Will it be you?- Chapter 18

"Get up, Sidney!! Your gonna be... Wake up Army!!!"I hear Mario says.
I open my eyes to find myself still in Sidney's arms.

"Alright, Mario. We're getting up,"Sidney says.

I look at Sidney as he kisses me.

"Did you sleep well last night?"Sidney asks.

"Yeah i did. Did you?"I ask.

"With you in my arms, I did,"
I smile as he kiss my forehead.

Looking on the ground, Colby and LC were sitting up and kissing.
they look so cute together.

"Hey Army what ya doing?"Sidney asks as me and Lc begin to crack up.

"Kissing my girl,"Colby says.

"Well get up, we have to get ready to head out of here,"Sidney says as he gets off the couch as I get off too.

"Alright,"Colby says as him and LC get off the ground.

I walk and stand there as Sid agains kisses me.

"You want to borrow something of mine until, you can get to your apartment?"Sidney asks me.

"Yeah,"I say as I smile at him as he heads to his room.

"You two are so in love,"Colby says.

'So are you and Lc,"I say.

"So your going to be wearing his clothes?"Lc says, laughing.
I push her as Colby gets in the middle.

"We need to stop girls. Sidney your girls are fighting,"Colby says as LC pushes him.
I laugh.

"You two need to stop it, Army catch,"Sidney says as he throws a shirt to me.

"Thanks, I'll go in the living area to change,"Colby says.

"You do that, here you go Aaylah. You can have that shirt if you want it. I was saving it for whoever needed it,"Sidney says.

It was a pair of capris, girls and i open the shirt to releve that it had a big 87 on the front of it that was faded.

"Where did you get this at?"i ask.

"I have my own clothing line for Reebok and since i helped design this, they gave me a few outifts incase taylor wanted them but, you came before her,"Sidney says.

"Aww, thats nice,'

"And i get nothing?"LC asks.
Sidney throws her a shirt.

"I'm wearing this today,"LC says as she heads into her room.

"i better change, so we're not late,"Sidney says, smiling.

"Me too,"I say as I head into the bathroom.
I change from the clothes that LC let me borrow into the capris and shirt that Sid let me have.
Then an knock came.

"Hurry up in there,"I hear LC say.

"hold on Lc,"I say.

I then pick up the clothes on the floor and open the door.

"Hey can i go my makeup in the car?"LC asks as Sidney comes out of his room.
I watch as Colby walk up into the hall as he passes me.

"Baby you are hot without it,"Colby says as I walk into LC's room to put her clothes in her hamper.
Walking out, I head to the door as i slip in my flip-flops.

"Everyone ready to go?"Sidney asks.

"Yeah, LC you want to drive with me to the rink?"Colby asks.
I stand there.

"Sure, I'll love too,"LC says.

"Let's head out then,"Sidney says as he let's colby and Lc ahead of us.

"Ladies first,"Sidney says.

"thank you,"I say as I walk pass him as I wait for him.

"Colby is so happy with her, I've never seen him like this before,"Sidney says.

"They pretty much in love,"I say.

"Like us?"Sidney asks.

"Sid, I have never said that to you,"

"I know but you like me right?"

"If I didn't, I would have said no,"
He smiles.

"See you later Sid,"Mario says from the couch.
Sidney stops and turns around.

"I'll see you later on,"Sidney says.

"Alrighty. it was nice having you come over here Aaylah,"Mario says.

"Thank you. It was a nice vacation from my life,"
Mario smiles.

"You'll get through this hard time. You have Sidney here,"
sidney blushes like mad.
I smile.

"I'm sure he'll help me out,"Isay.

"Well you better head out. Pratice began 10 minutes ago,"Mario says.

"Alright, see you later, wait arent you and Nathalie going out tonight?"Sidney asks.

"Yep and the kids are taken care of. They are going to a friends, so you can have the night off,"

"Alright, i'll see you later. Let's go Aaylah,"sid says as we head tothe front door.
We walk out and head down the stairs.
then my phone begins to ring.

'Dang it,"I say as i take it out of my pocket.
Opening it, it relives kim's cell number.

