Will it be you?- Chapter 4

I stand up as the Boys of winter song came on as I hear" here are your Pittsburgh Penguins,"

Everyone was yelling but i clap as I see them all come out onto the ice as the jackets took the ice already.
Then the lights came on as some of the players came in and i sat down as I spot Sidney by the box.

I right now was in front of Ryan Malone.

"Sid is out first," vette says.

"I can see," I say as they went to center for the first faceoff.

I watch as sid passes the puck behide him to i have no clue.
All those lessons was wearing off on me.
I watch as the guy passes back and sid got it and got it in.
I stand up, clapping as he and the guys celebrated.
Then I watch him head back as he's eyes fell on me.
I wave as I see him smile as he gets into the bench.
I sit down as Sidney was right head of me, he was leaning sorta back.

"I can't believe he did that. He's never done that before," vette says as Sid gets back onto the ice.

I watch the game as I see Nash score.
I wanted to clap but, i couldn't.
As the buzzer sounds, the score was tied 1-1.

"they are a good team,' i say.

'told yeah, but you wanted to clap when Nash scored, didn't ya?' Vette asks.

"Yes but I didn't. i'm trying to be a Penguins fan, not Jackets,"

"Your still gonna be a fan of them, regradless,"

"Yeah but I'm gonna be a bigger Penguins fan soon," I say.

"Not gonna happen. Ryan made you a Jackets fan for life,"

'Maybe in July, the Pens cane get Nash, cause his contract ends,"

"Maybe, then you'll be a Pens fan?"

'Yeah, I only like the jackets for Nash, Ryan's fault,"

"We're gonna have to change your favorite player to Sidney. He's better then Nash. Believe me he is,"

"i dont know,"

"I will, i'll make it my goal for this off season,"

As 15 minutes passed, the players came back on the ice as Sidney heads in as i see Staal in center.

It was really exciting seeing this game.
As the time clicks down for the game, Pens scored 3 more goals as the Jackets didn't, which I was ok with.

"Penguins win," An accencer says.

I stand up and clap as the team shakes hands.
'I wish I had my camera," I say.

"I got pics," Vette says.

"Of Sid and Nash shaking hands?"

"Yep,"

As Sid shook the last hand he heads back and waves to everyone.
I smile.

He made me feel all weird inside for some reason.

"Let's head out before the traffic comes out," Vette says.

"alright,' I say as I hear" Wait miss,"

I stop and turn around to see a man standing there.
"Yes," I say.

"Mr. Crosby wants me to tell you that he wants you and your friend to come into the locker room," he says.

I'm shocked.

"Let's go Aalyah," Vett says.

"Ok," I say.

"let me take you there so sercity doesn't stop you," he says.

"Ok," I say as i follow the man.

"This is so exciting," vette says.

"yeah," i say.

A few minutes later we was walking in the back.
"Maybe you'll see Nash," Vette whispers to me and as she finishes, Rick comes out into the hall.

"Hi," i say.

"Hello," he says.

"Nice game," I say as the man stops.

"Thanks, Crosby fan huh?" Nash asks.

"A new one, I'm a fan of you too,"

"thanks for the support. see ya later,"

We then walk on.
"I couldn't believe you talked to him," Vette says.

"It was easy," i say as we stop.

"let me see if he wants you now," he says as he heads into the locker room.

"I can't believe we're going in there," vette says.

"neither can I," I say.

"Come on in ladies," he says.

I lead myself and Yvette into the locker room.
I see a few players as i spot sidney,in a black shirt and shorts.

"hey Aalyah, i didn't know you were coming," sidney says walking up to me.

"I found out from her," i say pointing to Vette.

"Oh, nice to meet you," sidney says.

"I'm Yvette," she says.

'Yvette, nice name. So did you enjoy the game?" sidney asks.

"yeah, it was enjoyable. It's been my first game back since Mario retired," I say.

'Ahh got ya, some people are like that," sidney says.

"Yeah i'm one of them," I say as someone walks up behide side.

'Who are they sid?"

"This is Aalyah and her friend Yvette. this is Ryan Whitney if you didn't know,"

"Nice to meet you Ryan," i say.

"you too," he says as he whispers something into Sidney's ear.

"Your a prevert Whit!" Sidney exclaims as Ryan walks off laughing.

"Oh Yvette, wanna meet Geno? I can get him with the help of Gonchar," Sidney says.

"I'll love too," Yvette says.

"Ok, hey Army come here," sidney says.

"Yeah, oh hi ladies," he says causing me to laugh.

"Can you stand with them while I go get Gonch and Geno?" sidney asks.

"sure," Army says.

Sidney walks off.
'hi, i'm Colby, they call me Army too, which ever is fine with me. Who are you two?" he asks.

"I'm Aalyah and this is Yvette. nice to meet you Army," i say as I shake his hand.

"You too, so you related to Sidney or anything?" army asks.

"Nope, I met sidney yesterday at the skating rink. He showed me a few pointers and shots," I say.

