Will it be you?- Chapter 20

Flickering my eyes open, my face was facing Sidney's. He has his strong arms around me tightly.
His eyes were open looking at me.

"Good morning babe,"
He kiss my forehead.

"Morning how long have you been up?"

"Just a few minutes,"

"Ok, I dont wanna go through today. This shouldn't be happening to me,"
Tears began to fall from my eyes.
Sidney wipes my eyes off as he pulls me closer to him.

"You'll get through it. I know you will cause you'll have me by your side,"
I smile as he trys to cheer me up, but nothing will cheer me up on this day, NOTHING!

We cuddle up by the fireplace, like we were last night.
I didn't want to even move out of his arms.

After while, Sidney looks at me.

"You wanna go get something to eat? It might help you," sidney says.

"Yeah why not, I'm a little bit hungry,"I say.
We both got off the floor as Sidney opens the living room door.

"Go ahead,"Sid says
I walk ahead of him as I walk back to the kicthen.

"Morning Aaylah,Sidney. Did you two sleep well last night?"Nathalie asks as she got up from the table.

"We slept alright,"Sidney says as he walks into the kicthen area.

"Has LC and Army been out here yet?"Sidney asks as he opens the fridge door open.

"No and I can cook you something for you two. I dont have a problam with that,"Nathalie says as she walks into the kicthen area.

"I can handle making breakfest but thanks for the offer Nat,"Sid says.

"Morning everyone,"I hear LC say.

"Morning, would you like any breakfest?"Nathalie asks.

"Yes please. I'm straving. What are you doing Sid?"LC asks as she sat beside me, on my right side.

"I'm making me and Aaylah breakfest,"Sid says as I couldn't watch what he was making.

"Morning,"I hear Colby says as he pulls a chair out and sits beside LC.

"Morning, what would you and colby want?"Nathalie asks.

"Blueberry pancakes,"LC says.

"alright,"Nathalie says.

"You ok Aaylah?"LC asks as I look at her.

"I have to bury my mom today,"I say as I want to cry.
LC wraps her arm around me from where she was sitting at.

"I'll be there for you,"LC says.
I look at her.

"Thank you,"I say.
She is like a second sister to me besides Yvette. Speaking of Vette, I gotta call her after I eat and plan it at one then call the hosptial about it.

"That's what friends are for, to help you out,"LC says.
I smile.

A few more minutes, I watch as Sidney comes out with two plates in his hands.

"Here you go,"Sid says as he sets on plate infront of me.
It was french toast, with cinnamon on it.
I smile at him.

"Did you make them yourself?"I asks as i take the fork from off the plate and cut into the french toast.

"Yeah, they are good too. I promise,"Sidney says as he smiles at me.
I place a little in my mouth and it was so good.

"I like'em Sid,"I say,smiling.

"I knew you would,"
I then contuine to eat the rest of my breakfest.

"Where are the kids?"LC asks.

"Mario has tooken then to school, it's 8:30,"Nathalie says.

"Oh ok, I thought they we're home schooled,"LC says.

"Nope,"
I put my fork on my plateas I enjoyed Sidney's breakfest.

"So what are you all doing today?"Nathalie asks

I didn't want to say anything about the furneal.

"We have to attend a furneal today,"sid says.

"That's sad. Whos?"Nathalie asks.

"My mothers,"I say.
Nathalie walks over to me as she gives me a hug.

"Thank you," I say crying.
Nathalie then begins to comfort me like she probably would with her children.

"Everything will be alright,"Nathalie says as I wipe my eyes.

"Thanks Nathalie, excuse me I gotta go change and call,"I say as i get up from the table as i head for Sidney's wing.
Walking in, I see my bags on the floor, so I pick up my packing bag and head into the bathroom.
closing and locking the door i pull out my cell phone and dial Vette's number.

"Morning Vette,"I say.

"Everything is ready beside the amblunce, what time would you like it at?"Vette asks.

"One,"

"Alright, I'll be there shortly ok?"

"Alright see you then,"
I hang up with her as I dial the hosptial number and ext to the doctors office.

"Hello,"she says.

"Yes this is Aaylah Thomason, you said for me to call when i got the plans out and I have. Can you have the amblunce drive her to the Holy Versailles at one this afternoon?"I asks.

"Yes ma'am. About where so I can inform the driver?"

"In the back near the fencing,"

"Alright, thanks,"
I hang up the phone as I pick up my bag onto the sink.
Opening the bag, I see a black skirt, a dressy white shirt ,dress shoes and my favorite outfit.
I pull out the dressy outfit as I throw the bag onto the ground.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I was a wreck.
My eyes are puffy and I'm a wreck.
breathing, I change from the clothes that Sidney let me have to the dressy outift.
Looking ay myself in the mirror, someone knocks on the door.

"You ok in there babe?"Sidney asks as he opens the door.

"No, sid. i dont wanna go through another furneal,"i say as I walk over to him for a hug.

"Everything will be fine babe,"
He moves his hand through my hair.
He is probably the only boyfriend who actually cares about me.

"I hope so Sid,"I say as I look up at him.

"It will be,"
He then comes down to kiss me.

"Thank you for being here sidney,"
I hug him as he hugs me back.

"I'm glad I'm here with you,"
As a few minutes pass, as LC and Colby came into the wing.

"finish getting dress babe. If you need me I'm in my room,"sidney says as he kisses my forehead as he heads into his room.

As I turn around to go into the bathroom, LC comes over to me.

"I'm sorry,"LC says as she hugs me.

"Thank you,"I say.

"If you need anything tell me ok?"

"Alright, thanks,"
She then hugs me and heads into her room.

Walking back into the bathroom, I close the door.
I sit on the toliet as I put on my shoes, the same ones i wore to my father's furneal.
All the effort to tie them, I stand up and began with my hair but it's really not going to matter.

Grabbing my bag, I walk back into the hall as i see Sidney is a suit. It was all black but the shirt, that was a blue stripe shirt.

"give me that,"Sidney says.
I hand him my bag as he puts it in his room.
He smiles as he comes back out.

Walking up front, Colby was wearing a tan suit wit a white shirt.

"Thanks for being here Colby,"I say as i go over and hug me.