"No way,"I say closing it.

"Give me it,"sidney says.
We stop.
He answers it.

"Hello,"sidney says.

"Where is Aaylah!!"i hear kim yell.

"Don't worry about her. please leave her alone. She's been through alot lately and doesnt need to you through you too. please stop calling my girlfriend,"
Sidney then hangs up the phone.
He just called me his girlfriend.

"You ok aaylah?"Sidney ask me.

"Yeah i'm ok, you just called me your girlfriend,"I say.

"Well you are, arent you?"

"yeah i am,"

Sidney wraps his arms around me.

"Then i'm happy,"
I smile as the hug ended as we walk to his sliver range rover.
Walking to the otherside, i open the door and climb into the SUV.

"You good?"Sidney asks as i close the door.

"Yeah,"i say as he began his car up.
he backs out as he heads to Pittsburgh.

"Thanks for taking care of Kim for me, Sid,"I say.
He grabs my hand and rubs it.

"your welcome. i had to say something to her. I've been seeing you so sad whenever she calls, so I wanted to tell her it,"
I smile.
He really cares about me, like no one has done before and that includes my ex, Ryan.

"So when would you like to have our first official date?"Sidney asks as he interwinds his fingers with mine.

"Can we do it tonight?"I ask.

"Yeah, I'll plan the rest of it,"

"Alright,"
I trust Sidney completely with knowing him only a week.

As he turns, my cell goes off again.
Taking it out of my pocket, I open it to see a number I havent seen before.

"Hello,"I say.

"Ms. Thomason, have you planned out your mothers fate yet?"A doctor asks.

"I've been busy and trying not to think about it,"

"Well, tomorrow afternoon, your mothers body will be taken to a body dump, so call me by then,"
I cry. I dont want to be planning my mothers furenal at 19 years old.

"you ok?"sidney asks.

"No, i have to plan my mother furenal her body will be taken tomorrow,"I say, crying.
Sidney moves his thump up and down my hand.

"I'll help you get through it babe. you'll get through it,"
I just wanted to cry on his shoulder.

25 minutes of driving, Sid pulls into the parking lot of the rink.
He shuts off his car.

"You ready to go in?"Sidney asks.

"not yet, you can go in since your late,"i say.

"I'm not going anywhere with out you,"Sidney says.
I smile as I kiss him.

"Let's go in,"i say.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, we'll figure this out later,"

"Ok,"
I get out of the car as i watch as sidney comes over to me as he grabs my hand.

"Thank you Sid,"I say.

He smiles as we walk into the rink.

"Hey there Aaylah,"Mark says.
I look at Sid as I walk over to Mark.

"How are you today?"Mark asks.

"just got through a crying phase but I'm ok. I have to plan my mothers furenal soon and its going to suck,"Isay.

"It will be better soon, so you here for Penguins pratice in the major arena in the back?"

"Yep,"

"Have fun,"
As I see him eyeing Sidney.

"See you later Mark,"I say as I walk over to sidney.

"so you ready to see pratice?"Sidney asks.

"Ready to see you and the team do some plays,"I say as we walk into a door, into the major rink.

"Aaylah over here,"I hear Lc says.

"I'll see you after pratice,"sidney say as he kisses my cheek as he walks away and me to LC and a few other girls, including Miss, annoying, Taylor.

"Ya i know. how can he date her. He could do so much better,"LC whispers to me as I sit by her on the blechers.

"Yeah,"I say.

"Hey that was a nice party last night,"someone says.

"Thanks, i'm glad you could come,"LC says.
We began to talk to some on the girlfriends as my cell rang.
Again,I take it out of my pocket and open it.
It was Vette,so I say"hey,"

"Geno invited me to pratice today,"Vette says.

"Well you need to hurry down here, wait is Geno with you?"I ask.

"Yes and we are almost there,"

"Oh ok. See you when you get here,"

"Wait your there? did Sidney invite you to come?"

"I'll tell you when you get here,"

"Oh ok. Talk at ya in a few,"
I put my phone back into my pocket.

"Geno invited Vette to the pratice today,"I say.

