seeing all of them buckling up.

I turn my head to see Aaylah buckled up and smiling at me.
Its like we are a couple and our kids are in the back.

"Austin is everyone good back there?" I ask.

"Yes," Austin says.

I look as i place the car into reverse, backing out.
Turning the wheel, I place the car into drive as I head down to the end of the driveway.

"Want to go to Mellon?" I ask.

"Yeah," Taylor says.

"Ok, so how is school going Steph, Austin?" I ask.

"School is going alright but boring," austin says.

"I'm doing alright in school," Steph says.

"What about hockey?"

"Great,"
They both said that.

"Good, do you all want to listen to music?" I ask.

"Yes, b94," Steph says.

"Does that sound ok with everyone?" I ask.
There was no need for that question.

I turn on the radio and turn on b94.

A song came on as i look over at Aaylah.
She is smiling.

"Hey Steph, Austin did you hear that Aaylah plays hockey now?" I ask.

"Really?" Steph asks.

"Yep," aaylah says.

"And she plays in the women's league and won her very first game on Saturday," I say.

"Congratsulations," all three says.

"Thanks guys," Aaylah says.

"What position do you play?" Steph asks.

"A forward," Aaylah says.

"Then can you help me on some of my moves cause I'm a forward too," steph says.

"Sure I can help you, we can practice and help Taylor become a better goalie," Aaylah says.
I look and I could see Taylor smiling.

She is really liking Aaylah.

"Ok, watch out Taylor," Steph says.

"I'll be blocking you and Aaylah," Tay says.

"Then I guess I'm helping you Austin," I say.

"No, you can help us too Sid," Tay says.
She always wants me to help her with goaltending when dad isn't around.

"Alright, I'll help everyone out," I say as I turn and head out onto the freeway into Pittsburgh.

They started talking hockey among themsleves as I grab Aaylah's hand into mine.

"So when do I get my presents?" Aaylah asks me.

"You'll get them when we get back, I promise," I say.

"Alright, I'm going to keep you to that,"

"Fine with me," I say.
As I turn again, Aaylah's phone began to ring.
She takes her hand out of mine to answer it.

"Hello, hey oh ok. I should be home in a bit, i dont know what time. I am with Sid the kids going to Mellon Arena to play some hockey. Alright bye,"
She closes her phone and places it back where she had it.

"LC?" I ask.

"Yes, she just wanted to know when I'll get home. I told her i dont know. It might be three to five hours, just depends," Aaylah says.

"Geez," I say as I turn onto a street into Pittsburgh.
I stop at a light, turn and then turn again into the street in front of Mellon.

Thank god there isn't very much traffic.

Stopping at the stop light, I flip on my right blink as I turn into the parking lot of the arena.
Turning again to the right, I park right near the arena and garage.

"Sid, I don't have any skates," taylor says.

"There are some in here for you," I say as I open my door and grab my keys.
I hop out of the car and close the door shut.

"Ok," I hear Tay says as another 3 doors close.
I walk to the back of the car and using my keys to pop open the trunk.

Austin and Stephanie grab their bags and sticks as I reach up and close the trunk close.

I walk back to the front and led everyone down the ramp and into the garage door.

"Are you going to do your ritual?" Aaylah asks.

"Not tonight," I say as I see a guard.

"Good evening sid," he says.

"Good evening, is the ice still on the floor?" I ask.

"Yes, would you like to skate tonight?" he asks.

"Yes," I say.

"Alright, go ahead on in and I'll tell other guards you are here," he says.

"thank you, come on," I say as we walk passed him as we made our way to the locker rooms.

"Where do they have skates at?" Taylor asks.

"They have them in the equiment room," I say as we walk in a curve as we reach the locker room.

A guard is waiting there.

"How are you today Sid?" he asks as he unlocks the door.

"I'm doing well. thank you," I say as he opens the door for us.

"Your welcome, have fun skating tonight,"
I am ahead of everyone.

"So Aaylah and Taylor you need skates?" I ask as I stop.

"Yes,"

"Austin, Sheph why don't you two go get your skates on, only," I say.