"Your welcome, your my pals girlfriend, so your my friend,"

"Thanks colby,"
As I say that a knock came at Sidney's door.

I watch as Sidney goes over and opens it to reveal Vette in a black dress pants, a blue shirt, and a black jacket. Geno was in a blue suit with a light blue shirt.

"Aaylah,"Vette says as she walks over to me.

"I'm so sorry girl. Your mom was one of the greatest,"Vette says as she hugs me.

"I know, I can't believe she is gone,"
I begin to cry.
My mom was a very good mother to me and Vette when she used to come over all the time as we were kids.

After Me and Vette's crying, subsides, LC comes out of her room in a white dress suit with her hair up.

"I'm ready"LC says as we all were in the living room.

"So when will the amblunce be there?"Sidney asks.

"1,"I say.

"Then we need to get there before them, so are we taking 3 cars?"LC asks.

"We can take the mini-van when Mario gets back. He will let us borrow that,"Sidney says.

"No Sid, Me,Colby,Vette and Geno will ride together, so you an Aaylah can be by yourselfs,"LC says.

"Alright we'll do that,"Sidney says

For the next few hours we just all hang out in the living room, until the clock reads 11:55.

"We need to get going,"I say.
I wanted to get there early.

"Ok, lets go,"Sidney says as we all stand up.

"Let Sid and Aaylah go first,"LC says as I walk behide Sid out of his wing.

We then walk to the door, as Sid grabs the van keys.
Then he opens the door.
We both walk out at the sametime as we head to the cars

"Do you want to take my car or yours?" sidney asks.

"I don't care,"I say.
Sidney then grabs my hand as we walk over to his range rover.
He then opens my door for me.

"Thank you,"I say as I get into the car as he closes the door.
Buckling up, I watch as sidney opens his door.

"We'll follow you guys,"I hear LC says

"Alright,"Sid says as he gets into the car.
Closing the door he began the car up.

Sidney pulls out of the space as he begins the 45 to 50 minuts journey out to North Versailles.
The closer that we got the nervous I became.
As i look over to Sidney, he grabs and interwined our fingers together as we set them on the center of the car.

"It will be alright babe, i promise,"Sidney says.

"I really hope so sidney,"I say as I begin to cry.
I knew that Sidney couldnt do anything as he was driving but I couldnt help it at all.

"Babe, don't cry. I hate seeing you cry,"
He begins to rub my hand as he was driving.


It was silent as we rode the rest of the way to the cematary.

"When I get to this light, turn right?"Sidney asks.

"Yes,"I say.
As the light turns green, he turns into the Holy Versailles cematary.

"To the corner in the back,"I say.
Sidney drove to the back as he stops.
I unbuckled as i storm away from the car as I run to my dad's grave.
I then got on my knees.

"I'm sorry dad, mom is up there in heaven with you. I'm sorry for not keeping her alive, I've tried though. I hate letting you down dad, and you know it and today, I'll be barying mom beside you,"I say as I look from my dad's grave to the hole and tombstone beside his.
It belongs to my mother.
Placing my head in my hands, tears began to fill them up.
I've lost bothof my parents within my 19 years alive.

Then I feel someone wraps their arms around me.
I look up and I knew they were sidney's arms around me.
I then turn and look at him, his eyes were shut and he was crying.
I could tell that he was in pain.

After a few minutes of looking at him, he opens his eyes as he knew to get off of me as he helps me up off the ground.

"This is my daddy, Philip Thomason," I say, stll crying.

"Nice to meet you sir. You have a very good daughter here,"Sidney says as we both were crying.
As we turn around, Sidney waves for them to come up.
They all walk up.
I couldn't even talk as tha amblunce began its journey up here.
We all move over so we were inbetween both of my parents graves.
Today will be the lasttime I will have to do this.
Sidney had my hand in his as Vette and Geno was beside me as Vette grabs my other hand.
LC and Colby was beside Sidney as we have form this big line as I watch as Vette's grandfather walking up as he hugs me before hand.

"Thank you so much for doing this Mr. Michealson,"I say.

"Your like family to me Aaylah and so were your family. I'l happy to do this,"he says as he takes his spot.

"Ready?"He asks to me and the guys who have to lower my mom into the grave.

"Yes,"we say.

"We are gathered here today to mourn the death of this wonderful person,mother,wife and friend. who was a beloved person. She was like a sister to everyone that she met and now that she is gone, it will be passed on to her daughter Aaylah,"he says.

I then look at Sidney as he let my hand go as I head to see the casket hanging there on forklift.

"My mom was the most awesome person ever. She was like my best friend. She was always there for me and now that she is gone, I have no one. She was a person with a positive attitude all the time. Mom I'll miss you and your postivieness," I say as i turn around crying.
As I turn around, Sidney wraps his arm around me.

"Anyone who wants to speak, speak now,"Mr. Michealson says.
Yvette then walks forward.

"Maggie was and awesome person. i remind when you would chase me around with Leah. You were one fun mother and I enjoyed that you helped me on things too. Yous just an good person. I'll miss you Maggie,"Vette says as I began to cry harder.
As Vette comes back, she was crying as was Geno.
I then look and Sid,LC and Colby was as well.

"In this will Aaylah come up here,"
I walk out of Sidney's arms as i walk over to him.

"Here, take this and throw in the dirt,"
Taking the shovel, i look at sidney as I take and throw some dirt into the grave.
Setting it down, I walk back over to Sidney as LC walks to were Mr. Michealson as she began to sing as they lower the casket.

Lc sang it beauifully as the casket as fully in the ground.

"We now are closing this. Rest in peace Marget Emily Johnson,"He says.

"Rest in peace mom,"i say as everyone else says Marget.
I then walk away as i head down to the car.
I wanted to get outta here.
Crying so hard, sucks.

I watch as Sidney walks down to me crying.

"I'm sorry babe,"Sidney says crying as he hug me.

"It wasn't your fault,"I say as I got a hug for Vette,Geno,Colby, and LC.

"LC you sang real nice. thank you,"I say as we were hugging.

"Your very welcome. I had t do it for ya,"LC says as we end it.

"You ready t get outta here babe?"Sidney asks as he was still crying as well as me.

"Yes," I say as I get into the car.