"Cool, I can't wait to talk to her again,"LC says.

"Hey guys,"Taylor says as she sits besides LC.

"Hi,"Me and LC says.

"I thought me and ry would have beaten you last night,"Taylor says.

"Well you didn't,"LC says as she causes me to smile.
I turn my head as i seen Sidney and cobly coming onto the ice.

"Yeah,"LC says as they both turn and look over to us.

"They are SO cute. i love them, exspecially Army,"Taylor says.

LC turns right around

"What about your whit?'LC asks as she turns around, rolling her eyes.
Taylor then shut up.

As she did, I see Yvette walking in with Geno.

"Vette, come and have a seat with us,"I say as I and LC move over to make room for Vette.

"So how was your night, Vette?"Lc and i both ask.

"you wanna know?"Vette asks.

"just tell us,"I say.

"Well geno took me and home and before i went inside, he kisses me. Not a normaly kiss but a long ass kiss. Then he slept over last night. We didn't do anything those,"Vette says.

"Right,"i say as I hit her a little.

"Nothing did, so did you stay over last night with Sid?"Vette asks.

"Yes and so did LC and Colby,"I say.

"I'm Colby's girlfriend now and she's Sids,"LC says.
I move my head around to her as she stick her tongue out at me.

"Your what!!! Girl your SO lucky,"Vette says.

"I'm not lucky for the thouandth time. He's just a norml guy,"I say.

"No he's a superstar,"
I roll my eyes at her.

"He's just a guy Vette but I've been around him all my life,"LC says.

"You agree with her, your against me too,"Vette says.
We all begin to laugh as we watch them pratice.

An hour passes by as they guys get off the ice.

"You all going to the locker room?"Taylor asks.
Me and LC look at each other then me to Vette.

"Sure,"i say as all three of us head to the locker room area.
Taylor as head of us.

"I'm going to kiss Colby right in front of her,"LC says.
Vette made a confused face.
I go close to her ear and say" Taylor the girl head of us likes Colby, so LC is going to kiss him right in front of her,"

"Oh ok,"Vette says,softly.

We arrive to the locker room as Colby walks out.
LC then smiles and plants on one him.

"Wow,"Colby says as I turn to walk Taylor walking into the locker room, madder then a hornet bee.

"what was that for? I was fixing to come get you,"Colby asks.

"Taylor, she has a xrush on you,"LC says.

"ah ok, come on in. Nice to see you Yvette right?"Colby asks as we all walk into the locker room.
Geno was talking to sid, as i knew what he was telling him.
I then walk over to him and sit beside him.

"Hey,"sidney says.

"Good job today," I say.

"Thank you,"Sidney says.

"You too Geno,"I say as I walk over to him and hug him.

"Thank you,"Geno says.
I turn around to see Vette there, smiling as I move out of the way so she could get to Geno.

"Hey you all wanna go out to lunch, since he havent ate breakfest,"Colby asks as he sits a space between Sidney.

"Sure, we'll go,"I say as I sit by sidney.

"you wanna come Vette,Geno?"I ask.

I watch as they look at one another.

"Sure, why not,"Geno says.

"Ok, where should be go?"colby asks.

"Hmm, how about the TGI Fridays?"Sidney asks.

"That sounds yummy,"LC says.

"Well let's head outta here and go get some food,"Colby says as we all stand up.

"Ladies first,"Colby says as Lc, myself and Vette walk out before the boys do.

"So which one are we going to Crosby?"Colby asks.

"The one in Sewickley,"Sidney says.

"Alright,"
Me,LC and Vette still walk infront of them as we walk out of the door to the bright sunlight..

"Dang it sun,"I say.
We all then stop.

"Whos leader?"LC asks.

"You and colby since he asked,"Sidney says.

"alrighty then boys and girls, lets move it. I'm hungry,"Colby says as we all began to laugh.

'See you girls there,"LC says as she follows Colby to his SUV as Vette walked with Geno.
I look at sidney as we head to his range rover.

"It's unlocked Aaylah,"Sidney says as I climb into the SUV like car.
Closing the door, i buckle up.