'Oh ok. I seen you yesterday then. You were pretty good after Sid taught you some moves," Army says.

"Thank you," I say as I see Sid coming back.

"Thanks Army, Aalyah, Yvette this is Sergei Gonchar and Evgeni Malkin. This is Aalyah and Yvette," Sidney says.

"Nice to meet you too," Sergei says.

"nice meet you two," Evgeni says.

"Can i ask him questions?" Vette asks.

"Yes, i'll help you out with that. come with us to the bench," sergei says as Vette smiles as she walks off with them.

"She's a happy camper," i says.

"looks like it, you wanna chat some?' Sidney asks

"Sure," I say as I follow Sidney to a conter of the room as the door opens.
'nice job boys,"

I knew that voice as I seen Mario Lemieux himself.

"Wanna meet him?" sidney asks.

"Yeah," i say.

"Sid, where oh there you are. Who is this?" Mario asks.

"This is Aalyah, I met her yesterday at pratice," sidney says.

"Oh, how are you?" Mario asks.

"Great, and you?" I ask.

"i'm doing well, thank you. So you a big Pens fan?" Mario asks.

"I used to be but, since you retired, my EX got me hooked on the Jackets,"

"Sid you have to work on her to become a 100% Penguins fan," Mario says, laughing.

"Try my hardest," sidney says.

"Talk to you later sid, nice meeting you Aalyah," Mario says.

"you too mario," i say as he smiles walking off.

"So you used to be a Penguins fan, why did you swich?" Sidney asks.

"Cause he retired and my ex boyfriend got me hooked on the Blue jackets. It's his home team,"

"Whos your home team? Mine is Montreal Candians, and I root for Pittsburgh,"

"Pittsburgh is my home team,"

"then root for them, if you dont wanna root for the team atleast root for me,"

"Ok, I'll root for you until I get used to the team,"

"Alright, now thats progress,"

"so you know i'm from here, where are you from?Montreal?"

"No, I'm from a town called Cole Harbour. It's in Nova Scotia,"

"Ah ok,"

"So how did you become a fan of hockey?"

"My father, he was into it like my grandfather was. what about you?'

'My dad as well. He was drafted in 84 as a goalie to the Candians but he never played at the NHL level, so I grew up with the Candians as my favorite team until i came here, but I still love Montreal Candians,"

"Cool, when did you begin playing hockey?'

"About 2 2in a half. what about you?"

"About 2 weeks ago, i'm new to it so i'm bad,"

'your not so bad now,"

"Hey sid, see ya later,"

They did a hand shake.
"See yeah Marc,"

"Bye,"

He walks off.
Me and Sid talks some more as Yvette comes up with a smile on her face.

"What?' I asked.

"Im going on a date with Geno,"

"cool," i say as i look at my watch which says 12:45 am.

"Yeah, oh are you done?" vette asks.

"No," Sidney says.

"Ok, I'll just go and talk to army,"

"I can't believe I'm up this late, I'm not a night owl at all," I say.

"I'm normally up a little bit later then I normally am sometimes. Hey would You like to go out with me sometime?" sidney asks.

"Sure,' I says.

"Do you have a cell phone with you?"

"yeah," i say as I pull out my phone as i hand it to him cause i knew he wanted it.

"It's ok to text my number in here or do you wanna give me your?"Sidney asks as he closes my phone.

"It doesn't matter to me,"

"Let's go both, here is mine cell,"

I grab his phone as i open it to find the background his family,i know its his family as I hit a few buttons and it was in.

'Here,"I say.

"Here's your's back, it's under Sid. So you want me to call you or you call me?"

"doesn't matter," i say as i stand up.

"Ok, it's nice to got to know you some. I'll call you this week, sound ok?"

'yeah, i'll see you later," i say as I walk up.

'Let's head home," i say.

"bye Army,by Sidney," Yvette says.

"see ya yvette, bye Aalyah," Sidney says.

"bye sid," I say as we walk out of the locker room.

We head to the left.
"I can't believe i'm going on a date with Geno," Vette says.

"When?" i ask.

"On Wednesday night,"

'congrats, tell me all about it when it's over with,' i say as we turn to head to the doors.
"So how was talking with sidney?" vette asks as we head out of the doors.

"We chatted and exchanged cell numbers with one another,"

"Oh my god, every girl would LOVE to be you. You going on a date with him?'

"He's going to call me about one this week,"

"Congrats girl. We have to post it on Myspace,'

"No way!," I say as we laugh all the way to the car.

As I apporce my car, I take out my keys and unlock the door as I get in.
"Can you drive?" vette asks.

"Yeah, i'm not drunk, Vette,' I say as I began the car up as Vette shuts her door.
'Ready?" I ask.

"Yep, whenever you are,"

I back out as I head out of the parking lot and head for home
I couldn't believe that I had a number of a guy that I met yesterday.
He isn't famous to me like other people think.
He's just a normal person like everyone else.