"We'll see you when you get there,"LC says as Sidney get into the car.
He then begins to back up and drive out of the cematery.

We didn't talk until he turned to the left, like driving out of the Pittsburgh area.

"Where are you taking me Sidney?"I ask, wiping my eyes off.

"You'll see. I just want to go to a place that's peaceful for you,"Sidney says.
All I wanted to do is roll up into a little ball and cry myself to sleep, wishing this is all a dream.

15 more minutes of driving, Sidney pulls up to the Westpointe View.
He then parks his car.

"Come on babe,"Sidney says.

"Alright,"i say as i make myself get out of the car.
As I do, Sidney grabs my hand as we walk up the incline to the base, where you can see Pittsburgh from.

"Babe dont cry please. I just brought you here, so you can get away from it all,"Sidney says as I let his hand go and walk behide the railing.

"Aaylah!"Sidney exclaims as I watch him run to the side I was one.

I then sit on the rock that was on the cliff.

"I thought you was going to jump babe,"Sidney says as he gets besides me and wraps his arms around me.

"I couldn't do that even if I tried. I couldn't have you and everyone plan my furneal,"I say.
Sidney then kiss me on my cheek.

"I couldn't leave you sid, you mean too much to me,"I say.

"I love you Aaylah Nicole Thomason,"Sidney says out of the blue.
I turn to face him.

"And I will be here for you no matter what happens. I'll stick by your side,"Sidney says.

"I love you Sidney Patrick Crosby,"I say as he plants his lips on mine as we begin to kiss, passionately.

We stay in each others arms as we watch the landscape.
It was beauiful.

It's school time once again

As you may know, i am starting school tomorrow, so that means i wont be able to post as often as i have been doing.
I will try to aleast post 2 times a week or better but, I doubt more.

Will it be you?-Chapter 19

Walking more into the kicthen area, I felt some arms wrap around me.

"Sidney?"I ask.

"Yeah,"Sidney says.
He then turns me around to face him.

"What are you doing?"I ask.

"We are on our first official date,"Sidney says as he kisses me.

"I didn't know you was doing something like this,"I say.

"It's nothing speical,"sidney says.
I smile at him.
Walking over to the table with Sid, he pulls my chair out for me.

"Thank you,"I say as I sit down.
He then push me in.

"too are in?"sidney asks.

"Nope, your good,"I say.
I then watch as he walks into the kicthen.

"What did you make?"I ask.

"You'll see in a minute,"
I look over as he brings in two plates.

"Here you go,'
He sets in front of me and pulls out a chair beside me.
probably because the table was so long.

Looking at it, I couldnt tell what it was.

"What is it?"

"It's chicken parmesan, made Crosby style,"
i begin to laugh as he does too.

"Your funny,"I say as I took the fork off the plate to try it.
I then put it into my mouth.

"That's good,"
I began to eat more of it.

"Thanks, I'm glad you do. Are you allergy to any foods for future refornce?"

"No, I'm only allerge to a drug called codine,"

"Alright, whats that in?"

"It's in Tylenol 3, which is a medicine at the hosptial. Are you allerge to anything?"

"Not that I know about, I'm clean,"
He smiles as he ate some of his chicken.

"Ok,"I say.

We just look at one another as we ate our dinner.

"That was really good, Mr. Crosby,"I say as he smile getting up from the table.

"Thank you Ms. Thomason. Would you like dessert?"

"Yes, what did you make?'I ask as he takes my plate into the kicthen.

"You'll see,"

"Your mean,"

Then he walks in with two plates.

"For you, i hope you like it,"Sid says as he places it in front of me.
It was my favortie, peach cobbler.

"Did you actually make this?"I ask.

"No but i warmed it up,"

"your a dork,Sid,"

We just laugh at each other as I dug into my cobbler.

"It's still good,"I say smiling as I'm chewing.

"So what yor favortie dessert?"Sidney asks.

'This, love this. My mom always made it homemade and it was the best,"I say.

"Aww,"
He smiles as me as I complete my dessert.

He then gets up and puts the plates in the sink.
then i watch him put something into the microwave

'Are you cleaning dishes tonight and not Nathalie?"I ask.

"Yes I am, before we go to bed,"Sidney says.

"So what the next part of our date?"

"You'll see,"Sidney says as he walks away from me.
He walks into his wing as I get up from the chair.
Heading over to the mircowave to see what he had in there but it was too dark to tell.

"What are you doing?"Sidney asks.
I turns around as he has a cover in his hands.

"Why do yu have a cover?"
Sidney then grabs my hand as we walk outside onto a wooden patio.

"It's a little bit chilly for this Sid,"
He then sits me on this rocking couch, with a cover above it.
Then he smiles as he places the cover over me.

"I'll be right back,"

"Alright hurry up cause i'm cold out here,"
I watch as he smiles as he heads into the house.
It was about 45 degrees out here right now.
As a minute passes,Sidney came back out with two cups.

"Here this might warm you up a little,"Sidney says as he hands it to me as I take one hand out from under the covers.

"Thank you,"
He then gets under the cover with me as he moves closer to me.

"It's not too back out here for being November,"Sidney says as he wraps his arm behide my back.

"Yeah, its true. I can't wait until winter time here. I love the snow,"I say, as he was smiling.

"I love it to but it's better in Nova Scotia,"
I then look at him as we begin to drink our hot chocolate.

"Thanks for bring this,"I say.

"I planned on it,"sid says.

"You had this whole thing plan out in a day?"

"Yes, when I was praticing I was thinking about it. I just had some help with the dinner from Nathlie and Aunt Victora,"

"Aww, thats nice of them,"

"But i did most of it, like the chicken, they just cooked the peach cobbler and helped me with the instrctions to make the chicken,"

"Aww,it was good. i liked the chicken better then the cobbler,"
I place my choco down as i lay on sidney.

"I bet,"
He smiles as he comes down and kisses me.

"Sid,"

"Aaylah, I need a name for you,"

"How about babe?"

"Since youcame up with it, I'll call you that babe,"
He then kisses me again.

Then we just look out onto the clear skies to the bright stars.

"There's a flying star. Let's make a wish,"sidney says.
I close my eyes.
Wishing that nothing bad would happen bad in mylife again.