"I can't wait to at TGI Fridays. I've never been there,"I say as Sidney watches colby pull out as he does.

"The food is good there. Colby,Max, and Geno all pulled me out to it, so I had to eat. You'll like it,"Sidney says.

"I hope it doesnt make me fat,"

"Aaylah your not fat, stop saying that,"
Sidney then grabs my hand to rub it.

"But I am,"

"Your not,"
Maybe sidney is right.
As we stop behide Colbys SUV, LC turns around waves to us.
Me and sidney both wave back to her as I turn around to pas it along to Vette and Geno.
They both smile as I sit back down as Sidney takes off behide Colby.

24 minutes of driving later, Sidney pulls into the resturant parking lot.
He parks right beside Colby as Geno parks on the right side of Sid's car.

"We're here,"Sidney says.

"I hope we're not coming here again tonight,"I say.

"We're not, I promise,"Sidney says as my door opens.
Looking over, Geno was there.

"Thank you geno,"I say as i get out of the car.
Closing my door, I walk onto the sidewalk with Geno and Vette behide me.
But as I got on, I let Geno go head of me.

"Whats up?"Vette asks.
We stop infront of the building as I seen everyone else in the countier of my eyes.

"Go ahead inside. I need to talk to Yvette,"I say.
I then watch as they all walk behide the wall but I knew Sidney would stay outside.

"I gotta bury my mom tomorrow, what am I going to do on this short time? I cant do a furenal this fast,"I say as I begin to cry.
She wraps her arms around me.

"We'll figure out something. I'm sure Sid will help to,"Vette says.

"But how any I going to plan that one, this fast?"

"I'll ask my grandfather if he would do the burially ceromony and we just have to have someone dig a hole into the ground. Where did she want to be at?"

"Either in the park in downtown or in North Versailles cemeony where dad is at,"

"With one do you want?"

"By dad,"

'Alright, later on well make some calls and see how it goes,"

'Your such a good friend to me,"I say.

"We're like sisters, lets go ahead inside,"Vette says as we walk inside as we saw Sid,Geno,Colby and LC sitting there.

"You alright?"sid asks me as he comes over to me.

"I'll be fine, did you guys already get a table?"I ask.

"right here, we couldn't go to it without you,"LC says.

"Thanks, lets head over to the table,"I say as Sid looks at me as we walk together to the countier booth in the very back of the building.

"I want round,"I say as I quickly climb in to the center of the round couch.
Sidney smiles as he scoots over to me as colby and Lc climb in by Sid and Vette and Geno beside me.

"Hello i'm your waiter Anna, and here are your menus. What would you like to drink?"he asks.

"Sweet tea,'I say.

"How many pepsis guys?"Colby asks.
Vette,Geno,and LC raise there hands.

"four Pepsis,"Colby says.

"Water please,"Sidney says.

"Alright, i'll be back.,"

"So whats everyone doing after this?"Yvette asks.

"Well, I might be going back to my apartment to get a few things for school tomorrow,"I say.

"Your ready to go back?"Vette asks.

"Yep,"

"what about everyone else?"

"I have to go home after this and help my roommate clean up for when his family comes in,"Colby says.

"I have nothing plan for today,"LC says.
The watiess walks back and hands everyone a glass.
Then we order our meals.
I order the strawberry salad with chicken.
It sounds yummy.

"I gotta use the restroom, excuse me,"LC says as she gets up.
As she gets up Geno leaves as well.

"Hey sid, your cousin is awesome. shes a strong-willed person and I like that bout her. I love her,"i hear colby whispers that to Sid.
I look over at Vette then back over to Sid and colby.
Sidney was really whispering to Colby as he smiles at me.

"What are you sayin Crosby?"I ask, in a mean but kind way.
He looks at me as he smiles.
Geno then returns to the table as vette begins to talk to him.
Then LC returns to the table.

As fast as we ordered, they bring out our food.

"Yummy this looks good,"I say as I pick up my fork.
I look over and sidney had a burger that looks good.

"You want some?"sidney asks.
I got caught.

"No thank you,"I say.
As I began to eat it, I watch Sidney rip a piece of his sandwich and put it on my plate.

