Will it be you?- Chapter 16

A couple of hours pass as it was now 5:30 in the evening.

"Ok, who is going tothe game tonight?"Mario asks his kids.

Everyone raised their hands, including Alexa.

"Ok, so we can fit everyone on the car but should be take your car sid?"Mario asks.

"Yeah, i have to pick up someone on the way home,"Sidney says.

"Alright, austin, Lauren, stephanie your with me. Alexa your going with sid ok?"Mario asks.

"Ok daddy,"

"Ok, let's get this show on the road,"Mario says.
I get up from the couch with the sundress on.
It's not hockey dress up but, I was wearing it for the sake of it.
i walk behide sid as we walk outside.

"Who want to sit up front?"Sid asks.

"Let Alexa,"LC says.

"Ok,"sid says as we walk over to the sliver range rover.

"It's unlocked,'sidney says.

"you want right or left side?"LC asks.

"Right,"I say.
She nods her head as she walks around.
Before i got in, i watch as sidney helps Alexa into the car.
He's so sweet and caring.
I then get into the car as I shut the door.
then i buckle up.

"You need help Alexa?"sidney asks.

"no i go it,"Alexa says.

"Got your seatbelts on?"sidney asks.

"yep,"Me and LC says as we hear Alexa's buckle in.
Sidney turns as we see Mario waiting there.

"go sid!!"I hear him yell.
Then sidney back out a litte then head for the main road.

"We're leading Sidney. you never have before,"Alexa says.

"That's because i've always ride with your dad,"sidney says.

"You ready for the game tonight?"LC asks.

"Yep, it will be my second game,"i say.

"Second game? this is my first one with Sidney in the NHL ,"

"You should be excited. When I seen him on the ice last home game, I was smiling,"

"i cant wait to see this game. My first game home,"
i smile as we was talking softly so Sidney couldnt hear us.

me and LC talk all the way to the rink.
I had my eyes on Sidney too as he parks right behide the building.

"We're here,"Alexa announces.

"Thank you Alexa,"LC says as I open the door.
Getting out and closing my door, i watch as Alexa gets out of the car.
We both walk up to the sidewalk as sidney and LC join us.

"You want to head in?"sidney asks.

"We have to wait for daddy, sidney,"alexa says.

"Alright,"Sidney says.
I was standing next to sidney was i knew he was staring at me as we watch as Mario parks besides Sidneys car.

"Daddy's here,"alexa says as she runs over to the van.

"I got you and LC a ticket. It's in the main office when you go to the front. It's under my last name,"sidney says.

"Thanks sid,"I say as I hug him.

"Your welcome,"sidney says.

Mario then came out from around his Van with 3 kids in toe. Alexa was in his arms.

"Ready to head inside?"Mario asks.

"Yep, i think we all are,"Sidney says.
Then we go in a single line with sidney leading.

"Are you a couple with my cousin?"LC asks.

"No, why?"I ask as we follow all the lemieuxs into the building.

"You act like a couple,"LC says.
I never thought that we were acting like that.

"Well I gotta go get changed. See you after the game,"sidney says as he hugs me and LC.

"alright. Kick some ass tonight on the ice, sid,"LC says as she covers her mouth, as she relized kids were there.
I smile.

"Thanks,"
He walks into the locker room.

"You two have tickets?"Mario asks.

"Yes, Sid got us some. They are at the front desk,"I say.

"Alright. We also will see you after the game,"Mario says.

"Bye Mario. Bye guys,"I say as they follow there dad as we head up tothe main floor of the arena.
when then found the station and stood in line.

"I'm not feeling combfortable in this dress at a hockey game. I'm fat,"I say.

"Your not fat Aaylah. The dress looks good on you,"LC says.

"thanks LC but i still feel fat,"I say.

"your not, trust me,"

"Thanks,"

"Next," a woman says.
We walk up.

"We have tickets reserved under the last name of Crosby,"I say.
She looks through her pile.