"Did you make one?" Sid asks.

"Yep. Did you?"I ask.

"Yep,"
He then kiss my forehead as he wraps his other arm around me under the covers.

"Your hands cold,"I say
He smiles as he moves it under my shirt.

'Sidney, stop,"I say like a mother.
he smiles as laughs as I do the same.
I move more closer to me as I wrap my arms around him as we becme more closer.

Then it went in silent as we and Sid just look at one another.
He then kisses me.
We are just enjoying our time together.

Closing my eyes, I just lay on him.

"Hey guys,"I hear LC say.
I turn around as sidney does too.

"What are you doing home so early?"Sid asks.

"It's eleven at night,"LC says.
Sid and Me face on another as Colby came out.

"Hey Aaylah can i talk to you for a few minutes?"LC asks.

"Sure, you dont mind Sidney?"I ask.

"Go ahead,"
I then kiss him on his forehead as follow LC inside and we sit on the couch

"I'm falling for Army. What should I do? I have never had a boyfriend before since I been at an all girl school, i never experinces boyfriends. i dont even know it he likes me back," LC says

"If you feel this way about him, just tell him," I say

"What if he feel the way about me?

"He does LC. He has already admitted it to sid. I've heard him say it,"
I then see Army and Sidney come in from outside.

Colby got behide her.

"Lauren I love you. i'm completely in love with you,"
I knew he would tell her.
sidney then walks over and sits by me.

"You two are made for each other,"I say.

"So are you and Sidney,"LC says as we just sit there for a bit.

"So how was your date?"LC asks.

"It was a very relaxing date. I enjoyed it,"I say as i smile at sid.

"We had a date too,"Colby says as me and smile.

"How was your date?"Me and Sidney asks

"It was very good, It was probably the best one i had in awhile,"Colby says.

"Tell us,"Me and Sid says.
It cant be better then our date.

"Well we when to downtown Burgh and we got some food on the way down. then we when to the south side to have dinner on the beach line,"Colby says, looking to LC.

"Then after dinner, we walk along the shore line, hand in hand as we walk. about a hour to hour in a half, we walk back to the car as it was dark. Then colby took the wheel for my corvette as we head back to Sewickley. As we got into the city, he just took me around, until we arrived at a playground, which we got in. It was around 10:45, so it was time to come here, since colby is stayig again,"LC says.

"That sounds like fun,"I say as I look at sidney.

"We'll I'm tired and wanna head to bed,"LC says as she looks at Colby.

"I'll let you have my wing tonight,"sidney says as he gets up.

"You dont have too. We can both go in there,"LC says.

"No, I'm letting you have privacy, just let me go get a few things,"Sidney says as he heads for his wing.

"He's harded headed,"LC says.

"I would take it,"I say as my cell began to ring.

i take it out as I open it to find a text.

"My grandpa can do it tomorrow and the cematry will dig up a hole next to your dad's grave tomorrow. just tell me when and all you gotta do is get the hosptial over there. Night"
I close my phone.
Tomorrow s gonna suck.

"you alright?"LC asks me as sidney came out.

"Yeah,"I say.

"Well come on colby,"LC says as she grabs his hand as she passes she, she whsipers something in his ear.

"Come on Babe, let's head to the living room,"Sidney says as he holds out his hand for me.
I walk over and grab it as we walk into the living room in the front of the house.
Walking in first, Sid shuts the door as he begins to lay out the blankets and pillows.
Then he turns on the fireplace.

"Come on down here,"He says as I get on the floor with him as we get comfy on the floor.
sid and my head was on a pillow as sid had his arms behide me as we we're both on our sides.

"You ok babe?"

"I have a furenal tomorrow. I just have to tell the hosptial,"
He just pulls me closer to him.

"You'll make it through this. I'll be with you the entire way,"
that made me smile.
Ryan wouldn't even do that.

'Thank you,"I say as I kiss him.

"Your welcome,"Sidney says as we both began to close our eyes together.
Sleep was taken both of us over.

Will it be you?- Chapter 18

"Get up, Sidney!! Your gonna be... Wake up Army!!!"I hear Mario says.
I open my eyes to find myself still in Sidney's arms.

"Alright, Mario. We're getting up,"Sidney says.

I look at Sidney as he kisses me.

"Did you sleep well last night?"Sidney asks.

"Yeah i did. Did you?"I ask.

"With you in my arms, I did,"
I smile as he kiss my forehead.

Looking on the ground, Colby and LC were sitting up and kissing.
they look so cute together.

"Hey Army what ya doing?"Sidney asks as me and Lc begin to crack up.

"Kissing my girl,"Colby says.

"Well get up, we have to get ready to head out of here,"Sidney says as he gets off the couch as I get off too.

"Alright,"Colby says as him and LC get off the ground.

I walk and stand there as Sid agains kisses me.

"You want to borrow something of mine until, you can get to your apartment?"Sidney asks me.

"Yeah,"I say as I smile at him as he heads to his room.

"You two are so in love,"Colby says.

'So are you and Lc,"I say.

"So your going to be wearing his clothes?"Lc says, laughing.
I push her as Colby gets in the middle.

"We need to stop girls. Sidney your girls are fighting,"Colby says as LC pushes him.
I laugh.

"You two need to stop it, Army catch,"Sidney says as he throws a shirt to me.

"Thanks, I'll go in the living area to change,"Colby says.

"You do that, here you go Aaylah. You can have that shirt if you want it. I was saving it for whoever needed it,"Sidney says.

It was a pair of capris, girls and i open the shirt to releve that it had a big 87 on the front of it that was faded.

"Where did you get this at?"i ask.

"I have my own clothing line for Reebok and since i helped design this, they gave me a few outifts incase taylor wanted them but, you came before her,"Sidney says.

"Aww, thats nice,'

"And i get nothing?"LC asks.
Sidney throws her a shirt.

"I'm wearing this today,"LC says as she heads into her room.

"i better change, so we're not late,"Sidney says, smiling.

"Me too,"I say as I head into the bathroom.
I change from the clothes that LC let me borrow into the capris and shirt that Sid let me have.
Then an knock came.

"Hurry up in there,"I hear LC say.