"Ok,"
they walk behind Aaylah and Taylor into the locker room.

"Don't sit in my stall, and I mean it,"
I open the equiment room door as I lead the way in.
Switching on the light, I walk in the back part where the skates are.

"Same size as summer Tay?" I ask as I stop.

"Yes," Tay says.

I turn and face the stand as I pull her size down.

"Here, go change in them," I say.
Tay is about to go until she turns around.

"What about a mask?"
I walk more and picked up the littlest mask that could fit her.

"Here, try this on," I say as I hand her the helmet.
She placed it over her head.

"It fits well, now gloves,"

I got all the padding that Taylor would need, so she could go and change.

"7?" I ask aaylah.

"Yes,"
I grab her skates and hands them too her.

"You can use one of my sticks and helmets," I say.

"Ok," aaylah says as she turns around and walks out.
Walking but before I get to the door,I turn right into a room.
Going in, I walk over to a bench and grab another helmet off the bench.

Turning around, I walk out of there and out of the equiment room.
I see Austin in his dad's stall as Steph is in Bugsy's stall.
Taylor is sitting where Flower normally is and Aaylah is in geno's stall.

I walk over to Aaylah.

"Here babe, you can use this helmet," I say as I place it beside her.

"Thanks," Aaylah says as I walk over to my stall.
I lift the skates off the posts that they are on and place them on the floor as I sat down in between Austin and Steph.

"We are geared up," Steph says as i look over at her.

"You didn't have to get fully dressed up, only Taylor does," I say.

"We wanted to get dressed up," Austin says.

"Alright, sit down while everyone gets everything on,"
They sit down as I take off my shoes and socks.

Getting up, I open the campartment underneath me as I pull out my hockey socks.
Sitting back down, I place them on underneath my jeans as I begin to place on my hockey skates.

I tie them up as I place my jeans over them.
Looking up, I see that everyone is ready to hit the ice.

As I stand up, I pick up my socks and shoes, placing them on the bench.

"Everyone ready?" I ask just to make sure.

"Yes, we are ready," Austin says.

"Who wants to lead onto the ice?" I ask.

"Me," Taylor says.

"Ok, Austin will behind you then Steph," I say as Taylor walks on with Austin and Steph behind her.

"Want to go first?" I ask as I look at Aaylah.

"Sure but where are your hockey sticks?" Aaylah asks.

"Thank you. I forgot about them," I say as I walk with my skates on to the equiment room.
Walking in, I head straight back and grab two of my sticks.
Turning around, I walk out of the room and back over to Aaylah.

I would have forgot if she didn't say anything.

"Here, thank you for reminding me," I say as I kiss her cheek.

"Your welcome, come on lets get out there," aaylah says as she opens the door.
Following her, I grab the bucket of pucks before I walk out of the room.

Walking down the hall, Aaylah turns as we see the ice.

"Come on Sid!!!" Taylor says as Aaylah jumps onto the ice.
I walk onto the ice as I skate over to Austin who is at center ice.

Dropping all the pucks onto the ice, I throw the bucket over to the side.

"Sidney," Steph says as I smile.
I skate over to the side, picking up the buckets placing it on the borads.

"So are we going to take turns shooting at her?" Steph asks.

"Not yet, just practice on the other goal right now," I say as I skate, grabbing a puck heading down to Taylor.

She is all over the net as I made a slapshot at her.
Moving over quick, she stops it.

Thats the kind of shots I would give to an NHL goalie.

"who Tay, has Dad been working with you?" I ask as I stop over near her.

"He has and I've been getting good," Taylor says as I begin to take off.

"Aaylah can you help Tay?" I ask as I stop by her.

"you sure?" aaylah asks.

"Yeah," I say.

"Alright," Aaylah says as she skates behind me.

"What are we going to do Sid?" Austin and Steph ask.

"You can do whatever you want," I say.

"Sid, she is ready to take some pucks. She said it," Aaylah says as she skates over to us.

"Ok, you guys want to shoot pucks on Taylor?" I ask.

"Yeah,"

"Let's go," I say as I skate over to the side of the kids could get to the pucks.
Aaylah follows me as I watch them shoot at Tay.