"Here you go, wait whats your name?"she asks.

"Aaylah Thomason,"I say.

"alright, enjoy thegame,"
She hands me the tickets as i give on to LC.

"I wonder why she wanted to know my name,"I say.

"Probably for sercity reasons,"LC says.

"Maybe. Let's head to our seats,"

We walk into the arena as I hand my ticket to an usher.

"At the very bottom at the glass level, right by the railing there,"he points to me and gives me my ticket back.

"Thanks you," I say as lead LC down to the counter .
I walk passed people as we apporach the railing.

"LC you can take the railing seat if you want to,"

"You go ahead and have it,"LC says as I reach the end and sit down.

"This is excting,"LC says.

"Yeah it is. My second game this week,"I say.
I love hockey.

"Lucky but i just got outta school too,"

"Yeah that true,"
As I say that my cell phone begins to ring.
I open a small purse that Nathalie let me borrow as I pull out my cdll phone.
Opening it, she saw Kim's name.

"I'm not answering this,"

"Give it to me,'LC says as I hand her my phone.

"Hello this is LC, who is this?"LC says.

"This is Kim,"I hear kim yell.

" well this is the cousin that keeps bugging my friend , well right now she doesnt wanna talk to you. so i suggest you take your butt and go right back to columbus cuz your making it harder on her by being here... your making her upset so leave her alone and let her deal with things HER way not YOUR WAY... so i suggest you take a flight home " LC says as she hangs up the phone.

"Taken care of,"

"Thanks you so much,"I say.

"thats what friends are for,"LC says.

Then the lights dim, as the penguins logo cam onto the ice.

"This is exciting,"LC says.

"now your Pittsburgh Penguins,"

I look out on my right side as I see all the players come onto the ice.

"WOOHOO let's go Sid!!!"Lc yells.
She was very deacaited to her cousin.
I watch as the lights go on.
The Penguins were playing the New york Rangers, so two of my players from the past are here playing Sidney and the Penguins.
I watch as sidney took center across from Jagr.

"Come on sid get the puck!!!"LC says as she sat down.
In a matter of seconds, sidney won the puck and passes it to Colby.

"Go colby,"I say as he shots it into the net.

"Yeah!!"Me and LC say together.

3 hours pass as me and Lc watch the game just as the buzzer goes off.

They have won the game, 3 games in a row that they won.

"Yes they won on my first game I've seen sid in the NHL,"LC says.

I smile.
I was so glad that they won.

"you want to watch them head into the locker room?"I ask.

"Heck ya,"LC says.

After they shook hands with the rangers, the skate over to the walk way.
When Colby goes by, I just point at him as he does the same to me.
Sidney was the last one off the ice as he waves to me and LC.
We both wave back as we turn and head up the stairs.

"That was a great game,"LC says as we walk into the lobby as we head back down to the locker room area.

"yeah it was. colby won it for us,"I say.

"Who is colby?"LC asks.

"He scored our first and last goals,"

"Oh ok, he did help us,"

As we head down to the lockerroom, we see sound women standing around the lockerroom area.

"Hi, I'm Taylor,"A brunette says to us.

"hi, I'm LC, i'm Sidney's cousin,"LC says.

"Aww thats nice that you came to the game,"Taylor says.

"Yeah, It was my first game too,'

"Nice, did you enjoy it?"

"Yeah,"

"Good. i'm Taylor,"taylor says to me.

"I'm Aaylah,"I say.

"It's nice to meet you too,"

"You too,"

As a few minutes pass,Taylor was getting on my last nerves until a player came out.

"That's my ryan,"Taylor says as she walks away.

"She's annoying,"I whisper to LC.

As most of the girlfriends or wives leave.
I see Sidney and Colby coming out.

"Who was that girl sitting next to Aaylah in the stands?"colby asks.

"that was my cousin.She just got in from Sweden yesterday," Sidney says.