"hold on Lc,"I say.

I then pick up the clothes on the floor and open the door.

"Hey can i go my makeup in the car?"LC asks as Sidney comes out of his room.
I watch as Colby walk up into the hall as he passes me.

"Baby you are hot without it,"Colby says as I walk into LC's room to put her clothes in her hamper.
Walking out, I head to the door as i slip in my flip-flops.

"Everyone ready to go?"Sidney asks.

"Yeah, LC you want to drive with me to the rink?"Colby asks.
I stand there.

"Sure, I'll love too,"LC says.

"Let's head out then,"Sidney says as he let's colby and Lc ahead of us.

"Ladies first,"Sidney says.

"thank you,"I say as I walk pass him as I wait for him.

"Colby is so happy with her, I've never seen him like this before,"Sidney says.

"They pretty much in love,"I say.

"Like us?"Sidney asks.

He smiles.

Sidney stops and turns around.

sidney blushes like mad.
I smile.

"I'm sure he'll help me out,"Isay.

"Well you better head out. Pratice began 10 minutes ago,"Mario says.

"Alright, see you later, wait arent you and Nathalie going out tonight?"Sidney asks.

"Yep and the kids are taken care of. They are going to a friends, so you can have the night off,"

"Alright, i'll see you later. Let's go Aaylah,"sid says as we head tothe front door.
We walk out and head down the stairs.
then my phone begins to ring.

'Dang it,"I say as i take it out of my pocket.
Opening it, it relives kim's cell number.

"No way,"I say closing it.

He answers it.

"Hello,"sidney says.

"Where is Aaylah!!"i hear kim yell.

"Don't worry about her. please leave her alone. She's been through alot lately and doesnt need to you through you too. please stop calling my girlfriend,"
Sidney then hangs up the phone.
He just called me his girlfriend.

"You ok aaylah?"Sidney ask me.

"Yeah i'm ok, you just called me your girlfriend,"I say.

Sidney wraps his arms around me.

I smile as the hug ended as we walk to his sliver range rover.
Walking to the otherside, i open the door and climb into the SUV.

he backs out as he heads to Pittsburgh.

"Thanks for taking care of Kim for me, Sid,"I say.
He grabs my hand and rubs it.

He really cares about me, like no one has done before and that includes my ex, Ryan.

As he turns, my cell goes off again.
Taking it out of my pocket, I open it to see a number I havent seen before.

"Hello,"I say.

"Ms. Thomason, have you planned out your mothers fate yet?"A doctor asks.

"I've been busy and trying not to think about it,"

"Well, tomorrow afternoon, your mothers body will be taken to a body dump, so call me by then,"
I cry. I dont want to be planning my mothers furenal at 19 years old.

"you ok?"sidney asks.

"No, i have to plan my mother furenal her body will be taken tomorrow,"I say, crying.
Sidney moves his thump up and down my hand.

"I'll help you get through it babe. you'll get through it,"
I just wanted to cry on his shoulder.

25 minutes of driving, Sid pulls into the parking lot of the rink.
He shuts off his car.

"You ready to go in?"Sidney asks.

"not yet, you can go in since your late,"i say.

"I'll see you after pratice,"sidney say as he kisses my cheek as he walks away and me to LC and a few other girls, including Miss, annoying, Taylor.

"Ya i know. how can he date her. He could do so much better,"LC whispers to me as I sit by her on the blechers.

We began to talk to some on the girlfriends as my cell rang.
Again,I take it out of my pocket and open it.

"Geno invited me to pratice today,"Vette says.

"Well you need to hurry down here, wait is Geno with you?"I ask.

"Yes and we are almost there,"

I put my phone back into my pocket.

"Geno invited Vette to the pratice today,"I say.

I turn my head as i seen Sidney and cobly coming onto the ice.

LC turns right around

As she did, I see Yvette walking in with Geno.

"Vette, come and have a seat with us,"I say as I and LC move over to make room for Vette.

I move my head around to her as she stick her tongue out at me.

We all begin to laugh as we watch them pratice.

An hour passes by as they guys get off the ice.

Geno was talking to sid, as i knew what he was telling him.
I then walk over to him and sit beside him.

I watch as they look at one another.

We all then stop.

I look at sidney as we head to his range rover.

"It's unlocked Aaylah,"Sidney says as I climb into the SUV like car.
Closing the door, i buckle up.

"I can't wait to at TGI Fridays. I've never been there,"I say as Sidney watches colby pull out as he does.

"The food is good there. Colby,Max, and Geno all pulled me out to it, so I had to eat. You'll like it,"Sidney says.

As we stop behide Colbys SUV, LC turns around waves to us.
Me and sidney both wave back to her as I turn around to pas it along to Vette and Geno.

24 minutes of driving later, Sidney pulls into the resturant parking lot.
He parks right beside Colby as Geno parks on the right side of Sid's car.

"We're here,"Sidney says.

"I hope we're not coming here again tonight,"I say.

Looking over, Geno was there.

I then watch as they all walk behide the wall but I knew Sidney would stay outside.

"I gotta bury my mom tomorrow, what am I going to do on this short time? I cant do a furenal this fast,"I say as I begin to cry.
She wraps her arms around me.

"We'll figure out something. I'm sure Sid will help to,"Vette says.

"But how any I going to plan that one, this fast?"

"I'll ask my grandfather if he would do the burially ceromony and we just have to have someone dig a hole into the ground. Where did she want to be at?"

"Either in the park in downtown or in North Versailles cemeony where dad is at,"

'Alright, later on well make some calls and see how it goes,"

Sidney smiles as he scoots over to me as colby and Lc climb in by Sid and Vette and Geno beside me.

"Hello i'm your waiter Anna, and here are your menus. What would you like to drink?"he asks.

"Sweet tea,'I say.

"How many pepsis guys?"Colby asks.
Vette,Geno,and LC raise there hands.

"Water please,"Sidney says.

"Alright, i'll be back.,"

"So whats everyone doing after this?"Yvette asks.

"Well, I might be going back to my apartment to get a few things for school tomorrow,"I say.

"I have to go home after this and help my roommate clean up for when his family comes in,"Colby says.