"Be careful guys," I say as Austin shots a hard shot at Tay and she dives to save it.

"Good job Taylor," I say as I clap my hands.

An hour and a half later...

I skate around the outside of the rink as I watch the kids playing a game together with the puck. Taylor is now out of her gear.

"Sidney come and join us," Aaylah says.
Stopping, I skate over into the center of the rink.

"What are you playing?" i ask.

"Passing the puck until you miss it. If you miss it your out," Austin says as I get inbetween Aaylah and Steph.

"Let's play," I say as the puck began bouncing off sticks.
I pass it to Steph, harder each time.
Just wanted to see how much she would last.

I look up for a second and I look down as Steph had the puck.

"Sid your out," Tay says as I jump out of the circle.
I watch as the game unfolds.
Stephanie got eliminated next then Austin did.

Taylor and Aaylah were the final two.

"Your going down Aaylah," Taylor says.

"Nope sorry Tay but you are," Aaylah says.

"Come on Tay beat her," I say as I clap my hands.

Just then ,I see the puck going passed Aaylah.

"Yes," I say as I walk into center ice.
Just then my phone began to ring.

"Excuse me," i say as I grab my phone out of my pocket.

"Hello," I say.

"Hey Sid, how are the kids doing?" Mario asks.

"They are doing well. They are loving it," i say.

"Well it's time for them to come home. They have school tomorrow morning," Mario says.

"Oh ok that's fine, We will change and be on our way," I say.

"Alright Thanks Sid,"

"No problem, see you in a few,"

"Ok bye,"

"bye," I say as I hang up and place my phone into my pocket.
Turning around, I see them playing again.

"Ok guys, time to pick up the pucks. We gotta head on home," I say.

"Why?" Taylor asks.

"Mr.Lemieux wants austin and Stephanie home since they have school tomorrow," I say.

"Aww man," Austin says as I skate over to the side to get the puck.
Turning around, Austin comes over and dumps alot of pucks into the bucket as Steph and Tay does too.

"Is that all of them?" I ask.

"Yes," Aaylah says as she skates over.

"Alright, let's head on back to get changed and leave," I say as I watch Austin, Steph, and Taylor head off the ice.

aaylah gets beside me.

"That was fun," aaylah says as she reach the boards.
She walks ahead of me as I go in behind her.

"I'm glad you had fun babe," I say as she turn and turn again to head into the locker room.

Walking in, I head to my stall.

"Sid want me to put the gear back?" Taylor asks.

"You know where I got it from?" I ask as I sit down in my stall placing my stick beside me.

"Yes,"

"Go ahead and be careful,"

I lean over and untie my skates as I place them beside me.
Getting off my socks, I stand up and placing them back underneath my bench.
Sitting back down, I pick up my skates, placing them above me as I put on my socks and shoes back on.

Standing back up, Taylor heads into the equiment room.
I pick up my stick as I walk over to aaylah who is putting on her shoes.

"I'm taking your skates, helmet and stick," I say as I gather up the items.

"Alright," aaylah says as I turn around and head for the E.R.
Pushing the door open with my side, I walk in.

"taylor you ok?" I ask.

"Yes," Tay says as I turn and walk into the stick room.

I walk over to my number and I place the sticks back.
Turning back around, I walk out as I see Taylor heading out.

"Find everything ok?" I ask.

"Yes," Taylor says as she walks out of the room.
I turn and head to put up the extra gloves and helmet away.

After completeing that, I head out of the equiment room to see Austin and Steph putting their pads back into their bags.

"I told you not to wear them you two," I say as the door closes.
Taylor is standing up ready to go as Aaylah is helping Austin with his bag.

"Need help Steph?" I ask.

"No thanks Sid. I got it," Steph says as she zips it up.
Looking over at Aaylah, she zips up Austin's bag.

"There you go, we are ready over here?" Aaylah says.

"Alright, so is everyone ready to head back?" i ask.

"Yes,"

"Stephanie you get to lead us out this time," I say as I watch Steph go ahead of everyone as Austin then Taylor follows.

"Want to go ahead?" I ask Aaylah.