"try it,"Sid says.
Placing my fork down, I grab the piece and place it into my mouth.
It was REALLY good.

"You like it?"Vette asks.

"It's good," say.

"See all beef isn't bad for you,"Sidney says.
I smile as I went back to my salad.

10 minutes later

I push my plate to the front of the table as everyone was finishing up lunch.

"Here is your check,"she says setting it on the table.

"Thank you,"Geno say as he hands her a five dollar bill.

"Thank you,"she says walking away.

"Well let's get outta here,"Sidney says as he grabs the checl and moves out.
As he gets out he places his hand out for me.

"Thank you,"I say as I grab his hand as he helps me up.

"Sid i'll pay for the bill,"Colby says as he turns around.

"I got it Colby,"Sid says.

"Alright, let's head outside LC,"Colby says.

"Meet you outside,"LC says as she heads out with Colby.

"I hope Km isn't there,"Vette says.

"Me too,"

"Well I'll call you later on tonight about if he can do it or not,"

"Alright Vette,Thanks,'I say as I hug her and Sid pays the bill.

"See you later. By Sid,"Vette says.

"Bye vette,"sidney says as I turn around to Sid.

"What was that about? If who could do what?"Sidney asks as he walks over to me.

"It's all dealing with my mom's furneal, for tomorrow,"I say.

"Aww,"Sidney says as he wraps his arms around me as we walk out of the resturant.
We then both spot Colby and LC kissing as Colby heads to his car.

"They are good together,"I say as LC heads for us.

"you two look like a couple,"LC says, smiling.

'Well you and Colby do too,"I say right back at her.
Sid just shook his head as we walk to his Range Rover.
LC gets ahead of me as we both walk on the right side of the car.

"Unlocked,"Sid say as I pull the door open.
Getting into the suv, I close the door and buckle up.

"So to your apartment?"Sidney asks as he pulls out onto the road.

"Yep. I gotta face her sometime,"I say as I breathe in deep.

"I can get what you need out of your apartment Aaylah,"LC says.

"If Km isn't there, I'm going in there,"I say just as my phone began to vibrate on my leg.
Pulling my phone from my pocket, I open it.
It was a text from Kim.
clicking on my green button, the message opens up.

"I want to see you Aaylah. Thats why i came out here. If you dont want to see me fine. Your pathetic. You are such a chicken not to be coming her,,,,,"
I close it up and throw it on the floor.

"Whats wrong?"Sidney asks.
I turn back to LC.

"She's still there, so go in my room and grab a few outfits and my backbag that is by my bed. Thats all I need,"I say as I turn around.

"Alright,"LC says.
Sidney then grab my hand in his and begins to rub my hand like he does whenever I get sad or angry
It does work on me.

A few minutes later,Sidney pulls into a parking place.
I then grab my keys and pull them out of my pocket.

"Here, use these to get inside,"I say as I turn and hand them to her.

"Alright, I'll be back,"LC says as she gets out of the car.

"Hope Kim doesn't hurt her,"Sidney says.

"She wont,"I say.

"So whats the plans for the furneral?"Sid asks.
I know i'm gonna cry.

"She is going to ask her grandfather to be our paster and we are going to try to have someone dug up the spot next to my father and place her there. And it all has to happen tomorrow,"I say.
I knew Sidney wanted to give me a hug but he couldn't.

I then see LC walking out with two bags on her shoulder as she gets into the car.

"Ok, its all taken care of. Km is gonna leave tomorrow and she wishes she never came out here,"LC says as Sidney begins to pull out of the parking lot.

"Thank god, shes going back home,"I say as Sidney turns to head to Sewickley.

"So what do you go to school for?"LC asks.

"Early childhood Development,"I say.

"Aww, thats so cute. How are the kids?"LC asks.

"They are very behaved kids but some still go off the wall,"
I look to see Sidney, smiling.

"So how was the school in Sweden?" I ask.

"Well it was an all girls school, so it sucked but i enjoyed myself over there,"LC says.

"Thats good, are you going to be getting into college?"I ask.