The watiess walks back and hands everyone a glass.
Then we order our meals.
I order the strawberry salad with chicken.

"Hey sid, your cousin is awesome. shes a strong-willed person and I like that bout her. I love her,"i hear colby whispers that to Sid.
I look over at Vette then back over to Sid and colby.

Geno then returns to the table as vette begins to talk to him.
Then LC returns to the table.

As fast as we ordered, they bring out our food.

As I began to eat it, I watch Sidney rip a piece of his sandwich and put it on my plate.

10 minutes later

I push my plate to the front of the table as everyone was finishing up lunch.

"It's all dealing with my mom's furneal, for tomorrow,"I say.

We then both spot Colby and LC kissing as Colby heads to his car.

"They are good together,"I say as LC heads for us.

"you two look like a couple,"LC says, smiling.

Sid just shook his head as we walk to his Range Rover.
LC gets ahead of me as we both walk on the right side of the car.

"Unlocked,"Sid say as I pull the door open.
Getting into the suv, I close the door and buckle up.

"So to your apartment?"Sidney asks as he pulls out onto the road.

"Yep. I gotta face her sometime,"I say as I breathe in deep.

"I can get what you need out of your apartment Aaylah,"LC says.

"If Km isn't there, I'm going in there,"I say just as my phone began to vibrate on my leg.
Pulling my phone from my pocket, I open it.
It was a text from Kim.
clicking on my green button, the message opens up.

"I want to see you Aaylah. Thats why i came out here. If you dont want to see me fine. Your pathetic. You are such a chicken not to be coming her,,,,,"
I close it up and throw it on the floor.

"Whats wrong?"Sidney asks.
I turn back to LC.

"She's still there, so go in my room and grab a few outfits and my backbag that is by my bed. Thats all I need,"I say as I turn around.

Sidney then grab my hand in his and begins to rub my hand like he does whenever I get sad or angry

A few minutes later,Sidney pulls into a parking place.
I then grab my keys and pull them out of my pocket.

"Here, use these to get inside,"I say as I turn and hand them to her.

"Hope Kim doesn't hurt her,"Sidney says.

"So whats the plans for the furneral?"Sid asks.
I know i'm gonna cry.

"She is going to ask her grandfather to be our paster and we are going to try to have someone dug up the spot next to my father and place her there. And it all has to happen tomorrow,"I say.

I then see LC walking out with two bags on her shoulder as she gets into the car.

"Ok, its all taken care of. Km is gonna leave tomorrow and she wishes she never came out here,"LC says as Sidney begins to pull out of the parking lot.

As 5 minutes pass, Sidney pulls into the Lemieux's driveway.
There a a car parked right out front.

I watch as LC grabs my bags.

As soon as we walk in, LC drops my things as she runs into the living room.
I turn to see nathalie sitting on the couch with and older lady.

"I just came to drop your things off and a surpise,"she says.

"I'm doing good Aunt Victoria. Has mom showed you the videos?"Sidney asks as he sits down and pulls me to sit down on his lap.

20 more minutes pass as LC pulls into the driveway.
The Lemieux's car wasn't there, so i guess they already head out.

Walking up the stairs, she pulls away as I open the door to a dark house.

As she walks into room, Sidney turns on the light.

"Welcome home LC,"We all say at the sametime.

"Oh my gosh, Sidney you planned this didn't you?"LC says as we all smile.

"Everyone, listen up,"sidney says as everyone became quiet.

"I invivted you all here for my cousin LC's welcome home party. I just wanted to say that you mean the world to me. Your one of my bestfriend's, sister ad cousin. I'm grateful that you are back here for good. i love you,"Sidney says.
That made me cry alittle bit.

"Aww thanks Sidney. i love you too and glad to be back,"LC says as she hugs Sidney.

"Let's party,"LC says as everyone began going their own way.

Closing the door, i change from my dress into the two piece bikani, which I am a little un comterable about. It makes me feel fatter then I am.
Breathing, i grab my dress as I walk into the hall.

"It makes me feel fat,"I say.

"Your not fat girl. you just have a little baggage. you can put my dress in my room,"

I place it in by the wall as I fully walk into the living area.

We then head back into the pool room and as soon as we do, Colby comes up and grabs LC.

Since everyone was in the pool, they couldnt help sidney.

"Run,"LC and colby say as I jog around the pool.
As I jump over the hose, Sidney wraps his arms around me.

"Got ya, now your going in,"Sidney says as he carrys me over to the edge.
As we reach it, I jump in as I could feel Sidney still onto me as I get into the water.
Sidney pulls me up.

"you ok?"Sidney asks.

"Yes, no thanks to you," I say.
Sidney hangs onto me tightly.
He was even rubbing my fatty stomach.

"Who wants to play chicken?"Colby asks.

"You wanna play?"I ask sidney.

Ryan,Taylor, Marc and Vanessa join the game as Mario and Nathalie walks into the room, shutting the door.

Climbing out, I stood up as I watch as Sidney climbs out as well.

We both laugh as i head out of her room and into the bathroom.
I change from the wet bathing suit into the shorts and shirt as I hear the door to Sidney's room shuts.
Maybe he was changing.
Opening the door, I had my suit hanging up as I walk out and see LC standing there in a skirt and a baby blue stripe shirt.

"you look nice in that. You feel better in that?"LC asks.

We walk out of sidney's wing as some people was leaving.

"Bye Fleury,"I hear Colby say.
We walk into the TV area, where colby,Geno, and Yvette was sitting there.

"Where did everyone go?"I ask.

"Had to go home and the Lemieux's headed upstairs,"Colby says as he wraps his arms around LC's waist.

Then I watch Vette moves her eyes to the right, which meant she wanted to talk.
We walk to the kicthen area.

Downstairs on one side was a wine collar and on the otherside was a little living room.
He leads me over to the couch area as we sit down.

"You know that you looked beautiful in that dress you wore today. You are such a beautiful person, even if someone people think your not,"Sidney says.

I watch him then brushes my hair behide my ears as he grabs my right hand in his.
Then he leans in and our lips meet in a kiss.
It is something that i never felt before.

"We better go check up on Colby and LC,"I say.

Walking back into the living room Cassie's song Is it you? was playing as we watch Colby and LC kissing on the couch.