"You go since you'll probably be leading us out," Aaylah says.
I smile as I walk ahead of her and walk out of the locker room.

Walking out I see austin, Steph, and Taylor just walking off.

"Guys, stop," I say as I walk over to them.
They stopped.

"Sorry Sid, we didn't mean going off but since I knew the way, i would just lead," Austin says.

"It's alright Austin but ask me before hand ok?" I ask.

"Ok,can I still contiune to lead?" Austin asks.

"Sure, but when we get to the door stop," I say as he countiunes on.

"Your nice with kids," Aaylah says as she gets beside me.

"I know," I say as I grab her hand as we follow the kids out of the arena.


"You leaving so soon?" The guard asks.

"Yeah, we gotta head home. Mario wants them back," I say as the guard started laughing.

"Well be careful out there. It's raining pretty hard," he says.

"We will,want to run out to the car?" I ask.

"Yeah," Taylor says.

"On three we will run out there," I say.

"You go first to unlock the car," Steph says.

"Alright I'll go first," I say as I walk in front of them.

"Ready, 1 ,2 ,3," I say as I when running out of the garage and to my car.
Taking the key out as I ran, I place it in when I get to the car and got it.

Getting into the car, i quickly unlock the doors as I hear them all opening.
Moving my feet into the car, I close the door as the other doors close as well.

"Buckle up," I say as I place the keys into the begin up the car.
If I get into an accident I'll feel bad if anyone gets injuied cause they we're buckled up. I would probably die if I kill Marios kids or my sister.

Leaning over to the back, I grab my seatbelt placing it around my chest clipping it into place.

"Everyone buckled?"I ask.
I look behind me to see all three of them buckled up.
Looking over to Aaylah, she is buckled too.
I then place on the windowshield wipers

"Alright," I say as I place the car into reverse as I look around to make sure nothing is coming.
Driving backwards, I turn the wheel as I stop.
Placing it into drive, turning the wheel I head to the exit.

Looking both ways, I turn left, then right to head back to Sewickley.

"Can we talk Sid?" Taylor asks me.

"Yeah you can talk," I say.

"That was fun, can we do it tomorrow?" Taylor asks.

"Not tomorrow, I have two practices tomorrow, one here from 10 til 1, then I have to drive to where Aaylah is and practice with her from 2 til 4:30ish," I say.

"Oh ok, then your flying to Philly tomorrow, right?"

"Yep,"

"Are you coming back Wednesday night?"

"Probably, I'll try too since LC's birthday and birthday party is the next day," I say.

"How old would she be?" Austin asks.

"18," I say say.

"Oh ok,"

"What time is it Sid?" Steph asks.

"It is 9:10," I say as I look out the window.
The rain is reallying coming down.

"Can you see Sid?" Aaylah asks.

"yeah, i'm alright," I say.
I wanted to look at her to let her know that but, I couldn't.
She must be afired to be in an accident and I don't blame her for that.

As I reach the Sewickley exit,the rain began to subside.

"That was a nasty strom," Taylor says as I turn off to Sewickley.

Stopping at the light, I turn left, then a right to head for Mario's.

"Taylor are you up?" I ask.

"she feel asleep," Steph says.

"Alright, don't bug her," I say.
I figured that she might be asleep.

Stopping at a stop sign, I wanted to grab Aaylah's hand but we were really close to Mario's and there wouldn't be a point in it.

Turning at the light, I go down a little bit turning into the Lemieux's driveway.
Grabbing the wheel with both hands, I turn and park beside Aaylah's car.

"We are here," I say as I turn off the car.

"Want us to wake up Taylor?" Austin asks.

"No, I'll carry her in," I say as Austin opens the door.
I open up my door as I take off my seatbelt and put my keys into my pocket.

"Sid, can you open the trunk up?" Steph asks.
I lean over before I closed my door and pulled on the lever to open up the trunk door.

"Thank you," Steph and Austin says.
Quietly, I close my door.
Walking to the door behind me, I open it and lean into the car.
I unclip the Belt from around Taylor as I let it move to where it goes.