"I dont know yet,"

As 5 minutes pass, Sidney pulls into the Lemieux's driveway.
There a a car parked right out front.

"Who's car is that?"LC asks as Sidney parks his car.

"I don't know. Maybe it's Lauren's car,"Sidney says as he hops out of the car as I do as well.
I watch as LC grabs my bags.

"I can carry them,"I say.

"No, I got them,"LC says as she closes the door and I follow her as Sidney gets beside me.

"Lauren knows how to drive?"I ask.

"Mario has been taking her out lately and her birthday is next week,"Sidney says as he grabs my hand as we walk in behide LC.

As soon as we walk in, LC drops my things as she runs into the living room.
I turn to see nathalie sitting on the couch with and older lady.

"Mom, I can't believe that you are here,"LC says as Sidney takes me into the room.

"I just came to drop your things off and a surpise,"she says.
then looks up to see me and sidney.

"Sidney, come here,"she says as he kept my hand in his as we walk over there.
She gets up as he lets go of my hand.

"How have you been? I havent seen you in forever,"she says.
I smile.
He has a good family around him, including the Lemieux's.

"I'm doing good Aunt Victoria. Has mom showed you the videos?"Sidney asks as he sits down and pulls me to sit down on his lap.

"Yes she did,"

"Oh this is my girlfriend,Aaylah. Aaylah this is my aunt and LC's mom, Victoria Crosby,"Sidney says as I smile.

"It's nice to meet you Aaylah,"Victoria says.

"You too,"I say.
I'm sometimes very shy around people.

"So where are my boxes?"LC asks.

"In you room, in Sidneys wing,"Victoria says.

"then were is my surrpise at?"LC asks.
She wants it.

"Look outside,"victoria says as LC gets up.

"All that is out here is a blue corvette with a bow,"LC says as she comes back in.
Then her mother pulls out keys.

"It's yours,"Victora says as LC came back and huggin her mom.

"Thank you mom. can I go test ride it?"LC asks.

"It's your car,"Victoria says.

"Come on Aaylah. Come for the ride,"LC says as she goes over to the door.
I dont know

"Go ahead with her. She's a safe driver,"Sidney says as he kisses my cheek.

"Alright but if I die,its her fault," I say getting up.

"You wont die,"Sidney says as he walks me to the door.

"Alright, be back in a flash. Hey LC hold on,"I say as I go running out the door.
I climb into her car.

"This is nice,"I say.

"Lets go,"LC says as she pushes on the gas.
We when so fast down the drive that we take the curb too fast.
As we turn down a street, LC's cell phone began to ring.

"Dang it,"LC says as she gets it and places it to her ear.

"Hello, hey. Oh ok, when? alright i'll do that. Thanks bye,"LC says as she places her phone on the seat.

"Who was that?"I ask.

"My mother,"LC says as turns down the street.

"Oh ok,"Isay.

"I'm so glad your dating Sidney,"LC says.

"why?"I ask.

"cause your like the perfect girl for him. You are nice, you can have fun if you want. your goal orantated, you have dream and will make them. Your determined person,"LC says.
I didn't know she knew me that well.

"Thanks, that makes me feel like i'm loved,"

"Uncle Troy, Aunt Trina and my cousin Taylor would love you,"

I smile.

"I'm serious, they would. they would want a girl like you to marry their son and or brother,"

"Aww, I would love to be that girl but i dont know,"

"Oh you will be. If sidney dumps you, I'll hurt him,"
We begin to laugh.

"Hold on, I gotta make a few calls, is that ok?"LC asks.

'Go ahead,"

She made two different calls, that I didn't pay attention.

20 more minutes pass as LC pulls into the driveway.
The Lemieux's car wasn't there, so i guess they already head out.

"Go ahead and get out. I gotta go get Colby for dinner,"LC says.
She smiles as I do.

"Have fun with him,"I say.

"I will,"LC say.
Walking up the stairs, she pulls away as I open the door to a dark house.

"Is anyone here?'I ask as I seen my bags werent on the floor as I walk in.
Walking down, I see the table with a lit candle on it.
What is going on?
Is Mario and Nathalie still here?