I knew he was in a good mood.

I watch as Sidney gets into the couch, laying down at the end as i sat down infront of him, then lay down.

A couple of hours pass as it was now 5:30 in the evening.

"Ok, who is going tothe game tonight?"Mario asks his kids.

Everyone raised their hands, including Alexa.

"Ok, so we can fit everyone on the car but should be take your car sid?"Mario asks.

"Yeah, i have to pick up someone on the way home,"Sidney says.

"Alright, austin, Lauren, stephanie your with me. Alexa your going with sid ok?"Mario asks.

"Ok, let's get this show on the road,"Mario says.
I get up from the couch with the sundress on.
It's not hockey dress up but, I was wearing it for the sake of it.
i walk behide sid as we walk outside.

"Ok,"sid says as we walk over to the sliver range rover.

" well this is the cousin that keeps bugging my friend , well right now she doesnt wanna talk to you. so i suggest you take your butt and go right back to columbus cuz your making it harder on her by being here... your making her upset so leave her alone and let her deal with things HER way not YOUR WAY... so i suggest you take a flight home " LC says as she hangs up the phone.

Then the lights dim, as the penguins logo cam onto the ice.

I look out on my right side as I see all the players come onto the ice.

I watch as the lights go on.
The Penguins were playing the New york Rangers, so two of my players from the past are here playing Sidney and the Penguins.
I watch as sidney took center across from Jagr.

"Come on sid get the puck!!!"LC says as she sat down.

3 hours pass as me and Lc watch the game just as the buzzer goes off.

15 minutes later..

I open my eyes as it was still dark, but looking everywhere, there was thick curtains on the window.
Looking around the room, i found the clock that reads 7:45.

Wow cant believe I slept this late.
Getting up out of the bed, I open the door slowly just incase anyone was sleeping.
Walking out, I go down the hallway as i see one door shut.
As I approch the living room area, I see Sidney sitting up.

"Morning Sidney,"I say as i walk over to him.

"Did you sleep well last night?"Sidney asks as I sit beside him on the couch.

"Yeah I slept pretty good last night. What about you?"

"I slept ok,"

Then i hear my cell from my pocket.

Pulling it out of my pocket, i flip it open as it read Kimmy

As I was about to say anything , I watch as LC walks out of the room.

I just lick my lips as we walk across the TV right into the kicthen.

I then watch as Sidney walks into the TV.

Hanging up, I put my phone back into my pocket.

"Yvette?"Sidney asks.

"Yep, she wanted to know where I am and that I was ok,"

Then LC walks into the room.

"You ready to head to the mall?"LC asks.

"I guess so,"I say.

"See you girls later,"Sidney says.

"mommy,"Alexa says as she rushes over to Nathalie.

"I'll be back in a few, sweetie. Be good ok?"Nathalie says as she hugs her.

"Bye Austin, Mario and sidney. I love ya,"Nathalie says.

"Bye honey, have fun,"Mario says as we walk out of the house.

"So what car would you girls like that take?"Nathalie asks as the garage door began to open.
sitting there was a black BMW, a sliver van and a yellow VW bug.

We walk into the garage.

"You want front seat, Aaylah?"LC asks.

"Sure,"I say.

As I open the door, I let LC get into the back as I push the seat back and sit in the passinger seat.
I close the door as I buckle up..

"buckled up?"nathalie asks.

"Yep,"Me and LC say as she backs out and heads out.

"So Aaylah how did you and Sidney meet?"LC asks.

"Um at the hockey rink in southpointe. He helped me with my hockey skills,"I say.

"Aww, you play hockey?"Nathalie asks.

"Yep, I actually began about a month ago. It's a hobby,"I say.

"Nice, so do you know all of Sid's tricks yet?"LC asks.

"Nope but I kicked his butt in a hockey game yesterday at pratice,"I say.

"Nice one,"LC says.

"So tell us about yourself, Aaylah,"Nathalie says as she turns.

"Ok I'm 19,born July 17,1988 in downtown Pittsburgh. My parents are Philip thomason and Mareget Johnson. I have no siblings. I live right now in an apartment in Sewickley Heights. I'm also in my third year in college for childhood development. Then i play hockey on the side. thats my life,"I say.

"Thats a pretty nice life,"Nathalie says.

"Your a year older then me,"LC says.

I turn around.
'When's your birthday?"I ask.

"September 15,1989,"LC says.

"Well it'd better to be young then old. My dad always told me that before he passed on almost 6 years ago,"I say.

"Aww,"Nathalie says.

"So Nathalie we are we going to shop at?"LC asks,

"Going to North shore unless you want to go into downtwon during the day,"Nathalie says.

"North shore is ok with me,"

"Is it ok with you Aaylah?"Nathalie asks.

"Yep, its fine. I haven't been shopping in awhile,"

"How come?"LC asks.

"Cause i've been really busy with school,"I say.

"Your a girl on a mission,"Nathalie and LC both say to me.

We talk alot more as Nathalie parks into a parking place.

"Yay we're here,"LC says as I smile
This day might go well then I thought.

I then unbuckle and get out of the car as LC comes out from the back.
Closing the door, we walk up to the sidwalk.

"Which store first?"Nathalie asks as we walk into the mall.

"Forever 21, I havent been in there"LC says.

"Alright, lets go in,'Nathalie says as LC goes off into the store.

"Aaylah come here,"LC says as I walk over to her.
She was holding up the most beauiful dress that I seen before.
It was a light purple sundress with butterflys and flowers on the bottom.

I pick up the pricetag, it was 150 bucks.
Way too experince for me.

"Here go try it on,"

"Alright, be back,"I say as i had tothe dressing room but i didn'ttry it on cause of the money it costs.
I walk back out and place it back on the rack as I walk on.

"Aaylah, would you like to go for a drink while LC shops. She takes forever,"Nathalie asks.

"Sure,"I say as i walk out with Nathalie.

"So you beat Sid in hockey, that must make you feel good,"Nathalie says.

"yeah it does but, I know they all when easy on me including Fleury,"I say.

"I don't think so,"

"Maybe they didn't,"

We walk up into a line to grab s milkshake.

"what flavor?"Nathalie asks.