"She looks," as Colby was going to say it, i watch him stare at her.
LC's back to to him as they come over to us.

"Hey,"Sidney says.
She turns around and spots Colby.

"Hey,"LC says.

"Lauren this is one of my teammate, Colby armstrong. colby this is my cousin Lauren but we call her LC,"Sidney says.

"Nice to meet you LC,"Colby says.

"you too,"LC says as she keeps smiling at him.
That made everyone smile too

"Would you like to go to a movie and dinner sometime LC?"Colby asks as me and Sidney got to the side.

"Sure i'll love too,"LC says.

"can i have your number?"colby asks.

"As long as I can have your too,"

"thats just so cute,"I say.

"I can't believe that she is going to go out with him,"Sidney says.

"I can,"

As they hug, She walks over to me and Sidney.

"Ready to head home?"Sidney asks.

"Yep. See you later Colby, "LC says as she waves Colby bye.

We then head out the door that we came into.

"LC, you made Colby weak when he saw you. He has never acted that way to any girl before,"Sidney says.

"Well i really like him to. He is very hott too,"LC says as I being to laugh.
I could never picture Army like that in my whole life.

We walk to the car.

"LC you can sit up front with me, Army lover,"Sidney says as I being to laugh as i get into the right side of the car.

"Oh shut up,"LC says as sidney began his car up.
he then looks at me.

"LC's got a crush in Army!!!" Me and Sidney says together over an over until we reach the main road.

"Yes i do!!"LC says proudly.

I smile.

"so we gotta pick up Aaylah's friend on the way back to the Lemieux's house,"sidney says.

"alright,"

As sidney heads to Sewickley, I take my phone out an dial her number.

"where are you?"Vette asks.

"We are on our way to come and get you,"I say.

"alright,"

"I gotta call someone else,"

"Ok see you when you get here,"

"Ok bye,"
As i hang up with her, i call Sidney's cell number.
I watch as he picks it up.

"Hello,"sidney says.
I cover my mouth and whisper'Are they going to be at the house by the time we get there?"

"They such be,"Sidney says.

"Ok bye,"I whisper as i hang up and sit up in my seat.

15 minutes later..

"So where does she live at?"Sidney asks as we arrive in Sewickley.

"Turn right at the light,"I say.
Sidney then turns.

"And go all the way down. Her apartment complex is at the end,"

"the last building?"Sidney asks.

"Yep,"I say.

Sidney drives to the end and parks.

"I'll be right back," I say as i exit the car and walk to the first door.
I then knock on it.

"Come on Vette,"I say.
She then opens the door to reveal a pretty summer dress with a white sweater on top of it.

"Let's go,"Vette says.
We walk back to the car as Vette knew that i wanted the right side of the car.
I then got in as Vette did too.

"Hey Yvette,"Sidney says.

"Hey Sid. Nice seeing you again,"Vette says as Sid pulls out.

"You too.,"
I knew she was wondering who was in the front seat.

"This is lauren but we call her LC. She is Sidney's cousin. LC this is my friend, well other friend Yvette," I say.

"Nice to meet you LC,"Vette says.

"you too,"LC says.

Then 5 more minutes, Sidney pulls into the driveway.

"He's house is nice,"Vette says.
I knew she meant Mario's.

"It's the Lemieux's house,"LC says.

"Well it's nice,"Vette says as Sidney pulls his ranger rover to a stop beside my BMW.

I then unbuckle and get out of the car.
Walking over to the other side, I watch as Vette and Sidney get out of the car.

"Let's go inside. I'm getting tired,"Sidney says as he heads intothe house before all three of us.
I knew where he was going but LC didn't know.

"Go with sid,"I whisper to Vette as she follows him into the pool room.

"Aaylah come here,"sidney says.

"i'll be back,"I say to LC as I ran into the room and get behide sidney.

"LC, can you come here for a minute? I'm in the pool room,"

As she walks over to the room, her face expression as like what the heck.