Then I place my left arm underneath her legs as I place my right arms around her back.
Lifting her up a bit, I pull her out of the car.

"Aaylah can you place her arm around my neck?" i ask.
I watch as Aaylah came over to me and places Tay's left arm over my left shoulder.

"Thank you," I say as I watch her closing the back door.

"So are you leaving?" I ask.

"No, I'll leave after I say good-bye to everyone. It would be rude if I didn't say good-bye," Aaylah says.

"Alright, I understand that. Would do the samething," I say as I walk up the sidewalk and up the stairs onto the porch.

i watch as Aaylah goes and opens the screen door for me.

"Thanks," I say in a whisper.
Walking into the house, I walk down the two stairs to the floor.
I walk down the right hallway as I see everyone in the TV room.

"She's asleep?" Mom asks as she gets up.

"Yeah, I'm going to go put her into bed," I say.
Mom walks over to me and places a kiss on Tay's forehead.

"Ok," Mom says.
I walk up a bit more then turn down the hallway that lead to my wing.
Walking through the door, I walk passed the living room and turning right into Tay's room for when she is here.

Walking into her room, I take her over to her bed placing her gently down into the bed.

After laying her down, I lean over taking off her shoes.
Then I grab the folded over off the bed and place it on her.

"Night Tay," I whisper as I move her hair out of her face before I walk out of the room.

"Sidney," aaylah says.
I turn to face her.

"Yes," I say.

"Where is my present. Remember?" Aaylah asks.

"Oh yeah, wait here," I say as I turn around heading for my room.
Walking into my room, I walk over to the nightstand to pick up the bag.

Going out of the room, I walk back to Aaylah, who has the bag of Tay's presents.

"Here babe, I hope you like them," i say as i hand her the bag.

She opens the bag up and takes out one of the boxes.
I watch as she opens it with a smile on her face.

"Sidney, I love it," Aaylah says as she shows my the 88 pendent.

"I figured that you might want one, like me," I say as I watch her grab for the other box.
I watch her open it.

"Sidney Crosby, how did You know I would want one of theses,"
She shows me.

"I guess," I say as I watch her place both boxes back into the bag as she walk over to me.

She leans over to me and kisses me.

"I love you Sid," Aaylah says.
I wrap my arms around her.

"I love you too babe," I say as i kiss her this time.

"Have you said good-bye to everyone yet?" I ask.

"Yes I did," Aaylah says.

"Then I'll walk you outside to your car," I say.

"Alright," i say as Aaylah grabs my hand.

We walk out of my wing into the main house.

"See you later Aaylah," they say to her but not dad.

"Bye, thanks for letting me come over today," Aaylah says.

"We are more then welcome to have you. See you on Thursday," nathalie says.

We turn down the walkway.

"I'll be back in," I say as we walk up the two steps and out the front door, which has a screen on it.
We walk off the porch and down the sidewalk.

"I loved today Sidney, thank you for letting me come over here," aaylah says.

"I wanted you to come out here, I enjoyed my day too," I say as we cross the driveway and walk over to her car.
When we get to her car, she lets go of my hand so she could take out her keys and unlock the door.
Opening her door, she turns around and wraps her arms around me.

"I'll see you tomorrow at practice," Aaylah says as she gets into her car.

"Alright, want me to swing by and pick you up instead of you driving there?" I ask.

"Sure, it would be better then going in seprate cars and wasting gas," Aaylah says.

"Alright, i'll be there as soon as my practice ends,"

"Alright, oh is your bag still in the back of the car?"

"Yes, I forgot to get it out. Can I get it out?" I ask.

"Yeah, go ahead," aaylah says as I walk to my side and open up her back door.
Grabbing my bag, I place it on my shoulders as I close the door.

"Got it," I say.
I hear her car begin up.

"Well I'm going to go on and head to the apartment. I bet there is a big mess there," aaylah says.

"alright, I see you tomorrow babe," i say as I lean in the window and give her a kiss on her cheek.

"Bye Sid," Aaylah says as I move over my car as I watch her pulling out.
Pulling out fully, she waves at me as she goes down the drive.
I wave back at her as she turn left to go down the street.