"I can buy my own,"I say.

"No I'll pay for it. My treat,"

"You sure?"

"Yes,"

"Vanilla,"

"Ok i would like 2 vanillas and a chocolate,"

I then watch as she passes on to me.

"Thanks Nathalie,"I say.

'your welcome sweetie,"Nathalie says.

We then turn around as LC came walking to us.
she had two bags in her hand.

"Here lauren,"Nathalie says as she hands her the chocolate.

"Thanks, let go exploring,"LC says.

4 hours of walking around a mall really gets to you.
It was now 3 o'clock as we all walk out of the mall.
I was laughing and carrying on.

"and he was naked in the street,"LC says as I laugh so hard.

We all were laughing hard.
Arriving back to the car, Nathalie opens the trunk to the car as LC puts her 6 bags into the trunk.
Closing it, she walks over to me and says"shotgun"

she opens the door as I climb into the backseat then she got into the front seat.

"Thank you for inviting me to come out with you two. i had a blast today,"I say as i buckle up.

"No problam, you didn't want to be bored all day would you?"LC asks.

"If you was still at home, it is boring,"Nathalie says as she begins to back up and heads back in the way we came.
As she gets onto the street, my cell begins to go off.
Pulling it out of my pocket, I say"Hello,"
I watch as Nathalie turns down the radio.

"Get home!!!"Kim exclaims.

"why dont you get your butt back to Columbus where you belong!"I exclaim back.

"i'm only here cause of you and the furneral,"

"Well your not helping me with the furneral cause it's for my mother and your not invited. So get the heck outta Pittsburgh,"
I slam my phone shut.

"You ok Aaylah?"LC asks as i wipe my eyes off.

"I'll be ok,"I say.

"You want me to call sid?"LC asks.

"no, but thanks,"

The rest of the ride was silent as nathalie pulls back into the driveway.
As soon as LC gets out of the car, I get out and head over to the door.
When i arrive to the door, mario opens it.

"Are you ok, Aaylah?"

"Where's Sidney at?"I ask.

"He's in his wing,"Mario says as I walk in and head to sidney's wing.
I knock on the door as he opens it.

"Aaylah are you ok?"Sidney asks as I put my head on his chest.
He wraps his arms around me.

"Shh it's ok Aaylah. whats wrong?"

i look up at him with tears in my eyes.

"Kim called and i told her off but i should be happy but she made me sad,"I say.

"Shh it will be ok,"

"Are you ok dear?"I hear Nathalie ask.

"She'll be ok,"Sidney says in my defense..

"Ok,'

A few minutes later of crying, i left my head up from Sidney's chest.

"you ok now?"

"Yes, thank you sidney,"

"Your welcome,"

"You ok Aaylah?"I hear LC ask.
I turn around as she had all her bags in her hand.

"Yeah, I'll be ok. thanks for asking,"I say.

She smiles as she pulls something out of her bag.

"Here, I bought this for you,"LC says handing me the dress.

"You sure about this?"i ask.

"Yes, I knew you loved it, so I bought it for you,"

"Thank you,"I say.

"Can i use your shower?"LC asks Sidney.

"Yeah, you dont have to ask. It's the first door on your right,"

"Thanks Sid,"LC says as she passes us into his wing.

"Hey can i ask you something?"sidney asks as he closes his door.

"Yeah,"I say.

"Can you help me plan a welcome back party? It's for Lauren,"Sidney says.

"Yeah I can help you out,"

"Thank you, let me go ask Nathalie if she can help out too,"sidney says as he walks away.

He sure loves his cousin.
As he does that, i take out my cell phone to call Yvette.

"Hello,"Vette says.

"Hey it Leah, hows your day been?"I ask.

'Ok I guess. going to watch the Penguins game tonight. Thats about it. How about your day?"Vette asks.

"I just go back from shopping with sidney's cousin and Nathalie Lemieux. His cousin, LC bought me a dress,"

"your lucky to be over there and hanging out,"

"No I'm not, geez,"

"Whatever you say, so what are you doing tonight?"

"I don't know yet,"

"Ah ok, well i gotta go. They want out. Talk at ya later,"

As I hang up, Sidney came back out.

"Ok, she can help us out. What do you think we should have it inside or outside or indoor pool area?"Sidney asks.

"the pool would be different. Do you have any relatives that live here?"I ask.

We walk over to the back window.

"No, our familes both live back in Nova Scotia. why?"

"Does she have friends here?"

"Nope, well maybe you,"

"So who will all be here?"i ask.

"Well the Lemieux's obviously, me you, LC, I was going to invited colby,Whitney,Taylor, his girlfriend, Marc fleury, Vanessa, his girlfriend, and Geno I believe. You want to invite Yvette to come?"Sidney asks.

"I'm sure she would want to come if geno will becoming,"

Sidney smiles.

"So we can through her a pool party just tell everyone to get trunks,"

"Alright got ya. Are you coming to the game tonight by the way? I can get you in,"

"Sure, i'll go,"

"Alright, let me go make some calls out here, while you call Vette,"Sidney says as he goes outside and i dial Vette number again.

"what do you want now?"Vette asks.

"Well Sidney wanted me to invite you to a party after the game tonight,"I say.

"Ok where at?"

"At Mario lemieux's house,"

"I can pick you up or Sidney can because I think I'm going with him to the rink,"

I then turn around to see LC come out in some jeans a sweater and crocs on her feet.

'Where's sid at?"LC asks just as Sidney came back inside.

"Wow, ilike your outfit Lauren,"sidney says.

"You'll like Aaylah's better,"
She looks at me, to move in and change.
A dress is not hockey wear things.

I then walk into sidney's wing as i walk intothe bathroom to change.
I feel so fat in this dress.
Taking a deep breath, I exit the room with nothing on my feet as i walk back into the main way.

"you look beauiful, Aaylah,"LC says.

"I feel fat,'I say.

"He'll love it on you,"she says as Sidney walks into the room.

"Nice dress, Aaylah,"sidney says.
LC then elbows him.

"Ouch lauren,"sidney says as i smile a little bit.

"Sorry, it slpped,"LC says.

"your being evil,"Sidney says.

"Duh,"
I laugh.
they are acting like brother and sister.