Sighing, I head back across the drive, up the sidewalk and onto the porch.
Walking onto the porch, I open the screen door and walk into the house.
Going down the two steps, I go down the right hallway as I see only the parents, Nat, and Mario still up.

"Where is Aunt vicotria?" I ask.

"she went to bed," Mom says.

"Ah ok, I'll be back out in a minute," I say as I turn down the hallway as I walk striaght into my wing.

Walking passed the living room area, I head striaght back into my room.
Going into the room, I place my bag down as I turn around and head back out into TV room.

"Aaylah is a nice girl Sid" Mom says as I walk across the floor over to the chair.

"I know she is mom and I care for her too," I say.

"I respect that Sidney," Mom says.
I look over at dad.

"She is very nice," Dad says.

"Dad, what do you not like about Aaylah? She isn't into because of my money, she is into me because of me, nothing else. She has her own career like I have mine," I says.

"Sid, I know she is like that but, I just want you focused on your hockey," dad says.

"I am fcoused on my hockey dad and aaylah is just helping me focruse on it more," I say.
I look at him as he gets up and walks away.

"Sidney, your father doesn't want to see you getting hurt by Aaylah because if something happens or something, it could affect your hockey," mom says.

"Aaylah wouldn't hurt me mom. I know she wouldn't," I say.

"He's just looking out for you sid," mom says.

"Alright, let's move onto a new subject," I say.

I know that my dad doesn't hate Aaylah, he's looking out for me.

"How was the skating?" Nathalie asks

"It went well, Taylor asked me if she could go tomorrow but, i said no. I have practice tomorrow morning then practicing with aaylah," i say.

"Taylor can go with you tomorrow to practice Sid, i don't mind and I'm sure that michel won't mind neither," Mario says.

i think I'll take her.

"Mom if I take Tay, can she go wit me to Aaylah's practice?" I ask, turning my head to mom.

"surem she can go but,would she sit on the sideline?" mom asks.

"Yes, LC is probably going too, so she'll sit with her,"

"Alright, she can go with you then,"

"I'll tell her in the morning, well i'm going to excuse myself to bed. I'll see you all in the morning," I say getting up, walking over to my mom.

Leaning over, I give her a hug.

"Sleep tight sid," mom says.
I hug Nathalie and Mario to as I exit the TV room and walk down to my wing.

walking into my wing, I see dad sitting there watching TV.

"Come her Sidney," Dad says.
Walking passed the couch, I sit down next to him.

He mutes the TV.

"Sidney, I don't hate Aaylah, I just don't like her very much. She is taking too much of your time right now .Every moment I've seen you with her.She isn't your focus, hockey is," Dad says.

"Dad, Aaylah isn't the badest person in the world. I love her, she means alot to me like you or even mom. Like I said earlier, she isn't in for the money. She is in it for me and only me. If you can't see that then i dont know. this is done right now," i say as i get up from dad and walk away to my room.

Walking into my room i close the door just as my phone rings.

taking out my cell, i walk over to my bed.
Opening it, I say 'Hello,"

"Sid, LC got me a big screen TV," aaylah says as i move the phone from my ear to take off my shirt.
I place it back as I begin to take off my pants.

"Really?" I ask.
I didn't know she would be doing that.

"Yeah she did," Aaylah says.

"She is a supriser thats for sure, oh do you have a problem if Tay comes with us to your practice?"

"No I don't, why?"

"Because she is coming with me to my practice and instead of taking her back here, i'll just take her with me,"

"that's fine with me, LC is going so she can sit with her,"

"Alright I figured that,"

"So what are you doing?"

"Jus tabout to go to be, i need my sleep,'
She laughs.

"Well i'll let you get your sleep, talk to you tomorrow," aaylah says.

"Alright, talk to you tomorrow. Night babe,' I say.

"Night Sid,"
I wanted to say I love you but i'll wait right now for that.

I flip my phone close as I climb into bed.
Turning in the bed, i place my phone on my nightstand as i move the covers over me.
Laying down, I look up at the ceiling.

I don't know when I'll tell Aaylah when I tell her I love her but i will do it. I will!!
